Just made it to Medellin. First night, Fase dos. I actually wanted to go to La Isla, but the taxi driver kept fighting me about it jaja. I'm guessing he probably got a commission or something. I didn't want to get another cab because it was raining and that that was first taxi that stopped after 10 minutes in the rain so I just went to fase dos. As soon as I got there and sat at the table, this chick came up to me. Arriely or something. Kinda bleh, but whatever. I'm open to something if I find them charming or have some element of their personally that I like. She's immediately pushy, asking for tips and shit. Asks for a drink. I do get her one, because I'm there alone and don't mind having someone to chat to for awhile. Immediately after getting the drink, she asks me if I want to fuck. I tell her maybe in an hour or so. She then bounces. Shouldn't have bought her that drink, felt like a chump, LOL.

I don't mind getting ripped off the first time even if I know I'm getting played because I'm the kind of idiot who only cements lessons after going through personal experiences or seeing it happen to someone else, even if I'm warned beforehand. I can be pretty stubborn about stupid shit. So since I've arrived to Colombia I've still walked into mistakes even after reading through the accumulated wisdom of the board members here.

Anyways, about 10 minutes later, the next one comes to sit by me. Think it was Diana. Not bad, and her breasts were spilling out of her shirt. Make some small talk, kept taking glances down her shirt while we were chatting. It's some weird psychological shit but it's ten times hotter when a girl's outfit teases you by only revealing the right amount, compared to being in the bed room and everything is revealed. Anyways, she asks for 300 k, I pay my tab, and we go into the bedroom. It's a good thing too, because apparently I didn't have any more cash on me. My bill is around 450 for two beers, the lady drink and a table and the girl. I only had about 500 on me total. Not sure what happened, thought I pulled 750 when I left the hotel, but I've been pretty careless with the specifics of my finances because I'm still tracking the average for my entire budget of the trip. Anyways, I bust after two minutes and immediately leave to the hotel and pass out.

Also, I'll be in Medellin for the next two weeks. I have roughly 150 FB contacts lined up, so I'll be good if I want to stay in, but it's my first time in my city and I'd like to explore the options outside as well. If any mongers here are interested in going out, DM me.

At the airport now, heading to Cartagena and although I did enjoy my trip, I doubt I'll return. This is mainly due to the language barrier and logistics of getting there from my town though.

I really enjoyed the street workers and casas in El Centro but didn't really enjoy Parque Lleras at night. Granted I didn't go in many bars or Gusto's but I didn't find the majority of SW's much better than the quality at New Life and Zandaly.

I won't miss the food (my blood pressure has probably jumped up due to the salt) or the hills.

I did enjoy eating at La Pampa and Barbaro Cocina though and highly recommend them. I also enjoyed the ice cream at Crepes and Waffles and a few other places too.

I finally made it to Medellin. Arrived on the 16th from Bogota and made my way to Ayenda Lukas on LA 70, booked a superior double room for 4 days, checked in and went exploring. The hotel and room was terrible, LOL, it was very small, the safe did not work and the bed was extremely hard. LA 70 is very active day and night for anyone that has never been, many bars, restaurants and little shops / vendors. Headed to Parque Lleras around 9 pm to meet up with SoberHanz69, had some beers and walked around looking at the girls, there were many options but I was just doing some recon and got a few whatsapp numbers. We met up with a couple of guys from NY and hung around with them for most of the evening, I headed back to my hotel around 2.

I left the Hotel Lukas on the 17th and got a full refund minus the 1 night I stayed which was nice. Found The Origen Local Suites, a little more expensive but I have a large room with a kitchenette and laundry area for 157.000 cop a night. The guest policy is no charge during the day from 8 am until 9 pm for 4 hours and 50.000 cop for an overnight guest or after 9 pm. One warning if you stay, it is noisy if it bothers you, ask for a room higher up. Spent the rest of the day bar hopping and talking to a girl I met many months ago as we had plans for Saturday, the day of love and friendship.

Saturday the 18th, my girl came to my hotel after she finished work and we went exploring, went to Parque Arvi on the cable cars and then down to her apartment in La Estrella, met her father and 1 of her daughters LOL. We came back to the hotel and spent a few hours in a sweaty pile, we both passed out exhausted and satisfied. She left Sunday to go home and get ready for the week, gave her 50.000 cop for taxi and relaxed the rest of the day.

