Anyone below the 1% lost all of their money as it was in Bolivars not USD which only the rich had access to. The vast majority of the population is much, much worse off. I live in S. Florida where there are plenty of Venezuelans and nearly every one has a story of being robbed or a family member being kidnapped. And these folks were middle class. Caracus is much worse than El Centro Medellin. LOL. No comparison. And at least if you're in Colombia we have diplomatic representation that can help out if something goes sideways. I don't think the USA Has formal representation in Venezuela any longer and you'd need to work through Switzerland or Sweden. Not a fun prospect.

Secondly, what are you going to do for money? Just walk around with USD? I understand they mostly use that now as Bolivars are as worthless as toilet paper, but in a country where the average salary is now $25-$50 A MONTH you'll be mugged pretty quick if they think you have even a weeks wages (I. E. $10).

Last of all, how is your Spanish and with what kind of accent do you speak? If you don't already appear Hispanic they'll likely be able to tell you're not Venezuelan by your accent. If you don't even speak Spanish that's a whole other deal.

I know this appears as fear mongering, but I don't know if you truly understand what you're suggesting.
You know you are correct. I have no idea what I was suggesting since I have never looked in to or knew how much unrest was happening in Venezuela. My Dick was just thinking that since I was with 4 vennies in Medellin and they were all so much fun with enthusiasm I was just thinking of going straight to the source LOL.

I also had no clue that the average wage was $50 usd per month.

That is crazy, one of the Paisa's I was with told me she was a factory worker who made 400,000 mil cop per month. And on my last day in Medellin she messaged me telling me I should lose her number since it was obvious I was in Medellin for the girls. I responded back I wanted to see her but I had only 100,000 Mil Cop left and didn't go to the ATM because I was afraid of getting robbed. She was also one of the girls that she was robbed a few times before and was afraid to take a taxi at night. I told her I was embarrassed and didn't want to offend her by offering her less money. She responded back that she really liked me and the truth is any little bit helps.

Has anyone thought about the finca lifestyle? I started thinking that is pretty attractive to me. Does anyone have any idea what are some good areas to look at that are not too expensive but have good access to chicas?

That being said Venezuela is actually on my bucket list. I visited Venezuela twice before many years ago and they have the hottest and best attitude girls on the planet.

No clue about sound proof windows since I have never stayed at another unit at San Peter besides this one. But to be honest I did not think the noise was an issue at all.

    Yikes nevermind.
Does anyone actually still beleive anything the US Govt says?? Seriously?

Do not travel to the USA due to crime, civil unrest, poor health infrastructure, kidnapping, and the arrest and detention of foreign citizens without due process or fair trial guarantees. Exercise increased caution in the USA due to terrorism.

Violent crimes, such as homicide, armed robbery, kidnapping, and carjacking, are common. Political rallies and demonstrations occur, often with little notice. Demonstrations typically elicit a strong police and security force response that includes the use of tear gas, pepper spray, and rubber bullets against participants, and occasionally devolve into looting and vandalism. United Nations Human Rights Council documented human rights abuses attributed to the Biden regime, including torture, extrajudicial killings, forced disappearances, and detentions without due process and / or fair trial guarantees, or as a pretext for an illegitimate purpose. The DFA issued a Level 3 "Avoid Nonessential Travel" notice on 7 January, 2020, due to inadequate healthcare and the breakdown of the medical infrastructure in the USA.

One girl who agreed to 150,000 MIL COP with 3 leches was actually 1. 5 hours late and did not show up at our agreed upon time. When I messaged her at the time she was supposed to show up in the morning she said something came up with her daughter. Long story short because she was late she agreed to give me an extra leche for the 150,000 MIL COP. So I got 4 pops from her BBFS. It was great and her being late was forgotten haha.

    Viva La Colombia!
So I already hit a snag with your method. I joined the La Vista group but all the women are old!

Maybe I'm not shopping in the right area?

Two days ago I made a date with a FB girl that I've seen 2 or 3 times before. Our date was for 10 am. I sent her a message at 8 am to remind her but there was no response. I never heard anything from her at all. I was kind of expecting this to be a ghosting. Until hotel reception called to tell me my guest had arrived. She walked in he door at 10:07 am.

And yesterday? Another FB girl I scheduled for a 1 pm date. I've only seen her once before and it was about 6 months ago. Same thing, I sent her a message in the morning and never heard a word from her (nothing, not a "yes I'm coming" not a "voy en camino", nothing). Again, my adjusted expectations were she wasn't going to show or she would be really late. Ringggg Ringggg.

12:50 reception notified my I had a guest. Yep, actually a few minutes early.

Two in a row, almost material for the Guinness Book!

    Facebook chicas

One other thing I forgot to mention regarding meeting the girls on facebook. Once you are successful and engage with them it is good to do a video chat with them so you both know each other is real. It will be akward for 2 minutes because the girl can't speak english and the girl will be shy speaking spanish LOL so you will just look at each other and than continue the conversation via text thanks to google translate. But alteast you get to see and verify the goods. Once you have verified each other ask for her phone number to communicate via whatsapp. I feel that most girls will respond quicker via whatsapp than if you send a message via fb messenger.

How to find a love motel

I forgot to mention. When the San Peter would not accept my Vennie because she did not have the proper form of ID I was able to quickly find an alternative love motel around the San Peter by using motelnow.com.co.

It was really easy and super cheap. You make a request, and provide your whatsapp phone number. Within 30 minutes the motel will approve or disapprove your booking request and will send you a confirmation via whatsapp. You will than have like 1 hour to arrive at the property. This was super easy to use for someone who does not speak Spanish.
