What is the consensus of when we can plan on returning? The airport reopening and unrestricted (I. E. No 14 day quarantines) visits?

Supposedly they will begin allowing international flights again on Sept 1, but they've already moved the date back several times now and even if it's correct this time there's no guarantee they'll permit flights from the US, due to its current status as a viral hotzone. I definitely wouldn't be booking hotels and making travel arrangements until it's absolutely certain.

Absolutely. I'm not suggesting anyone drop everything and go rush off to the livestreams and hope to score. For almost everyone it will be a waste of time and money.

However, millions of people are using the livestream apps. There are dozens out there and more every day. Some people enjoy it. If they're going to try, my method may help.

There are guys who think making 5 laps around El Centro looking for a date is a waste of time. There are guys who think visiting 3 strip clubs or 5 casas looking for a date is a waste of time. There are guys who think Facebook is a waste of time. No matter what, someone is going to tell you it's a waste of time.

My focus has been non-pros and I've been successful. I've got 5, all friends, all university students, all 19+22, all middle class. There's a sixth one, but she tried to scam me.

Zombies is one way to put it. I've been traveling to Colombia since 2014. And one of my friends, who moved to MDE permanently would always say the women in Colombia had pea brains.

Yes they are all into creating, editing, watching these stupid time wasting apps like tictoc and bigo and about a dozen others, what a waste of a life.

Case in point is my 18 yo Vennie who I accepted in to my apartment to help her out in mid March when the quarantine was to last for 3 weeks, it seams like a lifetime ago, well now over 4 months later and she is, I shit you not, on those apps at least 15 hours each day, every day, I just shrug my head, she is literally zoned into that shit, lost like a zombie in another world.

The total is all stupid stuff with lip syncing to a song or just blable blable blable, yes it can be very irritating when she has the volume up just a bit. Then she will spend 6 to 8 hours making her own 15 second clip, then another, and another, never ending.

It's sad that so many of these young women have no intellectual capacity or desire to learn something or study. So I can see it's frustrating for you having a live-in that's spaced out all day. So that's the bad part of the arrangement.

However the good part is when you have morning wood, or "ganas" any time of day, you don't have to go far. So I would think this would outweigh your frustrations with her if she doesn't cost anything to have around except feeding her, and you can come and go as you please and bang other Chicas with no drama.

You don't have to do anything. You don't have to give anyone anything. There's nobody suggesting you should go there. It's simply a currently popular app.

Bigo and Tik Tok aren't really comparable. Tik Tok is a video sharing app. Bigo is a livestreaming app. Both are entertainment services, but not really the same thing.

You should be interested in these apps, because they are changing things. Tik Tok is being used to coordinate political activism, and because it's mostly kids, it's flying under the radar. With it's popularity it may well become a major factor in world politics.

Bigo is a money making opportunity for a lot of young women and it is currently ridiculously popular in Colombia. There are many different agencies recruiting girls to work on Bigo. They have an advantage over the webcam apps. No special equipment is required. There's no nudity, so there's no risk to the reputation. One of the girls recently sent me her pay schedule. The models collect "beans" (I don't know why beans, instead of coins or diamonds). Each "gift" has a bean value.

If she collects 30,000 beans in a month she receives 1. 5 million pesos. 60,000 = 3 million pesos. 100,000 = 5 million pesos.

Earning 30,000 the first month is hard. Earning 60,000 the 2nd month is hard. However, if she sticks with it 3 months 100,000 becomes fairly easy..

A lot of the working girls are trying it right now. They don't have customers and they need the money. The ones who get up to 5 million a month and more aren't likely to want to handle old gringo dick for 50 k.

I have, in my time, mongered throughout the world principally in Asia and South America. I still have fond memories of Medellin, staying in Poblado but mongering in Mayorista and occasionally around Plaza Botero / Vera Cruz.

My question is am I too late at 73 to monger in Medellin. Libido is high but body is weaker. Any insight would be appreciated.

You say your body is weak. Well if possible get in shape. Losing weight gives you so much more energy. In the last three years I went from 220 lbs to I'm now at 158 lbs. If you are over weight it is the worst when it comes to what you want to do.

You say you were a fan of Mayorista. I bet I saw you there years ago. I would spend most of my time there 10 years ago. It was a picnic then. Not anymore sadly.

Consider staying in Laureles to avoid the hills of Poblado. There are many sources of girls who are more than happy to come to you. If the desire is still there, you're not too old.
