Just as many have been stating for a few months now, the decline of medellin started about 10 years ago. Read my reports and you can follow the progression.

In some people's opinion the best strategy in medellin today is to go to the centro casas and offer a tip (propina) for whatever service you desire.

See, the problem with going to the places where you pay hundred of thousands of pesos upfront is that the chica has already made her money as soon as you have paid the time fee for her.

She does not need a tip to make it worth her while to suffer you on top of her for a rato.

Enjoy the last that medellin has to offer and of course don't end up like that guy in cartagena today.

Unfortunately, this is the reality. Most of the hot girls are no longer in MDE, but in Europe, Mexico, etc. Or have sugar daddies and / or western union simps and don't need to fuck random gringos anymore.

This is my process for online.

1. Filter every girl that is ugly.

2. Message the handful of decent girls.

The hot girls either don't answer or they are just an agency where the girl doesn't work anymore and there's only a few ugly girls. Face book is filled with scammers, bimbos selling pics, and girls I wouldn't go out with. The handful that would go out with me I asked to video call one before a date because they started asking for money for un "un helado" I said after you video call me I'll send it. They video call me and the room is mad dark. She's like I'm in "university ". My booty. So dark but it didn't seem like the girl in the photos.

So yea Medellin online sucks. And Medellin in general seems to be bad as well. At least quality per cost. There are a bunch of girls online and in person but they are all ugly.

Lleras girls are just centro girls. Centro girls are not that good looking I've heard. I want to fantasias energy and it was bad so other casas might be the same. There are only 2 or 3 girls I would do in la isla. Don't feel like negotiating in gustos. I still have to try Loutron again.

Just going to stick to la isla, Loutron if it's good and venture out to Luna lunera and fase dos to see if it's good. Otherwise peace out Medellin.

Unfortunately, this is the reality. Bogota might be a better option, because of the college girls, and a sheer volume of women, but the weather kinda sucks. Lune Lunera is garbage, don't waste your time. La Isla is superior to fase dos. Loutron is a hit or miss, but the service is a bit mechanical and all covered.

For a newbie, Medellin is a tough place nowadays. Most guys who still have fun in Medellin are those living there, or coming down there often and relying on their regulars. Treat your regulars well, guys and enjoy them while they last.

I haven't have the same experience with Facebook girls in Medellin but I have been focused exclusively on Facebook girls for six trips now. With some time and effort, you can avoid the scammers and unattractive girls. There are a number of young attractive girls available on Facebook for a reasonable price. You just have to take the time to screen the girls and find the good ones. I would agree if you don't have the time before your trip, don't go on Facebook looking for girls. You do have to pay for transport because they tend to live in Bello but you can pay for the taxi when it arrives at your place and not in advance. So far no girl has not looked like their pictures on their FB profile. I have been impressed with with the quality of the girls that I have found on FB and their performance in bed. But to each, his own and you should do what you think is right for you.

I haven't had an issue connecting with chicas on Facebook, but something is telling me it would be easier to connect with younger women on that platform. Since it's a younger person's app. But maybe because Colombia has lots of older gringos coming who use Facebook chicas have adapted to that to connect. Then because the chicas are there, more mongers show up and it's a self reinforcing cycle.

Can we crowdfund a documentary into the use of social media for hoeing around Colombia? Who were the pioneers? Key moments? How Facebook policy changes affected the market?

I have faux accounts for FB and IG although I do use real pics. I've had quite good success. IG takes a little longer and more prima donnas, but you can find some real lookers. I find they typically want more than the FB girls by 100 k or so premium, but some of them will go out with you simply to have a nice dinner at a fashionable place. I've had some freebies.

They did share the location live and it was where they told me. But without a video call can't prove anything which they won't do.

That's one of the most obviously fake accounts I've seen to be honest LOL. There are multiple different pics of chics (one that is legit and I've met) as well as pics of Jessica Rabbit who is a somewhat famous IG'er and pornstar from Barranquilla. You can do a reverse image search if you want to do a quick check on an account's authenticity.

Maybe the fact that more girls accept your friend request when they can't actual see your face as opposed to seeing your face is more a reflection of how you look. Ja ja ja.

Older gringos actually don't use Facebook very much. Rather, older gringos go on Facebook because girls in Medellin are on Facebook. Girls were on FB first and that is why gringos go searching there.

