Posts: 4026Something we take for granted in the first world is public space design standards. It's not unusual to have to squint or shade your eyes to see past bright spotlights directed at eye level. Sometimes in restaurants I have to angle my chair away from spotlight glare to read the menu or see my table mate. I think part of the problem is the difference between the average height of Colombians and gringos. You have to be really careful with blinding lights while you are walking on broken sidewalks and navigating random deep holes. Some of the buildings around Milla de Oro have floor mounted spotlights on stairs shining into your eyes. It's funny once you get used to it but dangerous until you do.

Posts: 1042My first time around Parque Lleras since barriers were installed
Tonight was my first time in and around Parque Lleras since the traffic barriers were installed. I really like it, but I've never gone there looking for chicas. It appeared the only automobile traffic allowed inside the barriers was for deliveries, and going to / from the parking garage across from Hooters. I imagine they accommodate taxis going to the hotels to pick up and drop off luggage. The loud bar across from Patrick's had turned down their volume. I think a person could actually hear the sports broadcast in Patrick's now. Many of the bars and restaurants had tables set up in the streets. The hotel across from Lleras Town had three flood lights shining right in the face of anyone walking from the west and south towards the hotel. I hope that will be changed.

Posts: 199Maybe they are all pros?
I have a friend from Panama here in the states and she is adamant that every Colombiana she has ever met is actually a prostitute and will take $$$ for sex because it's a part of their culture somehow.
Don't know if that is exactly true however I will say even the Colombianas I have had in a dating situation called me Papi. Ajajajajja.
I dunno but I absolutely love them and plan to fuck their pussies mouths and assholes until my Dick falls off.

Posts: 1173I lost count of how many hookers I've been with in Mexico Brazil or Colombia that were texting their boyfriends or husbands after we were done. They had no clue she was a hooker or cheating. Most people can't do monogamy unless they have no options.

Posts: 112My 2 cents about poor treatment of men by women and vice versa
I've had both normal girls I've dated and working girls tell me horror stories about Colombian guys, which has always made me assume they act worse than guys in the US and Europe. However, there are some hard stats that help illustrate the differences between Colombia and Western developed countries:
1) according to a recent study by Tinder / Bumble of over 600,000 Colombians 8 in 10 guys were unfaithful to their partners and 6 in 10 women were unfaithful to their partner. I'm attaching the link. It's in Spanish but it's amusing. Colombia is number 2 for unfaithfulness behind Brazil in Latin America.

2) Colombia has a way higher level of femicides than the US or Europe (femicides women who are murdered due to their gender). In 2019 there were 570 reported in Colombia a country of over 50 million million. There were 470 reported in the US, a country of over 330 million, and the US is known as the country with the most per capita in the developed world. I had an interesting chat about this with a girl that is studying law in Medellin a while back. I used 2019 because I could easily find stats for that year for both countries.
I think infidelity for men in particular has to do with the culture and the legal system. Men are taught throughout Latin America that having a lot of women is a sign of being a successful man. My father-in-law, who is from Central America, for example, has three or four kids outside of wedlock. Secondly, there are no legal consequences practically for committing violence against women or abandoning kids. I know a couple of women in Medellin who have tried to get child support for their kids from a deadbeat dad but its taken years and both are still waiting for that money (both have six-year-olds). Most don't even bother. As we've seen with scopings, roberries, etc. , the fiscalia (I. E. Prosecutor) does a pretty poor job of investigating and prosecuting most crimes.

Posts: 1173I am an ugly chick, old woman magnet. I don't know if that means I'm ugly, and don't realize it, or my being friendly to all coworkers including ugly ones make them think I'm interested. Weird thing is, I never flirt with unattractive girls. If I'm on lunch break with them, I will talk to them, but I never show sexual interest. One girl said I must be gay because I turned her down. She was a solid 4.
Hot girls on the other hand are like a riddle. You won't solve it unless you say and do and act in a way that triggers her attraction. That takes time.

There must be a list of casas on here but I cannot find it. Can any one point me in the right direction? I am in Medellin for the next week or so so if anyone wants to get together, please send me a PM. Thanks so much.

Almost any Colombian will agree with what you say, no matter what you say. It's deeply ingrained in their culture.
I also spend time talking to girls. Not one has ever mentioned how Colombian men treat her, what she thinks about gringos who overpay, or what she thinks about US politics. I never talk to a working girl about those things, so they never come up.
In the past I spent quite a bit of time with a working girl and her boyfriend. I think now they've been together for about 12 years and have 2 kids together. My impression is that he mostly treats her right.
However, they're poor and he has minimal work skills. He works when he can and she works when she can. Treating her well doesn't feed the family.
