Okay yes, It can be an hour it can be 4 days buts it's not guaranteed. Also you mentioned you got back from Brazil you didn't need the results in a particular time frame. If you pay to expedited you are guaranteed the results in a particular time frame, which is good for someone with a flight to catch. Just because you got them in an hour does not mean that someone else will get them in an hour. It could be 3 days.

At how many Americans come to Colombia to be have their freedoms limited. You are staying in Poblado and you are paying three times to five times to going rate for rent. Why would you allow anyone to tell you what you can or cannot do in an apartment that you are paying that much for? Maybe that's just acceptable for some of you guys, not me. I refuse to be anywhere that my freedoms are limited. Mongering is legal in Colombia, it may not be tolerated as much in Poblado, but I refuse to pay 5 times the going rate to be told who I can bring and cannot bring into my apartment. I am leaving soon, but what I have established is this, next year I will have a rental history, proof that I have rented an apartment in Medellin for the past year and that will give me the going rate for anywhere I want to live in Medellin. Everyone has their own preference, but don't come to board complaining about rules that you freely accept. The sooner that you put a demand on your money the sooner you will have freedoms about the places that you rent. Pollo Negro is out!

Depends on where you are. Free tests are available, with insurance some places with 48 hour results. Other places free, but 72 hours or longer for results, not counting weekends. There's a place in Fort Lauderdale with 24 hour results for $179. They don't accept any insurance. With my schedule that seems to be my best option. Fly into Miami Friday, get the test first thing Monday then fly on to Medellin Tuesday.

My insurance paid for PCR and usual deductible applies, I traveled 4 times and they paid for all the tests.

I read that free tests are available. I guess the problem is the turnaround time but I am still getting e-mails from the airlines that tell me there are no change fees if you need to postpone a flight reservation.

Venezuela can not even provide itself with electricity and internet.

This seems to be common in Venezuela, even before the virus.

I used to have an online teacher and I had to stop lessons with her because half of the time, she didn't have any electricity and internet.

The situation is quite sad in that country.
