I'm not much of a poster, but the information here really helped me, so I want to give out the info that I have accumulated this past month. First off, I came on the first of January and just took a taxi because I was tired as shit and paid 90 k. I didn't speak more than 5 words in Spanish, so I recommend a few apps preloaded. 1. is sayhi by amazon which I enjoyed when talking to the girls but required internet and 2. Is of course google translate when you got no internet and need to say shit at a snail's pace. Regarding hotels, I moved between Leblon suites hotel and Estelar apartments Medellin. For both I recommend to book for two people then even though you bring different people they never charge the guests (at least in my experience). During my stay I hung out with a couple of ISG guys, and they were great guys and showed me great things. So, I recommend you try to make some friends here which if anyone is coming into Medellin or is here message me and we can meet up because I am in Medellin till the end of February.
The internet Chicas:
In my experience Medellin is a place that can make any man happy, you just have to know what you like. Me as the ISG boys would say am a sentimental * and so I came in with my shit ready. I added up a lot of Facebook girls' weeks before coming as well as started tinder Platinum for that non pro experience. Facebook girls is once again based on what you want. I like to make an hour session into a 3 hour or an overnight stay. So, I try to go with girls who seem less pro and always smoked weed with them to get them to relax, not to mention the better sex. Tinder girls on the other hand is an interesting game to play which I enjoyed because I am too much of a * to talk to girl in real life with just a translator. I am 30 so I think that helped me with getting matches as well as the premium. I was honest with them about my language skills but told them half-truths of what I was looking for. Something I recommend for guys going this route is understand your assets and use them. I am never going to as interesting to them as a native speaker will or will have the shared experiences that they would share with their male counterparts. But what I do have is money and a different attitude towards things which I think really helped my game. So, I used them, I would pay for things like dinner and transport while they showed me places that I would otherwise never see as well as amazing Latina sex. I was never really afraid to show that I had money because let's be honest there really isn't too much else a gringo can offer and a lot of them were OK with that. When it came to drugs, I got tired of people trying to hustle the gringo so I would just get these girls to bring me shit I wanted to do with them which was weed for the most part, other than a few times in which I wanted to try Colombian drugs which made them open up to me and made the experience more authentic.
The Street walkers:
My boy Blingz loved the street walkers and did well with them. We would go to Lleras park, and he taught me a great method which as a non Spanish speaker is a fucking blessing. He would just put in +57 on his phone and go to the girl and she would just put in her number, and you could talk to her later and set whatever you want up. A couple things of note and keep in mind I'm a sentimental * so your experience might differ and your end result might be different because of your expectations. These girls are trying to get back to the park as fast as possible. So don't expect an amazing experience often or anything more in regard to service. The Lleras park club is not really a club but rather a stupid way to waste money because every single girl there is a working girl. So, picking them up in the club is kind of pointless because they also have a deal with the club to get you to pay 50 mil on a drink as a way for them to make more money. Also, don't take taxi from the park because they will overcharge you, but rather just take Didi or uber. But like I said the benefit of these girls and the park is that you get what you see and they seem good for the most part, but make sure to use common sense and remember that you are in foreign country at the end of the day.
Non girl info.
Like I said try to get these girls to take you places once you trust them because why the fuck not LOL. Go see some of Medellin because it's honestly beautiful and so different to the garbage I see in Canada. Places like Comuna 13 with the graffiti as well as the cable cars that take you to Avri park. Sabaneta at night or even for breakfast is such a beautiful experience so make sure you hit that shit up as well as all the other places I forgot to mention.
Things I stumbled on:
- Don't stay in Botero plaza past daytime and make sure to watch your surroundings.
- While I haven't been robbed, I have had a few close calls, so make sure to take some precautions. Like separating your money in case, you get robbed and need money to get back to your hotel.
- Don't fucking think your special to these Facebook girls and grow feelings for them. Understand what you are and try getting a better experience, but no matter what they say, know that you don't mean shit to these girls.
- If you are a non Spanish speaker like me, don't be afraid to ask for help and try to remember that we are all people so most people are nice enough to help.
- The first few days of being here, I really had trouble getting rid of the street hustlers, but just learned to say gracias and not give them attention as I walked.
- if you sit on the patio right beside to walkway in a restaurant and you are accessible from the street, by the pedestrians, be prepared to get hassled by guys trying to get money from you.
That's all I can think of right now, but hopefully this helps somebody who is interested in Medellin. Also, I just want to say this community of guys is great and I wouldn't have had the experience that I had without the guys I met in real life from this message board. But I am still here for a while so anyone who is cool to hang, private message me.

They spoke of her as a contestant or a place or even an enemy. But the old man always thought of her as feminine and as something that gave or withheld great favours, and if she did wild or wicked things it was because she could not help them. The moon affects her as it does a woman, he thought. "

Note that you will fairly often hear native speakers of Spanish say 'la problema' and one time in a shit hole called Clorinda there was a kid selling water in the street yelling 'La agua la agua la agua' (agua is a feminine noun but takes the masculine article because the initial -a is stressed). Yet another time I heard a chicano in Guatemala bragging about being bilingual and he then said 'la agua,' 'la problema,' and 'la DIA' (should have an accent over the eye) all in the same paragraph. My point is, just like native speakers of English say shit like 'if I was you' doesn't mean it's correct and as you learn Spanish you will hear a lot of bad grammar on the streets.
