Hello everyone,

First post here. I would like to thank all of you for sharing your valuable knowledge about Medellin. I am planning on going there for my first time next June and staying at the Mansion for a few weeks. I have been working on building up my Facebook chica list. Would any of you be willing to share some Facebook chica contacts that sell their videos and provide sessions in Medellin?

There is a search function on the thread. In the grey area just above where it says "This forum thread is moderated by Admin" and to the right. It says search thread. Enter the word facebook and go back and read every thread, there is a lot of advice and directions to be found. I noticed that you went through the effort to get a membership so you have private message capability. Check your messages, I am sending you some tips.

OK you arrived on March 15. Normally (we are NOT in normal) you get a 90 day term for your visit (the stamp in your passport) at the end of 90 days you should be leaving the country. You do have the option to extend for another 90 days by going to Migration Colombia offices and requesting an extension and paying whatever they charge (it's not a lot) and they give you a second 90 day stamp. You are NOT allowed to stay in country for.

More than 180 days during a calendar year. The fines are substantial and they will hold you up at the airport until you pay them.

Migration Colombia offices have been closed during the quarantine. There was a general announcement. Your 90 day tourist visa (the arrival stamp in your passport) was suspended when the quarantine started and.

Until the quarantine officially ends the clock is suspended. I. e. You March 15th entry means you only used 10 days (I don't remember the exact start date of the quarantine but it was around March 25th) it has been extended several times. So until it ends the clock is shut down. You obviously can stay through the rest of this year. And then in 2021 you get a new 180 days..

Look at the number of "beans" they have. If it's over 2,000 just scroll on. Ideally you'll find one with under 10 beans. Chat nice with them. Let them know you're familiar with Medellin. Maybe mention some restaurants or night clubs. Give some gifts, enough to get their attention. Send them a private message. You can do that by clicking on their name, then click on chat. Say a few nice things, throw out your WhatsApp in case they want to talk. You may have to chat more before they'll move to WhatsApp.

Once you have their WhatsApp, it's up to you to figure out if they're a pro or non-pro.

Maybe it was different when you did it but after a half hour of just blindly scrolling I only saw two girls who fit your criteria. Compared to the ease of assembling a facebook list of amigas Bigo seems like 50 times the effort for a fraction of the results.

And if I can get my old man rant on, is this what people like to watch? Girls swaying their bodies to popular tunes while a cacophony of annoying chimes and animated gifs get vomited all over the screen?

Anyone else using Seeking?

I have been having some annoying issues. Sometimes when I click back, it logs out. Sometimes when I click a profile, it says there is no profile, but if I click enter in the address bar, it works. It doesn't load or update the search / message lists properly.

I think I had an issue months ago because I was using a VPN, then wasn't, or vice versa. Not sure what is going on now.

A girl that was in Medellin my last trip just returned from her city, yesterday. She had fallen in love with me in December (take that with a grain of salt, obviously), but I wasn't paying, and we stayed in contact after I left. Afraid to go out with this lock down. I see police pass by the end of the street or past me about every 25 minutes which turn into every 15 minutes if I am walking around. Standing outside my hotel watching the people. Just a few people out going to the mini convenience store or drug store at the end of the block and the homeless people. I did not have a girl so I gave my money to a girl selling suckers. She was around 23. Her leg was horribly burned. I had to give her the $55,000 ($15 USD) in my pocket. She got to me.

Hi gentlemen,

I've been in Medellin since March 15th. How long can I avoid going back to the US?

It's understood that the offices which handled extending the "tourist visa" are not doing anything for a while.

But my 6 month anniversary is in a month. If the airports re-open by September 1st, I would have no legitimate reason to prolong my stay.

It might be safe to just get back to the States and wait for next year so that my 180 days renews.

Any thoughts?

As to the international airport opening on September 1st. Well that was the announcement from the Minister of Transportation but clearly the steep increase in case count will almost certainly alter that schedule.

You'll see. If you are registered with the US State Department you will get notices for humanitarian flights from Medellin if you really want to get back to the US.

No thoughts needed. You only need to go by what the Colombian government tells you they will allow. Keep your eyes open for information from them. These are not normal times. They will probably give you some kind of amnesty period. Just because the airport is open, does not mean there will be flights to where are from. They understand this.

I bought a SPIRIT ticket back in late May. I have just been re-scheduling it for later dates as flights become available.

I am in NO rush whatsoever to leave the country. I just worry about the repercussions of of overstaying.

Eventually, I know I have to go back and face the reality of reality back home, but for now, I'm grateful for my time here.
