    Slow FB Grind

After some time out of action, we're back with a vengeance. Planning is underway for the next trip.

Personal preference is natural and petite. To be complete honest, prefer Slavic looks, but South American culture / attitude.

I've RTFF and set up a new FB account. Have started adding people from MDE, but progress has been slow. I've been reluctant to upload photos of myself, so the profile probably feels fake. After 1-2 weeks, still only have 20 accepted requests. Will upload some more content (poems, scenery etc- I think other have suggested). Any advice at all would be much appreciated, feel free to message me with specific tips.

I've also got the idea / fantasy to throw a bit of a party, with a number of girls (ideally ones that don't know each other) and maybe even a couple of guys. Have read that having more than 1 girl around can be a bad idea, but keen to get thoughts, and if any locals are interested, hit me up.

Am I doing this right? Planning trip to MDE for the first time

    Hi everyone,

This is my first post here. I have been lurking around for the last two weeks in preparation for a trip to MDE next week and I am very thankful for all the input so far.

I am having some trouble and hope some of you can help me learn the strides of this great hobby.

The last time I was mongering was in 2010 in Cartagena, and I have great memories of going to la Dolce Vita and just looking at the menu and takings someone back to the hotel.

I have read that Haven is a great place that everyone recommends, but does anyone have any experience with Art Boutique Hotel? Company already has a room booked there for me and I wanted to ask if someone knows about their chica policy. Room is booked for 2 already though.

The last time I was in Cartagena I had a great time and the last chica I was with I spent 3 days with, also taking her back to Bogota. Besides all the fucking we were having loads of fun and she didn't; charge extra, so why not right? Thing is we've stayed in touch the last 10 years and we've seen each other in different places of the world. She was working in Mexico some time and we met a lot of times while I was travelling for work. At some point we stopped fucking because age caught up with her and I didn't feel like it anymore. For some reason, as crazy as it sounds, we still talk sometime and have still meet for drinks whenever we are in the same country. She offered to take me tour the chica scene in Medellin. She still works and she knows I'm not interested in her, but she will spend the first night showing me around.

But now to my real issue. I am a nervous wreck whenever it comes to approaching women. Even if it is a working chica. I never know if you need to do small talk or if you go straight to the point while approaching? I have been reading that you have to prepare a facebook list of some. What do you write to them? I made an account a week ago and started adding friends after I followed some previous facebook report from here. I then started doing this on an Instagram account which got blocked after the first five DMs I've sent. This account is blocked until Friday. I know now that you have to change the texts to not look like a bot now. Lesson learned, but still I need to prepare my list right? Is Facebook or Instagram better. The UI is better on IG and if IG works, I'd rather focus on that one.

So how do you talk to them? Do you do small talk? Do you compliment them? Or do you go straight to the point? I've tried all kinds of openers. I speak Spanish, so that's not an issue.

From saying I like your pics, I would like to meet you. Let me know if you are open for it, to Ill be in Medellin. Do you escort?

By now I've added 50 chicas. I've written to 40 of them. On Instagram, girls started following me all of a sudden. Do you take those seriously? Or are those mostly bots? Do you just talk to chicas you have added yourself to avoid or do you follow back and talk to them? I'm kind of worried of finding a scammer for some reason.

Of all the girls I've written to, 3 have responded. 1 does only Onlyfans and when I asked her if we can meet, she said plain no. The second one said she sold OF content, and she would meet me for 500 mil. I was like that is too much! I pay 150 k + taxi as I've seen in the forum.

She just said "hijupueta mas canson" which translates to something like what an obnoxious fucker and she blocked me.

The other one has not responded yet. So am I doing this right? Am I adding the wrong girls. I get confused because I want to hire them for their services but don't know If I should just say hey I want to fuck for money. Do you do that?

I do feel comfortable that I won't be going out alone the first night, but I want to have everything prepared to go out on my own afterwards. I have anxiety issues that I'm trying to face and I always get nervous when I go monger. Probably the reason I have not done it for such a long time. I'm really looking forward to change that.

Last question before I end this post. I see that everyone is amazed at centro and parque Lleras. I had a great time picking someone at Dolce Vita. Would that be something similar to what Zandaly or La Isla are in Medellin? Or is it more like Loutron?

I was also looking at spending a night at Mansion. I only have 4 days and I think I'm trying to see as much as possible not considering that I can only fuck a limited amount of time each day.

