I believe most of the members of this board don't partake in the El Centro street girls as they either don't have the language skills or the stomach for the scene there. As far as what Wolf did, I do the same when I find a gem I want to repeat with. As far as pricing inflation, there are not a lot of tourists in El Centro banging street girls so the prices are not going to be screwed up there like you think.

I juts want to share my experience at Medellin, not much to report.

Walking street girls neer la Iglesia de Veracruz, disappointing, really there were like 50 women, no one over a 5. Maybe one girl that was inside a house, but I did not enter to have a closer look. Nothing there.

Fase II, also maybe lots of 5, some 6's one or two 7 and one 8, but that girl was very busy with one guy and not available. So had to move on.

I just went to one spa, that is the worst spa, I really was advise by someone here not to go, but it was close to the hotel, the secret spa, and I should have heard the advise. Just 4 girls, but all less than a 5 really. Don't go there.

The only place I found a nice girl was at gusto, and a couple of nice girls there, that is the only place I would recommend, prices start at 200 USD, but most get down to 400 K or 300 K COP.

Over 45 years of mongering, I've put some thought to this topic of "overpaying". Since the end of the V'Nam war, I've seen a lot of good places come and go, mostly do to wealthy gringos who destroy.

The foreign economy and cause a nightmare situation for the local guys.

I barter hard to get the same prices as locals for anything I buy. I'm more than happy to walk away from any deal (pussy or street food) if I think I'm being overcharged because I'm a foreigner.

I resent that and an unwilling to mess up the existing economy.

On the other hand, in my mind, tipping is a whole different matter. It is separate from the original transaction as the price had already been established and I feel I had won out. If I feel I've had exceptionally.

Great service or am just feeling generous that day, I usually give a good tip. I feel really good about that as I have been very blessed in my life and tossing an extra $5 or 10 their way is no BFD to me at all.

This system has these benefits:

1) The negotiated price is fair and reasonable. I'm not paying more because I'm a gringo, farang, foreigner bule or whatever. It doesn't hurt the local guy and the girl expects to continue to agree to that amount in the future.

2) The tip system incentivises the girl to perform well and to please. I don't mind at all if I'm getting extra good service because she hope to get a tip. That is a "beautiful thing" as long as it is not negotiated.

3) The next time a fellow like me comes along, that young lady will try extra hard for him. This sets a good precedence for my fellow countrymen.

4) It rewards good behavior. Better that the girl delivers well than becomes a shrewd negotiator.

5) It helps to keep the buyer in control. The tip happens after the deed thus she gets no extra benefits until the end when the client is fully satisfied.

If we all used this system, we'd have much better experiences in these "lands of opportunity".

With Facebook girls 100% are collecting 2 to 3 times the cost of casa girls and 50% more than strip club girls. So, it's basically a wash in terms of cost. If time has no value, then the Facebook girls are probably a better value. There is much less waiting and wondering with casa and strip club girls.

The casa and strip club girls have all learned that guys will pay from 20 - 50 k more for BBBJ, so they mostly insist on it. I've never paid for it, because it's not worth it to me. With Facebook girls about 75% have gone to the BBBJ without hesitation.

I like to be generous while on vacation, especially to the poorer Barrio girls in Centro. Asking for $7 change would be distasteful / cheap to me and I have no problem giving them 50 k the next time.

Call me crazy but when I go to the trouble of negotiating a price, I want that to be the price. If that makes me a dickhead, I am fine with that. Fools and their money are soon parted, of course, whereas I have toured the world quite effectively using my basic negotiating strategy of if we agree on X, it is X, y punto.

I have said before, there are plenty of girls in medellin who will accept 150 and even 100. If you are chatting up chicas who primarily deal with tourists, negotiating lower prices will be more difficult.

There are plenty who will accept 30 k also. IE $10 US. My last trip the most fun girl I was with was 30 k, tongue down my throat in the elevator before we even got to my room, BBBJ, passionate, etc, cute, petite, no body fat.
