Posts: 309Wow. Thanks for the support. Radio silence didn't last long haha.
I really was going to just go offline. I don't have anything to gain by posting to be honest, but thinking back this forum has helped me through my many mongering adventures and I believe I have done my fair share of giving back. I had a fat ass guayabo (hangover) by mixing whisky and guaro, so dumb of me, but I drank like I didn't care hehe. The home made sancocho simmered over that big ass pot cooked over fire wood was among the best hangover cure I've ever had. I got seconds, had no shame. Home cooked meals just taste and feel a whole new level. We did the vaca thing where we chipped in for the food and liquor. As a chino and guest, I put in more than my share as a thank you for the invite.
I do like MojoBandit's idea by calling it the northern suburb. You guys can have the south and please stay there. The north is a bit dangerous hehe. Anyways, once a member looks at my post history, it's a dead giveaway. Maybe I can create a brand new handle and start over. Seriously, no offense I want the town I'm at to be a no go zone for gringos. I already said too much. Cheers from the north suburb!

Gentleman,
I'm hoping someone can put me in the right ballpark of drink prices at Gustos. My first and only trip to Colombia was focused on Gustos. I enjoyed my time there. Yes, it was very expensive, compared to local prices. But I enjoyed my time. In fact, I think I spent more on drinks than chicas. But, for the life of me, I don't remember the price of chica drinks. I'm trying to gameplan for my trip in less than two weeks. What worked for me was having my own personal party in Gustos and then perusing Lleras and I found some cuties there.
So, just curious what the prices are to buy your favorite chica a drink or two. (Not interested in bottle service!) And if you know the going rate on party favors, let me know if it is advisable to shop in Gustos or not via PM. (On my last visit, I was a bit too unfamiliar with the place to cross that bridge.).

Posts: 3801Christmas Day Pilgrimage To Ground Zero
Being in Medellin for the first time during the Holidays I decided after my night in Poblado, that I needed to see what ground zero would be like on Christmas afternoon. I got on the METRO in Poblado, and after departing the Industralies Station, it seemed pretty deserted in Centro as the streets were empty in Alpujarra and upon arriving at the Parque Berrio Station, and walking down the stairs, there was a fair amount of people out to my surprise.
I estimate that about 25% of the businesses were open, and on the backside of the Church about a third of the bars were open, albeit not a lot of girls out. I also went down to see what was happening on Avenida de la Grief, and literally none of the bars were open, and there were more people shooting up along the street then girls walking around that area.
When I decided to visit Centro on Christmas afternoon, I envisioned it would be way more subdued than it was, and wasn't envisioning doing a girl, yet thought if one of my spinners was out I might.
And low and behold, one of my spinners named Tatina was out, and I took her upstairs for a rato.
And after about 45 minutes I didn't think I was going to finish, but finally popped to her and my relief.
My saddlebags were literally on empty when I left Poblado in the morning, and I recharged enough to get two loads off on Christmas Day!
Just another day in Paradise.

Posts: 586I think you are referring to Ale Ale Perez (whatever else his name is). I did not realize he got only six months. From what I was told he was living the good life in prison and even had a new boyfriend. Geez. If he's out and back doing this again, I hope he gets it hard next time.

As far as EAFIT being a good fit for this poster, that's the wild card. As you well know it's pretty regimented at EAFIT, and may not work for this poster.