I'll happily report about everything when I get back.

Thank you in advance for all your input.

This community has been great help so far.

    Cheers,

    Chopari.

And they had some dolls in their backpacks and people were howling in laughter when the cops pulled them out of their packs. These women cops were also telling girls not to stand in front of the statues, and had a bad ass attitude about them, albeit no guns. The fencing I think is to help with security more than anything else as at one of the entrances by the Church they always seem to have a cop stationed there. The entrances seem more like choke points, so a thief theoretically would have to exit thru them albeit could hop the fences or go thru the existing breaches.
I did not see too many breaches, cept one. However they are always stationed and the choke points. They have really been cracking down lately. No drinking outside after 8. Cops have been hanging out late at night outside the parameter also. There is a sense of safety, but also a since of harassments as anyone that comes into the zone will have their backpack checked, and ask for ID. Girls are also disappearing at night. Most of them migrate towards the other side of Veracruz. Where all the bars are. Love motel closes at 9 I think, but you can get buzzed in, if so inclined too.

I have seen a big difference sense a month ago. Recommended time to go would be in the late morning to late afternoon.

This happened to me as well! Although I have a couple hundred girls on FB already, I know there are more!

I hope this can get you started for the first couple of days.

Day time, you can take a Uber to New Life near El Centro, see the map and list in Mojo's post. New Life has standard price, pay after and it is cheap. You don't have to take anyone, in that case, buy a drink to avoid the fee which is 4 mil when I last visited. When you are done, go to Plaza Botero for sightseeing and just observe some street actions, you don't need to participate, stay in the tourist area where you can see police. When it gets dark, you can try the strip club Conejita. This is just across the street from Plaza Botero. You can find pricing and more detail from Mojo's post. Another daytime place to go is Fantasia Energy at Laureles.

At night, you can go to La Isla. It's a high end strip club. It is more expensive but the price is fixed so you don't need to worry about scam. The striper will ask for tip after dance. I just give each 2 mil. You can grope them or interact with them. You can get 2 mil bills from the bar or the waiter can get it for you. If you see a girl you like, ask about service and take her to the room. The price should be fixed. You can pay by credit card at the bar. You can spend several hours here.

You can also check out Gusto other night after La Isla, go there and treat it like a bar in US. You don't have to take girl here and I don't recommend it. After La Isla, you view point probably already adjusted so you have less impulse paying higher price to take a girl here. Just search for the word Gusto to learn more.

All these places are used to Gringos so you should not have problem.

    Super helpful

Gracias hermano! Have been looking for some good brands to use here because all the ones I've been using seem to be pretty terrible. But I've used those tulip ones (I believe they're the ones the girls use in most casas) and they tend to work great.

Also appreciate the advice from your doc. Excited to give it a shot.

Will report back once tried and tested jaja.

I've tried condoms here that were as bad as the proverbial raincoat, basically you could feel nothing.

Then I stumbled across these two brands and they are both good. The first one, Duo Ultrasensible, was recommended to me by a pharmacist in the drugstore on the corner closest to the Vera Cruz Church near Ground Zero.

But by tourism standards, there are not many regular tourists, especially not from outside the USA.

That being said, if you are an independent thinking kinda person, it ain't so difficult. I'd draw up a shortlist of places and things you want to do, then figure out how to do them. Choose the easy things first. Decide on a place to stay. Somewhere close to some action preferably since traffic is a nightmare in MDE. Then identify your targets. Casas are a really simple start. They are open 7 days a week (well, some are). You can just get a taxi there. Choose one that is close by some others, so you can walk around if you don't like the line up.

Or find a wingman who can show you around for the day or a few hours.

Or choose a more tourist orientated city like Santa Marta, where things are a little easier.
I am also planning my first trip to MDE in few weeks. I plan to stay in Parque Lleras, hotel Du Parc. I know its a little expensive but I want to be near the action. I do not want to spend too much time traveling. I am working on lining up some SA chicks who will come to me. Would you agree that this is a good start for my first trip and get familiar with the things?

Thanks for your input in advance.

    Santa Marta etc.

