I know it sounds funny but, I speak from experience. There was no encounter, but something occurred with 2 girls in my place that lead me to this strategy of hiding the large kitchen knives. Then open the browser type Claro and hopefully you can figure out how to navigate to the Claro store. There you can buy a package like 3000 for SMS and Internet and phone call minutes for 3 days. Purchase package. They have all sorts of packageS. Then wait 5 minutes and you will receive confirmation your packages activated. If it is different in med than in Cali someone can tell you about it here on the forUm.

It's better to recharge at the grocery store than with a credit card. Because the cell phone may actually save your credit card for purchases in the future. So someone steals your phone they can recharge it if the card is saved to the account. Where the puck is the delete credit card button?

I'm heading down to Colombia this week and was wondering if I can get a prepaid SIM card for my old unlocked Samsung phone. I would rather leave my actual phone in the apartment in case I get pickpocketed or robed. It's only happed to me once in Mexico but better safe than sorry. Yes, you can get a sim card that fits your phone at any of the carriers' stores. I would not buy a card from a street vendor or a little store, there's a chance it would be a stolen card.
