I arrived on Saturday, late afternoon. The beauty of the city is second to none. The entire town is embedded in beautiful mountain peaks. The view from every corner of the city is breathtaking. The streets are spotless, the city is well organized, and the people are amicable.

Most importantly, the rumor is true! Girls in Medellin are super hot! The only other places I have seen this many hot girls are Moscow, Russia and Rio, Brazil.

The facebook method worked exceptionally well. I have banged five facebook girls in my first 36 hours. Doing homework beforehand really paid off big time. The upscale areas of Colombian cities are kept clean by a small army of city employees. They start fairly early in the morning, raking leaves, picking up trash and cleaning up messes. If you venture out of the upscale neighborhoods things aren't as spotless.

Facebook girls, YMMV. I can't recall any who were in a hurry to leave. MSOG has been attempted by a few girls, but only 1 succeeded. Each attempt was initiated by the girl, without any prompting from me.

The Mansion. Almost all the girls there are also found on Facebook. That may have been the place that started Medellin's Facebook scene.

Parque Lleras (I guess autocorrect got you) isn't in El Centro. It's in El Poblado. The difference is night and day. Especially since daytime is the best time in El Centro and nighttime is the best time in Parque Lleras.

Strip clubs. If you're just going for a beer, the El Centro clubs are better. You can have 10 beers and spend less than 1 beer (plus cover) at Fase Dos. Fase Dos is better if you're taking a girl. Rooms are much better and the selection is slightly better. But you'll spend a lot more.

I visited the bar at the Mansion on Saturday night around midnight. The place is slow, but the girls there are super hot. I'm not saying at the Mansion, so I had to pay 50 k cover charge. In there, you can dance with the girls or enjoy an endless lap dance with full contact for the price of a beer. I didn't take anyone home from the Mansion's bar, all the girls at the Mansion look just as good as the facebook girls.

I went to Gusto at Park illegal around 1:30 am, the girls there are hot, they charge 100 dollars and up. I like the bar, for the price of a drink you can have close contact dance with an 8+. Is Park illegal the famous el Centro? I love Park illegal! Full of bars and clubs with hot girls, street hookers everywhere, most of them are super hot! I'm going to go there every night.

I also visited Fase 2 on Sunday night. The place is ok; girls are not as hot as the ones at the Mansion or on facebook, but there are some gems there. It's a typical strip joint with overpriced drinks. Girls who danced on stage will walk around asking for a tip, 2 k (70 cents) is the usual tip amount. 220 K to take a girl into a room for sex. In my opinion, Fase 2 is a good place for a beer. Facebook girls are much hotter and cheaper.

I just watched the first 5 seconds. That's the southeast corner of Carrera 53 and Calle 51, the west end of the alley which runs alongside the Veracruz church.

Go to Plaza Botero. Stand facing the Museo de Antioquia. Turn left. Walk to the old white church. It will be on your right. Turn right. Avoid the trannies by the church. Walk 1 block. The yellow building at the beginning of the video is a casino on the corner. It will be on your left when you reach Carrera 53.

If you turn left, 20' down there's a stairway on the left. There's usually a bunch of girls there. There's nothing else in that direction. If you turn right, there will be plenty of girls on both sides of the street. They come in all shapes, sizes and ages.

After 1 block you'll reach the backside of the museum. On the left is a big public parking lot. Usually there will be some glue sniffers around the parking lot. Continue past the museum and the parking lot. Cross the street at Calle 53. Turn left. Go to Carrera 54. Turn right. This is the Raudal area. There will be girls on both sides for 1/2 a block. The big green building on the left after the girls is Motel Eros.

I'm learning Spanish but as of now I can say Hi and such, asking for price and that's about it. Without Spanish, it would be hard to build any chemistry. Or it's just my bad luck. When you use a credit card in most places your waiter will bring a small device to you table that has a printer. After some entries from your waiter out come a print out of your bill. You hand him your CC he sticks it into the portable CC reader then after approval of your CC out comes the form that you sign and a receipt. As I understand it no one including your waiter sees your CC number except the last 4 numbers. If your waiter, while holding your CC says something like I will be back monetarily. Grab your CC and say sure thing let me know when your ready for me to pay my bill. Better yet pocket your CC and pay in cash.

I wouldn't say it's "dressed up. " Typical dress is jeans, a t-shirt, and sneakers. You can wear a blazer if you want to, but it's not typical.

BTW I wouldn't put all of Colombia in the same category. If you're in a city on the ocean (Cartagena, Santa Marta), shorts are fine.

Wear what you are comfortable in. You're on vacation. For most of us, there is no such thing as blending in, so don't bother trying to dress like a Colombian. You're not fooling anybody. Anybody who tells you that you need to "blend in" to avoid being robbed is delusional. It's using common sense (like not pulling out cash or an expensive cell phone in public) that keeps you safe rather than whether you wear shorts.

I usually wear a pair of jeans a white t-shirt, and a short-sleeve overshirt. I would not call it dressed up.
