I used to fly to Colombia for the weekend. Maybe arrive Thursday evening or Friday morning depending on flights and prices. Fly out Sunday or Monday. Now we have to pay $250 to $400 depending where you go to have the PCR test next day I have to go and stay a while for it to be worth it.

In all my travels throughout the world Colombia is the only country in which I see No sex tourism signs in hotel rooms and elsewhere.

I've only seen that in Medellin. Other cities I have not seen those signs.

My friend stayed at Factory Lofts (Laureles). He should have never stayed there. They have a nice rooftop bar but you cannot even invite your male friends for beers.

If you rent a place that specifically states "no sexual tourism", why would you think it's just a doorman problem when you try to bring in an obvious prostitute? If you went to a vegan restaurant and they don't have steak on the menu would you suspect the waiter of trying to ruin your meal?

There's no asterisk under any of the "no sex tourism" signs or listings (*this applies to everyone but you). If you're bringing in hookers anyway, I expect you will very shortly be looking for another place to stay and you probably won't be getting a refund since you violated the host rules. My suggestion is to start looking for another place immediately, because the portero has probably already informed your host.

All the decent ones I spoke to want 200-250 K for each hour, 400 for 2 hours. Maybe your negotiation skills are better than mine.

Landed in Medellin after an 8 month break, stayed close to lleras. Most of the restaurants close to calle 40 survived and are thriving, the once interior specially calle 37 was devastated with lots of closures. It is a mixed bag, Provenza is wide open, so is the front section of lleras. Gustos is open with 50 girls and 50 guys, lots of WG in lleras park walking as usual looking for clients. I would say lleras is at 75 percent of 2019 activity. Girls are still 150,000 peso I. E 39 USD, very cheap, perfect combination of beauty, sex, service, and ease of finding. Nothing can beat Medellin.

I call my regular girls from my Whatsup list and had a blast as usual, I was glad to see them so were they.

Night clubs are still closed, but I have seen a lot of construction activity during day, I guess they are getting ready to open.

Been to Envigado for Lunch and most restaurants are open, they check temp, spray your shoe, give you the gel. Everyone has a mask on, weird but the new normal I guess.

Let us hope Covid is behind us.

Ibiza is the upper end in price. There are many, many others. They may even work for you when you have an unfilled of 1-3 night gap in your living accommodations. Mid-week they are extremely affordable. Hot water showers, jacuzzi if you wish. Anything can be delivered by the hotel or Rappi. Years ago I stayed in one in Barranquilla for several nights. Cheap with vital Air Conditioning! Drawbacks: Typically no windows, no WiFi, not a good place if you're going to be in all day. You might even meet some ladies hanging around. Be very discrete and respect the privacy and anonymity of couples.

There are some very basic rooms in Mayorista, last time I walked through, 3 hours for 17 k. Some in El Centro are 40 k for 4 hours. There are quite a few throughout the city. Your chicas probably know where to find one.

BTW, Ibiza has excellent WiFi. I've set up a few webcam shows from there with no problems.

Same day test results in Southern California are running from between $275 to $400 for the PCR test. If they take the sample at 8 AM they have results that afternoon. Not cheap and I guess it's good Colombia is allowing a 96 hour window versus 72 hours like other Countries.

Took the girls to Motel Ibiza on Friday night. It was my first time at a love motel in Medellin.

DiDi to the location, intercom to request a room (Presidencial), DiDi drives into your private garage, you walk upstairs, and.

2 beds, 10 person jacuzzi, bluetooth speakers throughout with a microphone, stripper pole, couches, 2 showers, 2 bathrooms, 2 tvs, 2 refrigerators full of anything you could possibly need (booze, drinks, food, vibrators, lube, condoms, and much much more). Menu for food, drinks, costumes / lingerie, etc. Our jacuzzi had an issue for the first hour, but after several calls they got it working. We also called to turn on the A / see and also to add some cold water to the 105 degree monstrous jacuzzi. We brought a bag of drinks but ended up having a few from the fridge, and bought a vibrator. 6 hours in total, bill was about 550.000 COP. They have much cheaper options, as well as shorter periods of time.

All-in-all, it was a good option. Especially, if you can't find an apartment with a jacuzzi, or you are priced out of options. Every girl I talked to about joining us already knew about the place. In normal times, I would imagine a night out in Palmahia with a group, followed by spending your night at Motel Ibiza or the like, would be a fun way to spend the night. A couple buddies with 4 girls could be one hell of a night.

Also, I extended my tourist permit until mid-December. The process was excruciating, because of how terrible the website was, but the eventual cost was 103.000 COP. My plan is to go home and come back in early January. Found a very nice apartment for Nov-Dec, but I have a week gap before then. I am looking into a finca to host a Halloween party, maybe. I'm just not sure if I want to commit to stocking up on groceries for the week, etc.

Members beware to check hotel rules and buildings security front desk polity. Ask your AirBnb host about these rules upfront, to avoid any surprises. This new two visitor policy per stay is VERY annoying, it has to do with COVID or not sure what else. Also, AirBnb options are quite limited, for some reason.
