They're just about always in an industrial area. A good club needs a lot of square footage and no noise complaints. She could dance all night, get flirted with by guys 15 years younger and not spend any money. That was an exception. Other than Friday and Saturday night, it's a waste of time.

Swinger's clubs don't really get hopping until 10:30 or later. There are always those who are there when the doors open, but the crowds come later. However, it's a good idea to get in before the crowds to get a good spot.

If you're going alone, to a club that allows single men, expect a sausage fest. There will likely be 10 guys for every woman. I understand that some Colombian clubs bring in hookers to accommodate the single men and the couples who are looking for a third. Medellin being what it is, there's no reason to go alone. Find yourself a bisexual exhibitionist to take.

I also understand that Colombian clubs make you change clothes. They have lockers and I think they require everyone to strip down to no more than underwear. Check with the club.

Every club I've been to followed the same routine. Light music early, there's a buffet or snack table, people starting to filter in. Around 9:30-10:00 music volume goes up, lots of dance music of the Rick James variety. Some time after 10:30, when the dance floor has filled, they'll play 3 slow songs in a row. That finishes with a lot of people heading to the back where the beds and couches are.

My strategy was always to take my girl to the back in the middle of the second slow song and we'd set up in a visible central location and start getting busy. At the end of the third song we'd be surrounded by other couples all watching us. We'd have a lot of options on who we wanted to join us.

In my experience, the party starts winding down between 2 and 3 am, although I've spent the entire night in several places.

So at this time, having a Passport from a Country with a low COVID rate will allow you to travel within certain countries that have established a safe corridor (no quarantine), which at this time include Luxembourg, Norway, Sweden. Slovakia, Austria, Czech Republic, Lativa, Lithuania, and Israel. I believe when Colombia opens back up they will have a list of which Countries will be allowed back in along with what the requirements are. So an example, somebody coming from a Country having a low COVID rate may require nothing to get into one of the Countries I mentioned, versus somebody from the USA requiring testing and being quarantined for 14 days. The Colombian government threw out a date of September 1 and have no idea at this moment what the exact requirements will be, and within the next three months they will figure it out, or extend the date. Again, unless your a spy with multiple Passports your likely going to be grounded and severely restricted to where you can go without being quarantined.

"next we can go to Santo Domingo". That movie was made in Santo Domingo. I happened to be staying at the Jaragua for a business trip during the filming. I still have photos of all the vintage cars the producers kept in the hotel's parking lot. I bring up Santo Domingo because it tentatively scheduled international flights to resume in July. Of course the Dominican Republic depends much more heavily on tourism than Colombia so it's understandable they would want to fast track resumption.

If the USA is initially banned entry into Colombia when they open up, an American Passport will raise a red flag regardless of the Country the passenger is coming from. So as an example, if the entry requirements prohibit anyone who has been in the USA in the last 30 days, then I guess you could go to Canada for a month. But more importantly, lets say Colombia is opened to all, but with a testing requirement and a 14 day quarantine. This basically will be a no go for tourism as most tourists / mongers aren't going to have that amount of time.

If Colombia were to allow entry just based on being tested negative, then the flood gates will be opened, and the planes will be full of mongers. However Colombia currently, with the extension of what I would call a very loose "lock-down" until July, has surpassed all other Countries on the planet for lockdown duration length. I suspect the entry requirements when they open up, of which they have three months to figure out will be strict, not like some of the European Countries that are opening up for the Summer.

Unfortunately, all we can do is wait and see what they come up with, a lot will be learnt in the next couple of months based on what happens in other Countries.

Last week his 5 month old daughter underwent a partial liver transplant for which his wife was the donor. The mayor took a three day leave of absence around the 16 hour procedure.
