The news that it is November1st is not new. it has been reported several times already by Colombian agencies. Too many people are in denial that it will be at least November1st before tourist can enter.

LUGNUT, I was looking at AirBnB and some other sites for Pereira. I didn't see many intriguing options. I'm going to guess it was expensive prior to the revolution. You had all the high-rollers from the US going down there. It was Vegas before Vegas became big.