Monday I headed to El Centro, went the wrong way off of the metro and spent a while getting my bearings and finally making it to ground zero. It was around 2 pm and felt totally safe walking around but there didn't seem to be many girls working. Headed to Radual<sp and went 2 or 3 blocks too far toward Prado station, things started to get sketchy so headed back to the the church to get my bearings. Scouted around a bit more and at around 4 noticed a lot more girls, hit up a super skinny spinner on the glass walkway beside the church, 40.000 for 30 min plus 7. 500 for the room. She showered before hand and she she stood beside me in the bathroom after when I had my shower, so I felt safe with her and my jeans / phone was never out of sight unless she was by my side.

Tuesday, headed back to El Centro and met up with SoberHanz69 again and another BM who I forget his username, he showed Hanz and I around to some of the casas, viewed the lineup at Zandaly and another casa but wanted to try new life. The Board member had to take off so Hanz and I headed to new life, I picked a nice looking girl and had a great time in the room, shower before and after, CBJ, multiple positions and finished in quatro. 55.000 for the girl for 30 minutes and 5 k for a beer so 60 k total, I'll be back to new life LOL. Left new life and met up with one of the guys we met in Lleras before, went back to the church and found a little blond for the the guy from NY to pop his El Centro cherry, waited for him to finish, Hanz headed back to his hotel, NY and I got a bite to eat and he took off. I walked around Centro a little more and departed around 7 pm on the metro. I'll say it again, felt perfectly safe walking around centro even after it was starting to get dark, I don't know if I want to be there after 9 pm or so but if you are aware of your surrounding and "no dar papaya" then you should have nothing to worry about.

Yesterday, Wednesday it was raining, bought a few groceries and hung out in my hotel being lazy, today I am planning to head back to Centro to see what it's like before noon. I hope I didn't bore everyone but wanted to share my adventure so far.

The benefits are all in the mind of the monger, and it varies from day to day and from monger to monger. Here's a few of the "benefits:

Hmmmh. I'll give you the thrill of the edginess of El Centro, there is smthg to that. Although one could argue you could get some of that from the casas too. Walking around the streets, trying to find the darn places. BUt I guess you can't replace the "thrill" of picking up a chick and inheriting those potential dangers without a safety net. Although I would put that under a disadvantage. Haha.

Negotiating a price for extras, finding a fresh arrival etc. These are things you can do in the casas too.

Ahhh! I thought of one! Fkn a pregnant girl, an underage girl, a glue addict, one of the crazies that runs around shouting at imaginary peoplel. These are things that you probably cannot do in the casas. Although you could maybe ask the mamasan. Hehe. Yep, I guess I got to think out of my own box to see some of the attractions of others.

Just go to El Centro at the intersection of Calle / Carrea 52 around 4 PM in the afternoon and keep your eyes open, there will be at least a couple out if not more ready to sit on your face if you want!

Forgot to mention that there were 6 masseuses working at OM Spa and that the lineup at Zandalay was average (obviously, if the one I picked was just ok).

If you add OM Spa on WhatsApp they post which girls are working each day and occasionally post specials. I haven't used OM Spa before. My favorite is Zen Spa, up 1 floor, followed by Dan Spa, down 1 floor. The massages have all been excellent, but the extras vary quite a bit and the prices are high.

Since you seem to go through a lot of bikinis, you might check out a_mar_swimwear on Instagram. They're located in Envigado and they deliver.

The thrill of the hunt. I haven't seen this one mentioned recently. Finding that fresh, new, just 18 beauty who is just starting (although if we're being realistic she probably has 6 years of experience), and being her first foreigner.

The art of the deal. Getting the girl who normally charges more for a low rate, or getting extras for free. Again, if we're being realistic, someone else is getting her for free.

The sleaze factor. This one doesn't get mentioned much, but it's a common motivation. Some mongers seek out the worst of the street areas because they enjoy the rawness. Although I don't partake, this is why I like to walk around El Centro. If I feel the need to wallow in the sleaze factor I'll go to one of the lesser known bars and try to find a girl who appeals to my mood.

There are other assumed benefits, the same as there are benefits to going to Loutron or La Isla, or paying $500 for some girl. But the benefits are only real in the mind of the monger.

Just my observation, I think street girls are more like bar girls. You can know them and negotiate before taking them. You can take them back to your hotel or apartment to do your thing, haha.
Casa's service is more or less fixed with time constraint. Not so with street girl once you know them, and it can get to a point that they are no different than FB girls, only cheaper. When I was there last time, there were frequent new arrivals, so you can get fresh talents too.
