Less supply means higher prices I would think. They certainly will not all move to centro. And the ones that do will likely still want Poblado prices.

I wonder what these changes will do to prices outside of Poblado? Will it scare away the El Centro warriors and Tinseltown weekend transients or will they just funnel to other venues like el cento and Facebook. If this last six months we'll sure find out. I'm hoping a price drop comes out of this.

Well. One thing for sure is that these Poblado girls will not be able to charge 250 mil or more in Botero. They will have to go to Facebook or work in casas or clubs or something if they want to continue to charge their exorbitant prices. I think the ones that do end up going (back) to the Botero / Veracruz area will have to charge 50 mil at most or else they won't get any customers.

That area makes tons of money off the foreigners but are now being punished because of the foreigners. It was not just the one American that caused this. IN other news the underage problems have continued to rise with the rise in tourists. Some locals may not be very happy with the foreigners at the moment so keep your head down! They may be made at you for loss of business and / or think you are a pedo. Be careful out there.

For those of you who can't read Spanish, this article says that Mayor Fico Gutiérrez just signed some new decretos prohibiting prostitution in and around Parque Lleras, parque el poblado, Provenza and the surrounding areas starting now and for a period of 6 months.
