Either one of our points is impossible to disprove at this time

Based on this logic, we would also say that, ignoring crappy clothes / hair fashion, accents, and size of belly, we would be able to tell who was an Aussie, a NZer, a Brit, a Canadian and a USAn. This is clearly not the case. The reason Venezuela does well in beapoints uty contests is simply that their culture is highly patriarchal, meaning they value beauty very highly. Beauties from most other countries would never consider entering a beauty contest bcos they quite rightly view it as demeaning and objectifying to women.

A parrellel can be drawn with atheltics and sprinting. Is there a Jamaican 100 m gene? Of course not. It's simply bcos their society has come to value and motivate that event above others.
As the revered biology teacher Solomon Malinsky taught me, "Everything you are and everything you will ever be can be boiled down to two factors," Heredity or Environment or the so called "Nature versus Nurture" or genetic versus familial, argument. That pendulum has swung back and forth even before Watson and Crick won the Nobel Prize for describing DNA in 1962. Lately, the pendulum has swung heavily toward heredity with the mapping of the human genome being completed officially as far as current technology will allow in 2003. Obviously, your bias is toward environment but stating that either side is "ridiculous" is poisoning the well. My usual way to back out of that debate is to claim it is 50/50 genetic or familial, which I am doing now and you may certainly have the last word if you wish.

    Vennies

There are a ton out there, I have no idea of the actual numbers. There was a Venezuelan Refugee Crisis that started it all I don't know how many years ago or if it's still considered active but millions fled the country to come here. I have met more than one girl who said she walked here all the way from the border in X amount of weeks. There was and still is a ton of resentment toward them by the locals because they were competing for jobs here. The word on the street from the chicas I talked to is that they undercut the sex workers (SW) with their pricing particularly at Ground Zero and that supposedly is one of the main reasons prices have stayed down. More than one girl has told me the Colombianas and Vennies "hate" each other.

I don't actively seek out Vennies, but once I am in a room with a SW, about 90% of the time they end up being Vennies or Paisas, and 75% of that group are Vennies. I have gotten to the point where I can usually spot them from a distance, not because they are Vennies, but because they are the best looking ones with the best bodies. Their face looks different with sharper features and just prettier, to me. Their skin is smooth and near flawless. When you grab a handful of Vennies they feel different, firm but soft at the same time, almost indescribable.

I have never felt more danger from a Vennies than baseline. I guess they might be considered more "desperate" but I think that tagline could be applied to any girl out on the street selling her wet holes for under $8 USD. Lately, I've heard a buzz that some girls are returning to Venezuela which makes me think the Crisis is over but that is pure conjecture on my part. I would be interested to hear feedback on that or Vennies in general. Ostee Out.

    Thanks for that correction

I think technically Puerto Rico gets gypped out of the crown because it is considered part of the United States, but yours is a good point.

Respected board members. By whose account? Was there a vote? Did I not get that memo?.
You sound a little insecure as to whether you made the cut or not. LOL.

I really can't relate much to the Vennies as I know nothing about their Country, or their people, where as I can relate to the Colombians, knowing a bit about them, and Medellin.

On a totally non-sexual level, I have just never clicked with, at least yet, with a Vennie which of course could happen anytime.

They do have some different attributes than the Colombians, as they appear to be more educated / literate, and are sharper in a business sense.

On a sexual level, I have limited encounters with them, probably no more than a dozen, and I can't make the statement either way if they or better or worse than the Colombians in this department.

The invasion of the Vennies over the years has been a godsend for everyone on this board in terms of value, and the sheer numbers of them available in Centro, who out number the Colombians based on my observations.

Given that the Vennies are foreigners in Colombia, I also believe their work ethic is also much greater than the Colombians given where they come from. This is evident by how early some of the girls arrive in Centro and how long they stay out working. Some of them are almost always in the same spot, kind of like the Botero Statues, with some of them working out there for as long as eight years.

Yet this pales on the Colombian side of things, there have been some of the same Colombians working in front of the Veracruz Church for more than twenty years, a few of them of which have daughters working the streets as well.

