To be honest, we could not call Colombians dumb because of Ley Seca and the (for me) inexplicable relation they establish between having elections and forbidding a beer with a burger.

In USA, the superdeveloped and most advanced World, they ask me to show a picture ID in the restaurants of airports (proven in JFK and ATL) if I want a beer to accompany a burger. Please note:
1) I am 50+ and it's been a long time that anyone does not take me as teen (except in USA).
2) In airports, there are no UMs going around alone without staff.

In this interesting country, for a teen it seems more difficult to have a beer than a gun at school. (Sadly).

Because of Ley Seca, there were not many options available yesterday night.

I was in the mood of doing something different, so I went to Dreams SW, that is one of the very few swinger clubs in Medellin. Those who are used to these places in Europe (big cities can have 50+ clubs, from small to big ones with even 200+ persons inside on a weekend night) will find the place very disappointing, but I like the underground atmosphere of the small place with naughty Colombians.

Only couples admitted on Saturday, but the "receptionist" called a girl to accompany me (200 k). She was so nice! I did not expect such a nice person. To be honest, I was prepared to greet some ultra hard-core pro, someone you would not like to take out to dinner because of the public shame, but she was really a nice girl. She works there (dance etc.) and she is anything but a beginner on the scene, but she really behaved as she was my girlfriend. Intelligent in understanding what to do and what to not do, sensitive, and of course without inhibitions.

There were about 7-8 couples, some genuine some others like us. Some very nice girls and guys, mixed with ugly and average. Yes, normal people. We worked hard to corrupt a girl with her man, who looked very skeptical and not really involved in the game. After two hours, drinks and light teasing on the couch, I saw her in a group of 6, where she and the other two girls were finding the way to masturbate each other (please note: 6 hands for 3 pussies, do the math). Mission accomplished.

Why the Hell South American countries should close bars and forbid alcohol for 1+ day (3 days in Ecuador), because the day after there are elections, is out of my understanding, but that's out of topic. And not only alcohol. Today I missed the ride on bicycle on the Av. Poblado that I have been looking forward for a long time, because ALSO the Ciclovia is banned by elections. WTF!

By the way, I hit with surgical precision both dates of elections. At the end of May I was in Cartagena, and it has been the most lonely Saturday I ever remember there (just few desperate ugly girls at Reloy). Today, I am here in Medellin. I did not have the freedom to choose the dates of my travels, but I precisely hit both elections.

At NAME-REMOVED (Steak House on Av. De Las Palmas, I don't want to put the restaurant in trouble), I wanted a beer to accompany the steak, and two very embarrassed waiters had to tell me that no beer was allowed because of the Ley Seca. Then what, I replied?
- We can serve only soft drinks, wine and sangria.
- WTF! Isn't wine an alcoholic drink?
- Yes, but the Gerente decided that. No beer, only wine.
- This is not logical! Can I have beer then?
- If you want, we have Aguila Zero, with no alcohol.
- NO! Do you have Wine Zero, without alcohol?
- Not really. Sorry, this is not our fault. It's the Gerente. We can serve you wine, but not beer.
- Well, I am going to call Police, reporting that here they serve ILLEGAL drinks! Wine is not allowed, as well as beer.

I said that laughing, but the response was immediate:
- OW NO! We will give you a beer, but in glass without bottle!

The steak was very good, the beer cold, the service excellent, the waiters so nice with me. What to ask more?

Believe it or not, in maybe 10 years I have been going to Medellin (sparsely say from multiple visits in one year to 2 years without going) FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME I went looking Hotel M (a.k.a. Mansion) from outside. I was sipping my coffee at Juan Valdez and I found out by chance that the most famous place in ISG was just one block from me, besides having a Pokemon Go gym almost right in front (it could be a plus for someone). So, I thought why not to go there and see it, at long last?

Yes, it looks a very good place! :p

I also understood that all the gringoes that I see at Juan Valdez, in particular those showing the photo of the drink they want to order on their cell phone, because they seem unable to order it in the standard way, come straight from there. Today I have seen at least two of them (two very nice and well-mannered guys, I must say) sipping their coffee and then going back to their place up the street. Hello, if you read this! :)

I am planning on taking a trip out there in either late October or early November. With this in mind I started a mongering FB profile. I want to thank Tasss who wrote a great report on how to do that way back in December of last year. In case anyone wants to look at it it's report #24342. (sorry don't really know how to link it).

So if you follow his advice it is super easy to build up a great friend network. In about 2 weeks I am currently at 95 friends and counting. Obviously not everyone will respond but as Tasss said once you have a few they start pouring in. Once the friends start coming in girls will start waving Hello, at you on messenger. You also will get talk on messenger from your comments that you place on their pictures or stories. All of them had said they will see me when I come down. As was mentioned it will help you build your friend network to also friend a couple of like minded guys. I did have a weird thing come up though. I am glad you posted this. I have booked the same apartment building for my next trip in a couple of weeks. I typically stay in Poblado, but wanted a change of scenery. I'm always nervous about trying a new place, but this seems like a good choice.

My first trip to Medellin I stayed in Poblado because I heard all the action was centered around Parque Lleras. Ironically, I never picked up a streetwalker there and have exclusively used casas, escorts, and girls I met on social media. I'ts good place for beginners, relatively safe and touristy, but after awhile like you said one starts to crave a change of scenery. Laureles and Envigado are good neighborhoods I've tried out, both upscale and centrally located so you pay less on taxis taking girls to and from your bachelor pad.

I've been to this high end casa like 5 years ago and even though I didn't partake, the classy and elegant atmosphere was eye opening for me as a newbie. I'm taking a friend of mine who's never been to MDE to check out the place for nostalgia purposes, I think they moved location and it's a tough spot to locate if I remember correctly. Does anyone have the current address of this place? Thanks!

San Peter apartment suites on Calle 41 a, they are listed on a number of sites but I booked them through airbnb. They have a front desk like a hotel and will check the ID of every girl you bring back but they are girl friendly. While I was there I saw a handful of older unattractive dudes entering and leaving with girls far more younger and prettier (one looked like he was 70 and had a 20-year-old as arm candy! Their suites are pretty spacious and come with air conditioning and a fully stocked kitchen. Only downside was that sitting adjacent to Car. 70 there's a lot of city noise.

As an added bonus, their in-house restaurant makes a pretty decent burger, and you can even get it delivered to your door.

I've never used skokka but I've gotten successful hookups using photoprepagos.com and mileroticos.com. There's definitely fakes and photoshops but you can usually weed them out if you use common sense. Try googling their phone number. If they've been around awhile oftentimes you'll find a post on a review website where someone tried them out. If you find more of their ads see if their photos are consistent. You can also run their photos through tineye.com and yandex. Ru and see what turns up. Only interact with girls that use Whatsapp. From my experience girls without it never respond to texts. Above all use your brain--if she looks like a supermodel and has a series of professionally produced photos there's no way in hell anyone of that caliber would polish your knob for a measly 50 k.
