This board used to be dominated by know-nothings. Now all of the sudden all these guys are chiming in with wisdom. Something's up!

There's always going to be guys who won't understand. There are benefits for both parties.

I spent yesterday playing gringo grandpa. It cost me 16 k for my taxi, plus about 4 k in coins, my contribution to a little girl's piggy bank. I got a home cooked meal, made friends with a girl's father (or stepfather, or maybe just her mom's boyfriend), who offered to take me to a strip club. Improved my friendship with her mother, who offered an invitation to a finca and to other family outings. It also taught me a lot about how and where these girls live. As a bonus I got a geography and language lesson.

While most guys are either anxiously waiting for some girl to arrive 2 hours late, or sitting around complaining there's nothing to do, some guys are learning how to coexist.

It doesn't mean I am moving beyond the P4P scene. I'm just finding things to talk about other than cuanto cuesta.

Maybe I just don't like malls. I will say that the malls in Medellín are a lot hotter than the malls in the Yew Ess, and I am not talking about the temperature. I've taken plenty of hookers to dinner, a couple to shows, and one to a horse track. Traveled with three (two were a lot of fun and one was a total PITA, all women I had known for at least a year). Once I bought a hooker a pair of shoes for her birthday and that was an agonizing process until I finally realized she thought they were all too expensive. So then I gave her a price range and we trotted back to her favorite pair's store and were quickly done. But we avoided malls.

It's not just the guys. When the women refuse to take the money, buy you a gift and go completely nuts with jealousy when they catch you with another chick, you know they can fall into the same trap.

I doubt it happens much with guys that do nothing but short time. But when you sleep with the same chicks night after night and they let you into their personal lives it can and does happen.

I now draw a line at meeting a chick's mother and their children. In fact just not getting involved with women with children is probably the best way to avoid those kinds of situations.

Fulfill your fantasies but the power balance is unbalanced from the get go with p4 p girls and you will always buy them in some way I feel.

Secondly, at the risk of being labelled as altruistic and impressionable a gg can have a meaningful conversation, albeit via a translation app, and give her advice that can improve her life. These girls are not stupid, they are aware of the benefits.

OK I've been to Secret Spa and walked away. The hostess on the first floor was drop-dead gorgeous (less than 5 ft and 100 lbs) but she took me to meet the girls upstairs. Nice if you like bigger & taller girls. She said she doesn't session so. I went to Energy! That is the place in Laureles that you need to go. A little awkward to find for sure but they have a big line-up (take a pencil / pen and paper) and you'll see something you like. Not cheap but very good looking girls and nice clean rooms with showers. Definitely the go-to place in Laureles.

Got to find me some *shy* Filipinas when next I return to the Philippines.

Pinays are an outlier in SEA and be / see of their Spanish colonization more closely resemble other Spanish influenced countries like Colombia, Mexico, CR, etc. I'm Not sure about shy, I will say be / see of the strict catholic upbringing there are more pent up / hidden aggressions and more bi-polar Pinays.

Be / see of the English, I would highly recommend the Philippines as a starting point for SEA for those looking to expand outside Medellíand. Unlike medellíand, stuff is easier to find and more clustered. Hard to beat the prices in the casas in centro though and I do find the paisas having a friendlier demeanor, generally, like the Thais.

I've never been to Indonesia and Cambodia. Thai girls will hang with you but (at least in my experience) they still expect you to have the baht handy for quick transfer whereas the Filipinas are a bit more *shy* about asking for pesos even though ALL women want the money for doing the deed.

Got to find me some *shy* Filipinas when next I return to the Philippines.

I tried Secret Spa this afternoon and was sadly disappointed, So far the Blue Room is the clear winner for places near Laureles. At this point, I'd not go anywhere else around Laureles, though I've only been there once. My gut says central is the best place to go. Did a cruise through there Sunday afternoon with a friend. At the Blue room, I had a very cute and enthusiastic young girl, a nice big room, a shower before and after and even sex furniture!

And just for comparison, as there was a great review of Medellin by a guy that had never been to Thailand a week or so ago there is absolutely no comparison between the scene in SEA and MDE. Without too much effort in BKK or Pattaya, you can find whatever it is your looking for, I mean whatever! With exponentially better service at a much better price. I'm not complaining mind you, I'm happy to be living someplace where the game is legal. And there is no way I'd participate here the way I did there. And it gives me a reason to go back to SEA for a visit.

I have been to Thailand and Indonesia in addition to the Philippines and I have found that the girls in those countries like to hang out with foreigners. I understand the same goes for Cambodia and other South East Asian countries as well.
