So I am back in Medellin. To my surprise half of my friends are gone to Europe or Mexico. My friend told me there is a group of guys offering girls work in Mexico but it will cost them 20,000,000 cop. In exchange they get a passport, flights and the right to stay in an apartment building. Thank you for your insights MongerHunger! By sharing factual information it helps me learn. Unfortunately I don't know everything like you seem to imply that you do. So I am glad you took time to share some of your extensive knowledge.

Of course it common knowledge that airports in general give inferior exchange rates. But a man needs currency of the country you arrive in when you first arrive. I am curious to know your solution to this problem since I did not know ahead of time the cost of the taxi ride? This man chooses not to ride the bus his first trip (no need to on any trip actually). Way beyond riding to with a shared taxi in a new city to a place I am unfamiliar with. My girl does not recommend it at anytime (concerns for my personal safety is the reason given).

It's common knowledge that airports in general give shitty exchange rates, especially Medellin Airport. Taxis from the airport to points in the city are less than 100 k. Also the white buses that leave the airport frequently to the city will only set you back only 13 K. Colectivo Taxis are 30 K to the city

Uber, Beat and DiDi are also available.

We used uber and yellow taxis exclusively as well as our two feet in the form of walking as you will see I bother to write about the rest of my trip.

Try using Rappi to have food delivered to you during late hours.

Something I learned about later. But still have yet to use.

All of this information is easily accessible and quite known.
