Just got back from MDE. I have to admit the most beautiful women I've seen anywhere in the world especially on the street. Had a great time until a member of our group died of a heart attack Saturday night. His wife thought he was on a golfing trip in the USA If you can't tell your wife or significant other that you are on a fishing or hiking trip or whatever exactly where you are going, it is best to just stay home. Anything can happen. We had to leave his body in Colombia.

Well that sucks. Did any of you tell the wife?

Sorry to read about your friend. The article mentioned two girls, and my thoughts went right to the girls possible poisoned him, with a drug called Scopolamina which can easily be delivered by dropping it in liquor, which I read was around the room along with vomit. I figured the girls may have given him too much and his body tried to eliminate it. Any take on this?

Thanks for your response. Now things are making more sense. The report on the guy with the heart attack also says that they found liquor in his room and he was accompanied by two women.

It seems like the two guys were partying too hard and they were no dudes, one in his forties and another in the 50's. To help prevent this type of thing is why I started drinking water instead of hard liquor, no drugs and just one puta at a time.

Thanks for completing the unfortunate story and sharing. That cleared or the false speculation by media or anyone here guessing. Hope you recover from the lost of your friend and come back to Medellin. That lady that rode away in the car and so many others will be waiting for you LOL. Come back next time in a smaller group or alone. That unfortunate incident was clearly a health problem of your friend that wasn't Medellin's fault. As you noted, it was one of your best trip ever so why stop going there?

Sorry about the hard stops in my previous post was done on my tab. Me and a friend hooked up with chicas we met on CC they didn't know each other. My girl was absolutely beautiful, better than her pictures. His girl brought a hot friend for our other roomie. The second night my girl bought a hot young thing for our other roomie so he got two nice string along on our first two nights. Do the Turibus and Pablo tour which you can catch at Park Pablado. We saw an absolute 12 at the Premier Plaza mall. Overlook the city from Club Envy on top of Hotel Charlee, it's awesome. Mondongo soup is the absolute best as is the whole fried tilapia. Water went out in Pablado on my last day so I moved to the Ibh Hotel. That place is lux for about 80 bucks. They did ID the chica that was with me but no fee. Believe me do not do centro at night alone. I did not like the vibe at La Barra. Might be a good stop if you like plastic and grunge.
Due to the unfortunate incident mentioned in my previous post I doubt that I will go back to Medellin, one of my best trips ever. Next stop Cartagena.

WTF! That is terrible. I am curious what happened to the guy in your group. How did he get a heart attack? What is with a chica and too much Viagra or Cialis? Was he very old or extremely obese? You guys had to leave his body in Colombia. Is the wife in the USA coming to Colombia to get the body and who is telling her what he was doing in Colombia? You are right is not good to lie to your significant others about where you are when you traveling because anything can happen. That apartment building is called the "Edificio Gauss". It is located the the corner of Carrara 38 and Calle 11 be. A few weeks ago, I was shown an apartment in that building. I found it on AirBnB and I looked at it as a possible place to stay on a future trip. I did not get the impression that many gringos rent there.

Gauss is next to gringo tower. San Pedro de Alcatraz. It was the first building I ever rented in when I first came to Medellin in 2009. It was Also where that Swiss tourist commited suicide. That kind of curved the short term renting there for a bit.

I am a paid member. USA has the most but cities like Medellin have quite a few because there are quite a few h00 kers in Medellin. You don't have to be a paid member to browse the "inventory" Artisttyp. One thing you can do is join for a month and contact a shit ton of girls and then at the end of the month cancel the subscription. Make sure you get as many Whatsapp numbers, phone numbers or Facebook contact info as possible before you cancel because once you cancel you won't be able to contact them via the site. I've been building my FB contacts to the point that I rarely use Seeking Arrangement outside of the USA anymore to be honest with you, in my opinion FB is the way to go in any country.

I've joined several times and both times ended up in an LTR with a younger girl here in American. Free to join and browse but if you want to actually contact anyone you got to pay. About $70 a month I think. I never even browsed the girls from MDE as the young pussy is so easy to get there and would think you would need Spanish skills in excess of mine. In any case in the US several kinds of girls. 9's and 10's looking for real sugar daddies to put them on allowances (think $5 k a month). I plan on visiting Medellin next week and plan to stay for two weeks.

I arrived late Tuesday night. Didn't do much because of rain. This is my second foray into Colombia, First was 3 yrs ago to Cartagena. I hooked up with a friend who is familiar with the lay of the land here.

Hit Centro Wednesday. Didn't see much talent in Parque Bolivar. First stop was New Life. Unfortunately we got there around 12:30 p and it was crowded, with more mongers arriving. The presentation had a few choice ladies. But most were thick. Big fat asses actually, with cellulite. :eek: 3 years ago, in Cartagena, I did not see girls this big. There were none to my liking so we left.

My friend suggested Affie which was nearby. They were also busy, so we only saw about 5 ladies. 2 had the big fat asses.

Club de Amigas Sexy was the next stop. The lineup here was better. My friend and I liked the same petite sexy blonde. He went with her and I went with a sexy big ass brunette without cellulite. I chose the 1 hour option for 50 K. Cons: no hot water, small thin towel. CBJ. CBJ, really?? It's the norm here she said. (I don't recall that in Cartagena 3 years ago.).

Don't believe everything you read in the news. There was one bottle of liquor in the apartment which had been purchased a couple of days before, and which was almost empty at the time of the incident. There were maybe three bottles of beer. Our friend was complaining of acid reflux on the day of arrival and rubbed the left side of his chest several times. He was taking Tums to relieve his discomfort. This man weighed well over 300 lbs and was staying in a fourth floor apartment with no elevator. I do not think there is one flat area in Poblado. You are either walking uphill or down. The airport elevation is 7000 feet. You descend to 4000 feet at Medellin.

He and his roommate were together the whole time they were there. Although they were seen with two girls earlier he was not alone with two girls. He was perfectly fine when I saw him at 530 pm.

He died around 730 or 8. He was alone in the apartment with his buddy when he started having difficulties. They were not going to hang out with us Saturday night because they had to leave for the airport at 4 am. Of course we were concerned about his body and were told that it would have to be handled by the US and Colombian embassies. There is a criminal investigation being conducted but all indications point to a sudden heart attack. There were absolutely no drugs involved. He did not die in the street. He died in the apartment. Why they laid him in the street I don't know.

I am sorry for your loss. I don't think people are trying to put poison on dude' name. Just speculation and shitty reporting by Colombian Media. And the money on favorite would be either chica event gone wrong or drugs.

RIP to your friend all my best to his family and loved ones.

You are absolutely right and make some great points. First- I believe more trip reports would be posted here (with the kind of information that actually helpful) but those who actually can provide any valuable reporting figure "Why bother" posting? Because what happens 90% of the time when any newcomer or anyone who is not well known who tries to report, ask a question or comment they are mocked, one upped, judged, criticized, ridiculed or told RTFF. The spirit of ISG has been totally lost on this forum. Your post got me thinking- in a few weeks I will spend 6 days in CTG and 6 days in MDE. I just tried for the 1st time (Tinder and Colombia Cupid) and can't believe how hot some of these girls I've been skyping with are. I have every reason to believe that.

This next trip will be absolutely epic and if not I will find a way to make it epic (Read my last CTG trip report for a sample) - But why would I share my MDE trip portion here? Where the people on this board have ruined it for everybody. I keep coming back to this forum hoping it has changed but it never does.
