I know what you mean. I weighed the personal pros and cons and I don't regret my decision at all. Things were slow a month or so ago and I got really tired of my own cooking and impatient with my reduced rotation of companions but that's all behind us now.

If I had a crystal ball back in the end of February when I'm still in Medellin that tells me about this lockdown, I would have stayed. Instead of having the most miserable time of my life, I would be living in heaven right now.

That is an excellent point about New Life. I had not considered that, probably because New Life has been out of my rotation for years. It might be as you say worth another look now that it's unlikely the place will be bursting at the seams with frat bro groups like the last time I was in there.

Good to know. It has been raining the last couple of days so I haven't been out much, but I have cruised through Botero a few times the last couple of weeks so maybe I'll walk around next time I'm in El Centro to see what's open. Might be a good time to check out New Life when it opens since the boarders are closed.

Maybe not, but how many chicas do you know in Medellin who do things that make sense. Of course, this was about 6 years ago. The chica was not going to the bar, she was hanging out by the pool and was very popular with the gringos. The male demographics at the Mansion, at least when I used to go (been 3 years now since I stepped into the place) were varied. Young to old. She did look good and had a great body. Who knows? And keep in mind that many Colombian chicas want nothing to do with Colombianos.

This makes no sense. If she doesn't need the money, why not just go to a better club in Lleras? The bar in the mansion is no comparison to octava, donde chepe, midnight. Etc, in fact the mansion's decor, facility, and location is infinitely worse. The male demographics there is not very physically appealing, to put it lightly. Why would a rich local girl go to the mansion to look for sex? If she look good enough to get picked in the mansion, she can easily find good looking, locals in octava.

Like the quote from the final scene in the 1990 movie Havana starring Robert Redford, when it became clear the Castro led revolution would end mob control of the vice industry. "next we can go to Santo Domingo". That movie was made in Santo Domingo. I happened to be staying at the Jaragua for a business trip during the filming. I still have photos of all the vintage cars the producers kept in the hotel's parking lot. I bring up Santo Domingo because it tentatively scheduled international flights to resume in July. Of course the Dominican Republic depends much more heavily on tourism than Colombia so it's understandable they would want to fast track resumption.

If the USA is initially banned entry into Colombia when they open up, an American Passport will raise a red flag regardless of the Country the passenger is coming from. So as an example, if the entry requirements prohibit anyone who has been in the USA in the last 30 days, then I guess you could go to Canada for a month. But more importantly, lets say Colombia is opened to all, but with a testing requirement and a 14 day quarantine. This basically will be a no go for tourism as most tourists / mongers aren't going to have that amount of time.

If Colombia were to allow entry just based on being tested negative, then the flood gates will be opened, and the planes will be full of mongers. However Colombia currently, with the extension of what I would call a very loose "lock-down" until July, has surpassed all other Countries on the planet for lockdown duration length. I suspect the entry requirements when they open up, of which they have three months to figure out will be strict, not like some of the European Countries that are opening up for the Summer.

Unfortunately, all we can do is wait and see what they come up with, a lot will be learnt in the next couple of months based on what happens in other Countries.

It is very easy to get a flight into Colombia that does not originate in the US. China and Europe were restricted back in March while there were still flights. Time will tell.

Apologies in advance, I am going to briefly veer off topic somewhat. I ask the members to please pause and give a thought to Mayor Daniel Quintero and his family. Last week his 5 month old daughter underwent a partial liver transplant for which his wife was the donor. The mayor took a three day leave of absence around the 16 hour procedure. Thankfully the child is improving.

Yep almost 4 years ago my ATF paisa wanted to experience it, she just turned 19 and wanted to experience something new and different and exciting, she is very good looking and is now one of the prime Facebook girls, yep I must have trained her right when she was just a naive beauty in the making, heheheh, anyway it was a place down in or around San Diego as I recall, actually a 5 or 6 block drive away from Fase II as I recall now, anyway paid the fee and got inside the club, very non-de-script from the outside and is located in an industrial area, maybe it was an off night, possibly a mid-week night and also the night was still early, so got inside and it was us and another 2 couples, old and unattractive both the men and women, so after about 20 minutes we left.

For what it's worth. Nothing about it has ever been really interesting to me.
