One advantage of New Life, for someone who is uncertain about how much time they want to spend, is you pay after, for however long you were in the room. Most of the other casas you pay up front for a specific time. It would suck to pay for 3 hours and it turns out the girl isn't someone you want to spend that much time with. At New Life you can get away from a dud after 30 minutes, or stay with a star for as long as you want.

Thanks JjBee62 for the apartment suggestion! Yes, I do see that it is available for a good price on booking.com and I see that the place has amenities that I would want. I see that another poster mentioned that it can be very noisy, so I will email San Peter and see if there's a certain area that a person can stay to reduce the noise.

Appreciate this feedback Fun Luvr! Checking out hotels in that Laureles area. Was thinking about that Poblado area mainly due to Parque Lleras, but after reading more about that place, I'm not really interested in paying the prices the women charge there, so now I am fine with staying in Laureles area instead. Unless I misread something, it looks like Laureles has a park as well. Don't know if similar to Parque Lleras. Still reading and studying.

Even if I don't officially stay in El Centro, the prices are just too good down there to not visit. I'll make sure to do my visits during the daytime. Same thing can be said about people who never been to El Centro at night and offering suggestions. Same suggestion can be made to the OP to only book one or two nights in El Centro.

The OP's original thinking wasn't wrong. If I were going to focus on casas in El Centro, and I am going to have two pops a day. Is it better to stay nearby and be able to go anytime I want and go back to the hotel any time I want. Or make a trip and stay out several hours not sure what to do during down time? Or make two trips each day?

You can take the bus to the Nutibara hotel and avoid the helpers and draggong luggage to the taxis. There is not much difference in distance.

So 30 k is on the higher end and what most of us rats pay. The Colombians who go with the lower end girls pay 10 k to 15 k and use the 3 k rooms. Also, Centro girls absolutely work Lleras. New Life is a great place with good service but I wouldn't want to spend 3 hours in their small cramped rooms. For a 3 hour session I would prefer to be in a hotel or apartment and if you want a New Life girl then arrange a meeting when she is off.
