I agree with your points Nounce. However, I do believe that the robberies and violent crimes occur more often than you think. It is not something that would get publicized as it would only deter tourist and has no upside. I can tell you that from what I have been told from the girls there is that muggings happen every day and night and one must keep a watchful eye.
