I arrived in Medellin yesterday and decided to walk around el Centro at about 4 pm. It had just stopped raining, so maybe there were less people around.

But I felt safe walking around Plaza Botero, because amongst the vagabondas (homeless), there were lots of regular people taking photos around the statues etc. I walked around the streets where the SW's hang out and to be honest, I was seriously disappointed at the quality of the girls. I have pretty low standards, so I wasn't looking for 7's or 8's. Just a normal girl who is a 5 or 6 would be sufficient. Maybe the rain had scared some of them away.

Then I walked to Parque Berrio station to see if there were any girls hanging around the stairways, and there were only 2 - one of which looked very suspect.

So, I tried to look for the coffee / candy girls, and again I was very disappointed. The ones they show on YouTube vids are pretty hot! But the few I saw were much older, and definitely not bangable.

Is there another area where the coffee / candy girls hang out? I'd like to try my luck with them.

Absolutely correct info from ColombiaLover. Even today which was St. Joseph's Day the FB girls were not checking their messages. Most businesses were closed down for this religous holiday. Luckily I had a couple contacts to visit me that didn't need to attend family events like most are required. If it's the only time you can come DogLife I would aim for the chicas de Venezuela in el centro. It's just another day for them. Search out the Veracruz street walkers earlier in the day and then by 4 PM you can hit Conjitos and Grille Nueva which are close to each other across from Botero Plaza. Their best girls are usually on site by 4 PM.

But for Colombianas it's probably the "leanest time of year" next to the couple weeks around Christmas. These sexually free spirited chicas are quite religous and their parents are very religous so religous holidays are traditonally spent as special family times together.

Also I will ad getting alcohol is difficult during this time and also, all the love hotels, casa and strip clubs close down. The whole city is boring for that entire week.

Not a dig at you, but I find it interesting that I've been on numerous forums here (Havana, Medellin, Cali) and there is always talk about new people 'ruining it' for the experienced mongers. Technically, I'm a 'newbie' to Colombia, but I'm an experienced monger. I'd like to think that the target should be non-mongers generally, rather than new people. People who take the time to RTFF and act accordingly, although new, shouldn't be punished for being new.

100% true. In fact, while in Colombia, Alaska and I were saying that every board on ISG has like three types of posters:

1) The Cucumber. The "I am new help me out" poster.

3) The Curmudgeon - "this city isn't like it used to be, it used to be much better, it's too expensive now and there are too many people coming here" poster.

It's been a while since I posted a report in this forum. I have kept my mongering on the low in the past few years, but I had an experience I needed to share with you folks.

I have been doing quick visits in Medellin and seeing a couple of my regular girls that I met thru ads in Mileroticos and Photoprepagos. Gringos in El Centro increased perhaps by 200-300 percent in the last two years. Before 2020, and especially before 2015, there were few gringos there. Also the behavior and social background tend to be different. Now many gringos hang around and talk loud at Plaza Bolivar while the pre-covid gringos use to keep low profile. Some of the guys are argumentative with locals and they were kicked out of the hotels and restaurants, and some of them were arrested. Most of the gringos in the last decade were professionals with college degree or advanced degrees. A majority of El Centro gringos today are high school graduates, very few speak Spanish, and many of them are anti=vaxxers.

I like to go places where there is little to no Gringos. I like the local feel that is untainted. I agree about El Centro and the influx of Simps. A lot hang out in the plaza near the museum and centro comercial. Older guys talking loud with the young chicas drinking and listening to Reggaeton. They really think that they got it going on. LOL. Little do they know that's not "living".

If a chica speaks understandable English, quotes in dollars, hangs out in Poblado regularly she is probably being tainted. Chicas migrate between El Centro and Poblado. A better experience for me is to avoid most Gringo hangouts and areas. I prefer parts of town that cater mostly to locals. The cultural experience is much better, personalities are more genuine and believe it or not the food is more authentic. Commercialized food is not always the answer. Colombian middle class and up are my target areas. The price for everything is lower and the chicas aren't on that Western / USA / Europe bullshyt.

Traveling to mid sized cities is a good idea for avoiding most Gringos. There are all kinds of nice cities in Colombia that have minimal Gringo exposure.

You convinced me. You should go back to the Philippines. But seriously, the biggest change in Medellin I noticed in the past 15 years is how many more girls freelance off the Internet vs. Casas. I think the casas have declined more than any other scene. Ten years ago the quality at Energy was head and shoulders above the Centro places. Now the biggest difference is the price. As I written more than once, the supply outstrips the demand enough that gringos, pandemics, tour groups, and whatever else doesn't really have a lot of impact on anybody who isn't in weekend warrior mode.

I agree with you and others that I feel like Centro has declined the most between 2019 and late 2021, which was my last visit to MDE. FB scene hasn't been affected as much except for general price inflation. Maybe it's because a lot of guys don't know the FB scene and FB girls don't work the streets, so they're separate markets. As I said in one of my previous reports, last time I went to Centro, I saw a few small groups of middle age to older gringos drinking beer and talking on the benches, like you'd see in the SEA bars, something I never expected to see in Medellin.

I feel like if someone's never been to Colombia, it's a real novelty at first. The girls here are more beautiful, but like all things, if you come a lot you will get used to it eventually. Additionally there are a few things I miss from the Angeles City that'll probably bring me back there.

- Girls in AC understand basic English so it's easier to communicate simple instructions and to get to know each other at a basic level.

- Long time in AC costs a little less than TLN in MDE.

- No waiting in AC, you can get action almost any time you want.
