There are too many generalizations being made about Medellin, almost leftover from Pre Facebook myths. There is no bad time to go to Medellin these days. Things have changed. I personally know two tourists who were denied boarding. Vaccine is nor mandatory. If not fully vaccinated, you need a negative PCR 72 hours or less prior to boarding.
