Thanks for sharing your alternate approach to mongering BrasilSoccer, I'm sure that you get great pleasure from all aspects of "The Hunt" rather than just laying your money down for a short time event.

Over the years, I got so bored with brothels and clubs that I began to learn the village life in places like the Philippines. In time I got brave and would sometimes approach college girls (18+, of course).

Even when they were walking in the mall with their Aunts or Mothers. I received some hateful looks from the Aunties but also came away with cp #'s at times. That's not so bad for a guy in his 50's, right?

As in your case, sometimes you must play the seduction game for a while but. What is the hurry? When we final get the goal, it's a much better experience than what a professional can provide. That's my experience anyway.

I'll visit Medellin soon and I hope I can have some success there with "regular" girls.

    Best regards.

    Fashion in MDE

You want to dress classy in MDE or your really going to stand out as a tourist. Don't wear shorts either, unless your working out. I always recommend to go to google maps, and street view. And dress as the locals do.

But seriously don't wear shorts, or sandals. My local friends there laugh about how shitty tourists look all the time.

I don't think I saw many hats, especially cowboy hats.

It's great town though, make sure to venture out and go to places like Trilogia Live Bar or something.

I will also answer 2 of your questions as other member did. I like his thought of numbering them.

#3 yes if you are out at night, you will definitely be asked if you want to make a purchase. I been there 3 times and it's all over the place.

#4 yes I agree leave the cowboy hat at home.

If it's your first time I guess Medellin hotel or whatever it's called is good, but I don't speak espanol and I just rented a nice condo off Airbnb or whatever it's called. I prefer a condo because I like to make my Martini through out the day and I didn't have a doorman. I party hard but am street smart and know how to maneuver around. But I don't recommend this if your not sure of scams and doping.

Good Luck with your trip and you can always pm me.

Not mentioned at all hear, maybe forum rules. But I hear you will be approached a lot for 420 / skiing supplies on the street. True?

I usually wear a western sombrero. Do many guys wear cowboy hats in MDE as they do throughout Mex. & Guat? Might leave it at home as I don't want to be the 6'2" we do that sticks out like a sore thumb.

Or could I be noticed in a good way?

Advantages to changing currency $1000. Usd over using ATM daily? I got a Schwab card.

Any guys use Mileroticos to call in girls or get taxi to girls incall?

Hotel Medellin Plaza. Casa Blanca. Mansion all one and the same?

Thanks, I've searched the shit out of this forum and can't find these answers. Couple weeks and I'm there!

First time and first impression in Medellin

First I have to say the girls are a lot prettier IMHO than in Tijuana. Flew in and no problems with taxis from the airport to the Poblado area. All the facebook contacts are getting old and I see one. She was so nice. Stayed way past the time and hanged out with me. In park Lleras there are two streets perpendicular to each other where the prepagos stand. They all know each other and there is one liquor store in the park area with the trees where they all hang out.

2nd girl I got was supposedly new in my apartment complex. More on the white side and she was great too. Ill post pics but I don't want my junk showing. We actually hung out at Santa Fe mall, when to Santo Domingo for the metro.

Now people are suggesting I go Fase 2.

I am looking for the really high end ones. Someone please PM me where to find the high end ones. I like they ones that look very European.

I numbered your questions so that anyone can follow my responses.

    1. I have never had an independent chica in Medellin ask for the money upfront. Casas make their own rules, but I don't think any are out to rip you off.

    2. There are many USA Style restaurants around Parque Llerus. Standard prices for food and drinks are a little more there than most other areas. Many restaurants have reduced prices in the afternoon. In the evenings, there are almost always many people there. I have seen some working chicas there, but none that caused my heart to flutter. I am usually out of that area by 10 or 11 pm, so that may be a reason.

    3. I have never been approached for that purpose.

    4. I think you should leave the cowboy hat at home.

    5. No advantages at all, but quite a few disadvantages. You will get a better exchange rate at an ATM, you will not have a large amount of money on you or where you are staying, ATM's are more convenient than cambios, you can take advantage of fluctuations in the exchange rate by using an ATM (that can be good and bad, just like the stock market). I have noticed the ATM's give an exchange rate tied to the previous day's market rate, so that may help you.

    6. I have never used Mileroticas, but I have read reports from guys who have used them. All good reports as best I remember.

    7. All the same place. You can add Hotel M to that list. They change the name quite often.

We went into one casino near the Santa Fe mall, close to Starbucks / Krispy Creme. Besides the slots there were 4-5 blackjack tables and a roulette table at the far end. A few people at each table. I recall 20 K minimum. Also, as you enter on the right hand side there was a "high limit" room. No one there though.

Did you try going upstairs? The casino downtown that I always go eat in has gaming tables upstairs before you get to the restaurant. What does it take for a casino to not be boring? All of them are boring to me.

MDE casinos are weak and boring

I never went to any casinos in Medellin. There are a few nice ones in Cartagena. I been to Medellin a few times and I think 3 or 4 days there is more then enough. I prefer wed, Thur., Fri., and maybe Saturday. More then that it's not for me. It's a big city and unless you know your way around it can be pretty fucked up. Also I am not into daytime cases so other then walking around during the day there is not much to do.

For me the night life there was great. I always rent a nice condo and head out every night to the wee hours and always had a great time partying and bringing a girl home for a few hours. But day times sucked for me and I don't sleep long hours so even though I would be out late I would still be up early, then later take a nap. Night time is really fun.

I definitely prefer Cartagena to Medellin mainly to walk beach, check out bikini clad women etc. I don't care the water sucks etc etc. I don't go in the water I just like walking for miles on the beach and grabbing a beer at small huts.

I go nuts in Medellin during the day!

But everyone one is different. You know yourself the best. I did like the weather in Medellin. It can be really hot in Cartagena where as Medellin weather was cool and breezy.

    Good Luck.

The reason I ask is I'm starting to wonder if I should do a week in Cartagena and just five days in Medellin. From everything I've read, after doing the tourist thing Medellin can be very boring during the day.

I know in Argentina, you can get Cialis without a prescription, whereas Viagra in theory requires a prescription, but you can only get brand name Cialis. No generic exists there. That's why I'm guessing it's a patent issue.
There is generic tadalafil now everywhere- the patent has expired.

The casino and bingos / slots didn't seem appealing to me. If you have a Paisa to hang out with it should be a blast, but your trip is short. I would do Cartagena if you have been to Medellin before. But most of my friend says its more expensive and MDE wins.