Yes, I will be in Santa Marta the last week of October as part of a visit to Cartagena. I agree that it is a lot easier to negotiate than MDE and the prices for everything from food to hotels to the ladies are quite reasonable. You might say there is not a lot to do in SMA but you could make the same argument for MDE but at least there is a beach and several nicer ones in the Tayrona National Park, if you have the time. This will be my third visit but it has been a few years since my last and that was pre Covid and before the Vennie invasion. At least, there are no Haitians there. LOL.

Hope to provide a full report.

I'm due to visit for the first time in November. I'm an obvious gringo, travelling solo, with very little Spanish (but I'm still learning daily). I'm really having second thoughts about my trip. I normally travel to Thailand where there are lots of expats to meet up with. But I'm really struggling to get together a plan from the information I can gather. Whenever someone mentions a casa or gives a recommendation (like Motel Ibiza) I'm noting it, but still I have no idea where I'm looking to visit when I arrive.

To add to that, I've been adding FB ladies and some of them are posting memes making fun of gringos. So obviously these are bad calls on my part.

Are there gringo-friendly places / casas? I don't plan to visit El Centro, and probably not Poblado also, given what I've read. So I'm running out of ideas for places where I'm not going to be taken for a sucker.

    Am I over-thinking things?
Listen to Mr E and take note that you are probably overthinking it. I do not know what you read about Poblado and yes there have been some shit go down there recently but overall it is not that dangerous, especially if you stay in a building with security. Regardless of where you stay I would recommend that you stay in a building with security to screen your visitors. It covers you for safety and keep you from accidently getting yourself in trouble. Also to help you get a little bit of bearing you can familiarize yourself with the Medellin list and the Medllin map that I am providing a link to below. You'll see lists of places of interest for usw mongers and then you can cross reference or just study the map to show you exactly where these places are.

There is also a thread called travel announcements which you may be able to use to find other gringos to hook up with. Link at the bottom.

Also look for my PM I will send you some other info.

Are gringos really put down so much? I can't hide the fact that I'm a gringo!

    Am I over-thinking things?
Way overthinking things. You can't figure out what is going on by reading and watching videos on the internet. You have to get there and start doing. Ibiza is just a short time motel that some guys like to go to. No need to even worry about that. Latin culture pokes fun. If you are very serious and can not take a joke then I do not know what to tell you. They nickname people on how they appear, but do not mean anything by it. So you could be fatso, slim, shorty, black, or whatever the fuck. Same as Thailand where you could be called pumpui (chubby), noi (small), lek (skinny), dam dam (black), thea (shorty), etc.

Get there and get your bearings. You certainly will not get them on the internet. Most foreigners stay in Poblado and some of us hard-core cheapskates say downtown. You plan to go to neither place? Well where do you plan on staying and hanging out or who do you plan on hanging out with since you are not following the usual path of where the foreigners will be? And the casas are downtown. It is like you are going to Bangkok for the first time and planning to stay in On Nut instead of Nana or Asoke. Medellin is not like Thailand. There is no separate stuff for foreigners, except places like Gustos where you are going to get ripped off. You will be fucking right alongside local guys.

I don't see a material difference TBH. If a place starts charging high prices, just move on to the next place. There are tons of them. Just go to a locals place and get the local prices.

    So true!

And I will one-up on this about the prepagos and photos as I see many of photos where the chica is wearing an article of clothing or bag that I purchased and which I gave her as a gift a few years back before she got heavy into the scene.

So some of these I trained them so you all owe me a debt of gratitude, hehehehe.

    Condoms

    Condoms.

I posted before that there is a wide variety in the quality of condoms, especially and including the degree of sensation felt while wearing one. I believe I recommended Trojan Gold, and I normally bring a supply from the states. But they are very expensive and might be the most expensive condom on the market I'm not sure. * I ran out of those a long time ago on this trip.

The second brand, Tulip, surprisingly are the ones they hand out free at the Hotel Real Botero, not coincidentally the closest hotel to the same pharmacy and to the front door of the Vera Cruz church. I feel certain both brands are readily available. And I'm not saying these are the only good ones but these are the two I have found that do a good job. And no breakage to report so far.

Now here is the "Pearl" I've never heard anyone repeat, told to me by a doctor a long time ago. Put a dab of lube on the inside tip of the condom before you put it on. That greatly improves heat conduction and sensation to disagree there have been times when I could not even tell I had a condom on, no kidding.

    Ostee Out.

Has everyone else's text typing and voice to text gone wonky since the Internet crash yesterday, or is it just me?
