Right now many people are hurting for money and that shadows moral character. Maybe once the Covid subsides these incidents will also fade.

El Centro in the daytime? Seriously! In the past it been a bit rough, but I can tell you that its one of the safest places there is in MDE. Police everywhere, families on vacation taking pictures everywhere and yes beauties to be had everywhere. I have never heard of anyone getting robbed or stabbed or anything like that near 52 and 52.

Two men approached me and demanded money, one displayed a knife and then they immediately went hands-on. We were in a scuffle. Nobody around made a peep. Can't blame them for not intervening when a stranger is attacked by someone with a knife.

I did break free and got away, scratched up but otherwise ok.

I speak Spanish and informed the police there in the plaza, but they gave ZERO fucks.

I remember seeing posts somewhere about customs looking at your phone for some sort of "evidence" of miss behaving. So I have furry handcuffs, negligees, bondage restraints and a ton of lube & condoms. Hey a man needs to be prepared. So what if anything do I need to worry about with some baggage inspector? USA or Colombia? I'm guessing only the furry handcuffs and the restraints might get them asking questions. I could buy them in Colombia instead if need be. Anyone have experiences?

Oddly enough I was just watching an episode of 'To Catch A Smuggler" where a man was coming back from Colombia and was held up by customs. This guy had everything on him from masks to rubber tarps. They checked all his photos / footage and hard drives looking for things like child pornography and what not. Participating in sex tourism while overseas is not illegal so long as you aren't bringing anything like underage footage back into the country. You will be fine with the toys.

I've been to El Centro and I wouldn't go back during the daytime much less at night time you just asking to get robbed if you go there even the local say so now you going to have some argument from some of the veteran mongers who know the way around but if you're a newbie forget it.

The question isn't whether it's safe to walk around El Centro at night. The real question is why would anyone want to walk around El Centro at night? Most of the places are closed after about 8 pm. The only street girls out after 8 pm are generally not the cream of the crop. So with the exception of a few areas, you're just walking around dark and deserted streets. What's the purpose?

There are the bars and strip clubs north of Plaza Botero between DeGreif and the Metro. There's Barro Ejecutivo. There's Mercado de la Playa and a few open restaurants and that's about it. If someone is interested in going to one of those areas, then go there. There's nothing to be gained from just walking around randomly in El Centro at night.

Why do some people need to be different? There are enough girls in the day, no need to increase your risk.

Once you leave that area things can be a bid dicey once you head up to Prado at night time. .

The Bronx are only for the brave that don't mind police attention.

Even the bar street is safe. You just need to be aware of pick pockets. Its so simple, a girl comes up to you and grabs your dick with one hand and tries to go in your pocket with the other. I dont much hang on that part of el centro, but for those that have never been pocketed, beware! Its also so simple for the newbie. Those wanna be pick pockets stay to once corner. Once you know their tricks, its all cool. Keep your hands near your pockets.

As for the bus ride. Yea same thing happened to me but it all ended up good. I got off near that all night restaurant and now have to look for that brothel. I thought I knew the place well. Guess not well enough.

The strip of clubs and bars on the mian road in front of Botero is fine. There are generally lots of people around. Also Mercado de La Playa is safe and enjoyable at night.

Now that you put it in those terms I am team bus forever! LOL! I can drop two low end loads for the savings of bus transport. But seriously, there is a lot to be said for a no waiting, no hassle door to door transfer.

I don't know about most members here, but when I arrive in town, the last thing I want to do is mess around taking the bus, sharing a ride in a collectivo, and having to transfer to a taxi or bus to get where I'm going. When I arrive, I always grab a white taxi at the airport which costs 90 K which includes the tunnel peaje.

And yes, I know that for 20 K or less, I could get to my destination, but typically when I arrive I've been on a red-eye, and just don't wan to deal with much. And yes, I know that the 70 K savings could cover two low budget fugly fucks in Centro.

Santa Fe is opposite of El Centro at night. Santa Fe becomes alive at night, meaning bars / restaurants, nightclubs, strip clubs, and tons of people walking around and hanging out and even police, but El Centro is dead at night, bars and restaurants are dead, some strip clubs still open but they're spaced out, meaning you ware walking around empty streets with no police present. There are some people out at night in El Centro, but not the ones you want to hang around with.

So, I started messaging the girls on both Latin American Cupid and Colombia Cupid about seven weeks ago.
