I'm reconsidering going to Colombia based on your post.

I have this stupid thought that me and a chica could hang out and trust each other.

I would never steal from anyone that's just not how I roll.

These chicas and gangs are going to scope the wrong gringo one day and it's going to be ugly.

I just don't understand why the need to scope me. Shit I will make it worth their while and come back with friends. It just seems bad for business.

They don't know what you will do in the future. That is the other side of the coin. If they had money for every client / gringo / whatever you want to call them, that promised love forever they could retire. But we, and I speak from experience, get enamored and may even intend to love some of these girls forever, but it just doesn't work out.

Anyway, the future doesn't count with them. It is now and only now.

I'm amazed she hasn't raised her prices even. In 2015 I think I paid 130 K to fuck her. Hell I remember when her stomach had some baby damage and she got the surgery to fix it. She always looks amazing and is the #1 prepay to see in this city hands down.

Back to everybodys fave subject. I am flying in to mde from pty with a 11:44 am departure, a connection from the usa. When is the earliest time I can do the check mig? 48 hrs before? 24 hrs before? Does it matter when my 1st flight leaves the usa? Gracias amigos.

You can register anytime during the two calendar days prior to your departure from Panama, and the day of your departure. The web site says 72 hours before departure, but that isn't correct. In your case, it's approximately 59 hours. The time your flight leaves the USA doesn't matter. When filling out the form, be sure to use the flight number from Panama (probably 502), not from the USA. Select Medellin, Jose Maria Cordova Airport as the city of entry. The country of origin is Estados Unidos. On the second page, it asks if you have a visa for Colombia. Answer "No". Select "Turism" as the reason for entry. I haven't had a problem filling out the form since it was implemented, but others have reported problems.

Don't be too critical. He is aware of the risks. He has some girls he has known for a while, and considers them friends and trusts them.

I think the main take-away is that if you are visiting, you simply don't expose yourself by having drinks with the girl in your room. Maybe if you have an on-going friendship with a girl you can get to a place of trust but the idea is not to be naive about it.

They can't just leave the casa, they have to stay until the end of their shift. You could potentially leave with the strip-club girl but then security is your responsibility, just session on site so you don't have to worry about it. Establishments know the girls real names and addresses, so it's risky for girls to play bad (unlike a rando from tinder, fb or a street).

You sound like the guy Dublin12 in the Cartagena thread some time ago that swore if he paid a chick good she would stay with him an entire week and he would have no problems. Because like you said, why would they do that? He had mongered other places and he had big dreams of Colombia being the same way (as you are imagining.) he refused to listen to us tell him to leave his westernized thinking back home. Well he got there and got ripped off damn near as soon as he landed and learned the hard way. I think he had to get his wife to wire him some money and he said he would never set foot in Colombia again. It was his own fault for thinking he knew how things work in a place he had never been.

Those places do not work like that. I guess you need to go to see. Everyone would wonder where she is going and especially where she is going with the customer. Usually in a casa you are in a front room and girls will come out one by one to introduce themselves. The manager of the place is right there. Then at the end of the presentation, you tell the manager which one you want then you go back to the room. When you finish you pay and leave and she takes a shower or whatever and goes back with her coworkers. So in a casa a chick is never going to be walking out the same time as the customer.

A strip club is pretty much the same. A chick is not going to change out of her bikini and be walking outside in regular clothes with a customer unless you had paid the place an exorbitant amount for her to leave with you.

A girl I knew and thought was my friend spent months messaging me thru whatsapp only to try to scope me in my own fucking house on the very first day of my arrival on my last trip.

You don't know who you are dealing with even if you think that you know them. And letting your guard down because they tell you that you are safe with them or because they fuxk you sin condon bro you are fucking delusional. My best advice to you is to keep a set of rules that make it so you can't be scoped and never break those rules regardless of who you are with even if it's a chick you have known for 20 years.

Thank God that in my case I noticed the attempted scoping and foiled it, but the ***** still managed to steal some of my electronics.

I seriously doubt that after months she can remember the pathways and staircases thru my barrio how to get to my house but it still, to this day, bothers me that someone I believed I could trust would attempt to do this to me.

Anyways since the incident I became more selective of whom I invite over and I implement various rules to prevent scoping even being a possibility and sometimes I even set traps to see if they will fall for them or not.

Anyways you can believe whatever you want to believe but I think scoping is very common especially in medellin more so than in Bogota or cucuta or other cities and you need to be on the defense especially if you bring them back to your place.

Did she also steal your brand new shower head and a saw? LOL. You brought her over to your place, which has no security / reception / cameras, but has a bunch of electronics, what did you expect? I have said this before, if you come to Medellin, pay a bit more for a decent place with security and strict visitor policy, and you will be just fine.

You can do it 3 days prior. Everything I've read is it's best to do it 24 hours prior. See all the threads on the Check Mig in the past 60 days. Some people have zero issues. I had major issues because I never received the email. Looking forward I'm just using I Visa. Good luck!

Be sure to get your passport number correct, something I fucked up on and gave me issues in Bogota.

Take a screen shot of your completed mig form, print the screenshot out. Make at least 2 copies, along with copies of your passport. Don't expect check-mig to e-mail you even though it says it does. Take copies with you to Colombia and you will be good.
