Hey everyone, I'm on day two of my first trip to Medellin. I'm staying in Laureles in the San Peter building which I really like and the staff has been great. Because of the rain I haven't done much exploring outside of this area and have been meeting FB and tinder girls, and have been paying between 150-200 mil. Don't worry about inflating prices. Unless you Do 15 Centro girls and 12 Parque Lleras girls in the next 2 days, you won't even be a blip on the radar.

For El Centro you shouldn't have to go over 30 k plus 10 k for the room. For Parque Lleras, if you're patient, you should be able to get them into the 200 k range.

I know your a little bit gun shy after what you have been thru, and apparently building admon is a little nervous hence the temperature checks and paper signing. El Centro pricing at times can be like buying a car, there will be a sticker price and then a final negotiated price depending on exactly what your looking for. Retail pricing is no more than 30 K in El Centro and can be had for less depending on your Spanish. And don't worry about inflating prices in El Centro as the client base is primarily locals. Okay, here's the blow by blow report from Energy.

First thing in the door madam sprays your hands with hand sanitizer and sprays some in the direction of your feet, then takes your temperature. Probably had my temperature checked 15 times yesterday. I'm glad they're not using rectal thermometers.

Energy is somewhat of a tradition for me. I have to do it once a trip. The waiting areas have every other seat blocked off and there was 1 guy waiting for a lineup. Added a new account at Navy Federal Credit Union last year, because my fifth third account was ringing me for about 7% on Colombian ATM withdrawals.

It's good and bad.

The good, I've made 2 withdrawals from different banks and I'm only getting a 1.3% charge off the current rate.

The bad, with fifth third my max withdrawal from Davivienda was 2 million pesos. With Navy Federal my max is 400 k. My max at BBVA is 300 k. Never used them before, so no comparison.

I'll try Bancolombia and Scotiabank Colpatria to find out my max and the rate.

Scotia bank is the way to go, they typically have better rates then Bancolombia and I think you can withdraw up to 900 K three times for a maximum for 2,700,000 a day.