I have one who works the telephone booths with a hot daughter of 19 who keeps egging me on to take her up stairs.

Her Mom is a performer and hopefully she trained her daughter well, but if her Mom found out that I took her upstairs, I might be in a lot of trouble, or perhaps what actually would happen is her Mom would give her a high five, and yell at her "Attagirl"!

    Question about El centro

I plan on being in Medellin sometime this year, been working on my Spanish the past year or so I think I'll be able to get by with it.

Just want to ask about the safety of el centro, I plan on being around there in the day time and I don't drink or act a fool. How safe would it be for a street smart newbie? Been hearing about a lot of robberies and druggings in parque Lleras, do druggings ever happen in el centro?

Also when watching videos about el centro it seems like there's a lot of local guys just hanging about, how do you go about speaking to a WG when there's like 20 guys watching you?

Appreciate any advice that can be given, thanks.

Best you check official sources of info. USA CDC website covers entry requirements to all countries, so does GOV UK website.

Don't even bother unless you want to spend money on brand names for the chicas you will probably never see. You can buy flip flops in Mde in any Todo 2000 - 5000 store for the same $1. 25 or less.

For me, the Vennies are more skillful, prettier, and bring more personality.
Look at the number of Miss Universe and Miss World beauty contest winners from Venezuela as a ratio to their country's population size, and no other country in the world even comes close. There is a Vennie beauty chromosome.

You're going to get eaten for lunch in Colombia, based on your questions and approach.

    Chanclas

Not bad, but show a little value added and buy some $5 closeout flip flops from Sierra.com.

Its like these women have real bad trust issues. Also one of the girls who I plan to meet she was open enough to tell me she has a boyfriend and a son and that if we meet it needs to be discreet. Do you think that her having a boyfriend is going to be an issue? She actually seems really nice LOL. I don't want to be a home wrecker. The first thing I thought of was Jumbo Shrimp or some other oxymoron. Yeah, I guess there are respected members here. No less important than the reviled members in my book. You want to be the tallest midget in this room? Jaja, have at it.

There is no substitute for the experience of time, but time is not the ultimate experience. If experience and time were all that mattered then simply who put in the most hours at any given endeavor would come out on top. Sometimes that's true, and a nose-to- the-grindstone approach can pay off on in the long run.

But guess what? Talent, skill, and natural ability trump people with more "experience" all the time. In business, sports, entertainment, you name it, there is always a young upstart shaking things up often to the resentment of the older, more "experienced" participants. They are the future. Not the guys stuck in their constant one-dimensional mode of thinking and way of looking at life.

Me, I don't give a shit what anyone thinks of me, positive or negative. My sense of self-being would certainly ignore the opinions of faceless, nameless, no-account, anonymous posters on the Internet. Last time I checked the only opinion that really matters here of what should or should not be posted is admin and / or the owner of this Website.

The second I believed someone was fantasizing or writing fiction here, he would make my Ignore List. I find it laughable that you debate the issue. I will sometimes write to add entertainment value, but the only "agenda" I have in mind is The Truth.

I respect the experience of those who came before me in any endeavor, as I wave to them in my rear view mirror, jajajajajaa. That's how it's been my whole life. I'm used to it, most others are not.

If this venue was juried, reviewed, vetted, edited, and measured with metrics, then you could talk about "respect" and what value members bring to the table. But it's not, it's the Internet, mostly unfiltered, raw, love it or leave it, so anyone's opinion on what constitutes a worthy contribution is a pile of frilojes blasted out from some puta's poop chute, including mine, IMO, Jajajaja.
Hmm yeah, what he just said, Lol.

Caracas was the place to be back in the day before Chavez. I had an apartment there. Loved it.

Yes, of course Medellin has lots of Vennies.

If the typical price in El Centro is 30 K, does plus or minus a dollar really matter?

Also, I highly doubt that pricing is based on nationality, but more on what any particular girl thinks she can get.
