Quite a bit of talk here about ATM's so I'd like to offer my advice, especially for first timers. Overall using ATM's in Medellin at least was a bit of a nightmare. When you first arrive at the airport this is your best opportunity to load up on as much cash as possible. As you exit arrivals go up the stairs and use the cash machines there and just as you exit the terminal back downstairs there are some just to the left.

There are some machines in the airport which I can't remember the name of which as far as I can remember were giving up to 600,000 - 900,000 free. I would recommend using a number of different cards for withdrawls, prepaid cards work well for this.

Back in Medellin I never saw these machines again. The only free one that worked in Medellin was BBVA but the limit was 300,000 which is nothing especially if you have a card that charges after a certain amount of uses which mine will start to do next month. BBVA was very hit and miss, sometimes the atms worked and sometimes they did not, one night I had a taxi driver drive me around a few BBVA machines trying to find a working one. I know it was not just my card as others would leave the ATM shaking their head and telling me its not working.

Some atms just flat out did not work with my cards, bancocolombia was one and I think Bogota bank. The other guys I was with experienced similar issues. I never had these issues with atms around the world before.

The whole thing was a bit annoying as I would get worried if I was going to run out of cash especially if I needed some for the day ahead. At one point I got fed up dealing with atms and just decided to withdraw a large amount, over 1 million as far as I can remember from daviendenda and pay the fee which was around $30-$40 USD but it would not work when I declined their exchange rate and even when I accepted it, so I was stuck with BBVM and one other which worked with a fee directly across from BBVM on 70 a block from mondongos.

So as I said, get as much as possible at the airport spread over a number of cards. If anybody knows exactly where the free machines are in Medellin, the same as at the airport please share as I will be there next month for an extended period.

Multiple chicas have warned me not to hang out in the area and generally not visit late in the afternoon. In fact one girl suggested that if they see someone regularly visiting, it won't be long before that person becomes a target..

Having, mostly, done the hobby in South East Asia. I'm split between Costa Rica and Colombia once this covid BS is over with. Do you recommend any other casas where there are slim girls? Yes, I know. It's going to be harder to locate Bangkok / Jakarta slim body type over in the West. This is from my take away from the posts / images on the forum. 3. K and mil are the same. It means "thousand. " So 20 mil is 20,000. Some guys and girls simply say 20. For miliones, just add three more zeros. And COP is "Colombian pesos. ".

And always, always, always ask / say. 20 mil (50 mil, 150 mil, 200 mil whatever the fee is) COP!? I have heard & never want to get into this situation of them changing the 150 k COP to $150 USD after the session.
