I've been following and reading this board for a long time now. A lot of rich information from vets and guys sharing their first time there. I've been on the fence on going ever since China shut down that caused stupid guys to flood Poblado. There's now a trend of Anti Foreigners spreading where people are downplaying the good, highlighting the horrors, shaming the women chasers, and pretty much screaming that there's no Hookup culture. I call bullshit. Recently I came across information from someone who I thought had solid honest information. Now I'm questioning if things on this board is just anecdotal or he knows nothing.

I'm shooting for May for my trip and In my head I'm thinking there's no way I could be taken advantage of growing up in a rough neighborhood. I don't smoke, don't do drugs, and a chill social drinker. Still, I rather be smart about this and hear others opinions.

I'm thinking out loud, and would love others' opinions on my generalizations. This is still my 2nd week here ever and there's a lot to learn. If I'm off base, please tell me.

Another observation in the last few days regarding Airbnb vs hotels. I ended up at a crappy Airbnb for my second two weeks here and the host wouldn't accept alterations to the dates and charged me 50% for canceling. Nearly every time I've airbnb'ed in modern countries the hosts were more than accommodating about me moving out if I didn't like a place. Not here. Many of the Airbnbs are managed by companies in clusters of little apartments. Many of can be booked via other websites which don't have these unreasonable cancellation policies. I would go that route next time if I wanted an apartment.

Right now I'm in a brand name hotel, with no chica fee if she doesn't sleep over. It's only marginally more awkward to check her in at the front desk but also way more comfortable, air conditioned, safe to the nines and I don't have to deal with any unprofessionalism from the staff.

Recently I've stayed in Airbnbs in Costa Rica. 2 out of 3 had absolutely no refunds for cancellations or changes. The last one had the more standard option of being able to change with a one day's cost penalty. I'm not a fan of strict cancellation policies like that. I didn't dare book until I was actually there in case my flight changed, say if I had to change my arrival date due to Covid.

Colombians are hot enough and psychologically simpler than most women, with a genuine drive to be happy and share that happiness with others.

I really like that line. TF, thing is that the women vary a lot by what region they are. Think of Bogota as NY, Medellin as LA, Cartagena as Miami, Cali as Atlanta, and Barranquilla as Houston. I think what you are looking for you would do better in Bogota than Medellin. You will find a more sophisticated woman there.

In addition, Bogota has direct flights. My gal moved from Bogota to Cartagena which was my choice, but the flight time is like double due to the connections. It is 8 to 12 hours to see here which is a pain in the ass, and for most guys, Medellin is going to be a connecting flight versus a direct one too.

Argentina and Brazil, as much as I love the women, are just not practical places to have a sugar baby. The time is just too much, and the flights have gotten stupid again with regards to costs.

Like you said with European versus Colombian women, I think European women are more sophisticated too but not as happy. I found Colombian women to be more sophisticated than Mexican ones, however I had a great time with the Mexican women I met.

You will find it is most practical time and expense wise for you to meet a Colombian woman in Mexico. Thing is there is now a new form Colombian people have to fill out to come and it is a doozy. I think my gal spent like 2 hours filling out the whole damned thing.

I can tell you that I did not think I would find much in Mexico and in Monterrey and Mexico City on seeking, and it was amazing. The women wanted more money wise and the hit rate on seeking is not as good but when you add in the time and hassles of traveling it is worth it.

By the time Landed in JAX, I had gone into urosepsis from flaring up my right testicle sexuales insultio, or sexual injury again. First I went into urinary retention (couldn't pee), then bilateral kidney pain and fever, then urosepsis. All over a period of just several hours. Next stop septic shock and death. Fortunately I ended up in my at my sister's house and collapsed into bed after she helped me up the stairs. She was ready to call an ambulance based on how I looked and I wasn't thinking clearly.

Where was this Punta hotel that you are talking about, sounds like a cool place to try out.

I pick up chica #3 at the Mansion bar. She is a smoking hot stripper, around 25 year old, covered in tattoos. We negotiate for 2 hours and go upstairs to my room and light up some joints (she is really into smoking). We session for about an hour. Thought I should go and see what's around, there's a cool, busy street full of mostly locals just off Carrera 69 (upwards from Unicentro) which was fun to walk up and down. Not a lot of action as it was Sunday night, but came across a vennie SW who wanted 70 K (and thought hotel would be 40-50 K). I took her to mine even though I shouldn't really have (rules are no guests after 8 pm, but they don't have security). Left most of my money hidden and only a few bills on me so wasn't too unsafe feeling. I wanted mamada sin condon (she said yes but wasn't happy with it, although I showed her my tests haha) and also to take some videos. At my place she wanted the money first but I gave her 50 K, then started really badly blowing me. Hah. We fucked and she told me to turn the video off. Since I'm a little used to occasional vennie SW dodginess, her reneging on this wasn't a huge surprise. 6/10 would do it again because its still pretty fun. Haha..

I hate doctors, and I hate hospitals even more. The few times I have been to a hospital in my life I was unconscious from trauma so I didn't have a say. But I have never been to a hospital for medical reasons, and I would just about rather die first.

I begged my my sister to let me try some Cipro antibiotic I had traveled with, and told her she could call the ambulance the next day if I did not quickly improve. Truly a miracle drug, after two doses I was a new man, weak but obviously greatly improved.

I am scheduled to catch a bus back to my home state tomorrow. My right nut is still twice normal size, but I can pee again. I have enough Cipro to make it home.

I have said many time before, my epitaph on my tombstone will read, "If I Die Tomorrow, I Die a Happy Man." They could've added, "he Fucked Himself to Death." Jjajajajajajajajaja. Ostee Out, and Keep on Keepin' On.

P.S. I moved all my fotos to the Cloud for my pass thru immigration, but there were no issues.

P.S.: word of caution for late night walks & using ATMs. When I went to pick up cash from a bank, there was another dude in there and I got some bad vibes and took my time picking up, I saw him in his car outside doing something. So I crossed the motorway so he couldn't follow me, and tracked his car leave with my eyes. Dude turned the car around but I was in a darker part so it was fine. He could have just been driving but I knew it was late and I was taking a risk.

Today, going to finish some work then heading out to Parque Lleras and possibly Veracruz to. Cruise. Around.

Great report useful to the newbie. However you also don't need to be paying 250-300 mil for FB chicas. You are a nice guy and likely asking them first. The rule of thumb is straight up offering them 150-200 mil por rato and most will accept, and some may try to negotiate up, why 30 por taxi is your next offer etc. But I rarely have to pay 250. And it's the smash and grab newbies that are resetting the expectations. Pre pandemic it was 150. Many still get it at that. If in doubt use casa pricing as a gauge. Fantasias energy was 150 pre pandemic and now 170mil I think.

I won't write every single day and every single episode but summarize best I can of the two weeks in Medellin. My first time, no Spanish and I was solo.

but it will be hard pressed to convince me that it is a land with that many beautiful girls with beautiful natural bodies and angels faces for the taking and for the price to be better (maybe Brazil but I doubt cheaper). I will be back October 27th for two weeks again and I can not wait. FYI this time I will know at least conversational Spanish it will be a way better enjoyment speaking the language. You can get by, have fun, enjoy yourself, fuck a 1000 chicas and navigate the city without it but it will be times 3 million to learn at least the basics of Spanish and that I will do and be prepared when I go back. Thank you a trillion times to this forum it is spot on and I implore all newbies to Medellin to heed it's message because it will prepare you if you read and follow.

They will want to take you up to what you saw in Gustos but then that will cause the place to lose its appeal in the end. Who wants to fly down there, take the risks and pay 1st world prices?
