Preparing for my return to Medellin. I have a few more questions if anyone can help. So I understand after sundown the Centro gets sketchy after the businesses close and all the police leave.

1. What time do strip clubs in the Centro open.

2. Is it safe to hang out in the Strip clubs in the Centro at night after the casa's close?

3. Are there showers in the casa's and strip clubs? Or do you have to go to your hotel to shower inbetween sessions?

Yes, all the strip clubs starting with Fase II http://www.clubfasedos.com/ you can pay the club a exit fee to have the girl come with you also although that will be a lot cheaper in the Centro clubs. The Centro clubs usually want a 50 k or so exit fee ($17) At least in the strip clubs you can test drive 1st before taking off the lot.

Many of the clubs will have working girls inside, or they will be walking up and down the streets around the park. The most well known club for working girls is Gusto. Things don't really get busy until 11 pm and Sunday through Tuesday are slow nights unless Monday is a holiday.

It's simple. Go inside and order a drink. Look for the girls who are staring at you, or who are motioning you to come over. Most of them are fairly obvious. Expect the price to be high. They'll see Google translate and automatically double or triple their usual rate.

You won't need a fiador for a 1 month furnished rental. A fiador is only needed for a long term lease and typically only for unfurnished apartments.

If you get off the metro at Estadio and walk south on 70 there are a couple of agencies that rent furnished apartments. One on each side, just a few blocks south of the station. Don't know what they have to offer.

I like to use apartments I rent on airbnb. No problems bringing chicks back so far. The key is to rent from corporations and people with a lots of listings--they're less likely to give a shite if you're using their place as a love pad. If you're unsure just ask if they allow visitors.

There's also http://pobladorentals.com/ and https://www.apartmentinternational.com . I haven't used either but both explicitly told me they don't mind guests.

Anyone have other favorite low-key casas? I don't do the high-dollar places, looking for the normal local price casas. Happy to meet up this week with anyone who wants to kick around.

For low key and open very early and very late (like 10 a to 4 am) I like Yakusa at Cra 50 a #53-38, (across from Hotel Botero and behind Hotel Nutribarra) they have a couch and some chairs and they serve beer etc. However their rooms are not so good but they allow free takeout to close by hotels for 45 k 1/2 HR. I think the Hotel Deseros right next door is a short term or would be cheap anyway.
