It depends on how you make the comparison. If you compare casa, for example, Energy in Laureles to typical Clinicas in Sao Paulo. The price is about the same, some are higher, some are lower. The difference being Clinica is cleaner in that you always get a clean towel, clean bed sheet, Listerine in the room, have not had a not working shower yet. GFE is the default. So I will say Sao Paulo is a far better value at this price range.

Sao Paulo has night clubs that can get expensive but again GFE is the default, you can just make out on the sofa for hours before going to the room which I did do in La Isla sometimes too but never to the extend that I can do in Sao Paulo clubs. There is no strippers asking for tips and the working girls rarely ask for drink, tip or upsell, at least I have not encountered one yet. LOL. If you like La Isla, then you will like clubs here. La Isla only has one bar. The clubs in Sao Paulo can have more than one bar, restaurant, pool table, cafe.

That doesn't mean that price is not going to go up over time as Medellin becomes more well-known and more Gringos float in but that's due to the number of Gringos and the increased demand they create and not the price they pay. If the number of Gringos increases and the number of putas equally increase to compensate for the increased demand then he price will stay the same.

I am looking to enjoy myself in Medellin, but cognizant of economics, especially in light of these past couple weeks about Supply and Demand conversations. Therefore I want a sanity check on prices per hour of girls. To me, $5 or $10 either way doesn't matter, but there's more to it than just me. Five bucks one time could mean $5 the second, and $5 the third, and so on.

Doing my research online of prepagos, many many of them are ball parking 150,000 COP per hour. I have been reading this forum for a bit now and this is what I have come to understand. Please vet my information for accuracy:

El Centro: 60 K COP is a reasonable rate, but for 30 minutes or hour? (from what I have read here. Assume no CIM, etc).

Online Girls: a range of 100 to 150 K per hour, that about right? (I saw an advert for 250 K, but just figured it was either bogus or she's vying for the WIN!

Massage Casa: set prices, but typically between 80 K to 130 K for 90 minutes?

Loutron: 300 K, set with no wiggle room. What is the time duration?

Gusto: 200 to 300 K, but goes for 2 hours to overnight. That sound right?

Parque Llares: range from 120 K (unknown time) to 400 K (for 3 hours)? That sound right?

Those prices are about right (other than 60 k high for Centro chica unless you're including the room in that).

IMO the longer times are irrelevant unless you've previously test-driven the chica in a short (one hour or so) session. There's little to gain and lots to lose by agreeing to a long-term deal with a girl you don't already know. First, there's always a good chance she cuts the encounter short inventing some excuse that she has to leave. Second, you might not like her nearly as much once she gets in the room with you.