Many girls on FB are also on Instragram or you might say many girls on Instragram often have a FB profile.

FB girls

FB girls were the highlight of the trip.

I am not going to describe each encounter, I'll just summarise as follows:

- Out of 5 girls, only 1 didn't provide GFE (but she had the best ass).

- Looks / body wise they were 7. 5-9's for me.

- As far as I remember. Ages were 18/19/19/21/23.

- 2 didn't want to use condoms and in the heat of the moment I went along with it (never done this before. Ever). 1 of them didn't let me pull out. She was on top.

- Prices were 250 k-350 k + 50 k for taxis.

- I did encounter a fair few scam profiles. In 2 cases I found out they were scammers pretty late in the process. 1 I was able to spot just before arranging for meet up. They used photos of some OF model that I was able to reverse image search eventually (had to try each photo). 1 was indistinguishable from a real profile (I. E. I met up with another real FB girl who had a very similar profile). I don't know what they wanted but they played along all the way through arranging a meet up and even saying they are ready to catch a taxi. Then nothing. Fortunately someone else was available at last minute, so it was fine.

I'm coming back to Medellin in a few weeks and planning to repeat all of my FB girls and try to find a few more.

If anyone wants to exchange contacts for FB girls. DM me, but please be aware I'm very picky and don't get mad if I decline your offers. Also, obviously I can only vouch for my experiences. Your mileage may vary.

I arrived one night around 2 PM and a white taxi driver said 110 K, and since he was the only driver available, and I was wasted from flying so long I just said okay fuck it let's go.

I didn't want to screw around over about $ 2 USD at 2 AM in the morning and just wanted to climb in the sack.

Your experiences at the airport mirror mine. I consistently arrive late due to the airline schedule. Have the same problem with the hustle. I am not going to going to fuck around over a few dollars. I am long past worrying about that in order to facilitate my personal comfort.

As stated in this forum many times, the current white taxi rate to the city from the airport is $98 k COP, which everyone rounds up to $100 k. Some users have reported that late night arrivals can get hustled to $120 K COP, but that could be a confidence / approach issue. If there had been more than one taxi driver available I might have raised hell, but sometimes they will all try to hose you as this happens a lot with the yellow taxis like in and around Zona Rosa and at the Poblado Metro station if there is a shortage of taxis, especially if your a foreigner, and a Friday or Saturday night.

I Just recently got in a yellow cab at the Poblado Metro Station, and was headed up towards the Tesoro area and the driver gave me a fixed price when I asked him to turn on the meter so I just got out of the cab and found another one. If you are able to pick up a yellow taxi at a designated pick up spot for them, like at EXITO in Pobaldo, they won't try to pull a stunt like that.

This past Monday I had a flight out of Medellin and reserved a pick up in Poblado, with the same white taxi company that works out of Rio Negro and the posted rate on their website for pick up from Medellin to Rio Negro was only 90 K, and they were very punctual.

And as far as the posted rate of 98 K well as some may not be aware of, that's the posted rate from portions of Medellin like Poblado posted in all the yellow taxis.

And sometimes at the airport when there are no taxis available that sometimes occurs during the day, you will have to wait for one to show up and will be paying 98 K but again have to wait a awhile so you can always go to the departure level and look for someone being dropped off and snag a ride.

I have only had to do this on one occasion, and as an example, if it's a yellow taxi they will be happy to take you because they are not licensed to pick up passengers at the airport so they just return to the City as the 98 K fare actually includes the toll fare both ways.

When this happens to you, you can just fill out a form at exit and the government will refund you the VAT tax.

Only if you paid with a credit or debit card, and you still may not get it. My neighbor filed the papers at the airport more than three years ago for taxes the hotel and other miscellaneous places charged. She still hasn't received a refund, nor any communication from the tax department.

Tourists (travelers who stay 180 days or less in one calendar year) are not supposed to have to pay the VAT tax. The one and only time I stayed at the Mansion, they charged a VAT tax and would not take it off even after I questioned it. They claimed the exemption only applies to new hotels, which is pure BS.

When this happens to you, you can just fill out a form at exit and the government will refund you the VAT tax. This is the main reason the hotel collects and copies your passport and entry stamp, legal evidence as to why they did not collect VAT tax. This applies to almost every country in the world.
