Are there any Medellin clubs where you can pick up girls and bring them back to your apartment? This is common in Asia haven't seen in Colombia at all?

Also any advice on pickups from Romance Latina. Got a few replies with phone numbers but no texts back.

All the clubs provide take out. They all charge you a fee for take outs which is not cheap. It's best to get the girls phone number and call her. Never pay her more that what the club charges. I always pay less. There are lost of girl available with out going to clubs and for a lot less.

It varies widely, some places charge maybe 50K-70K for the fine and you pay either 200K total or the fine plus 200K.

Some places in Cartagena have TLN with no fine or fine included, others the fine is 100K-200K and I have heard of some that now charge more, which is ridiculous. You usually pay the girl about the same there. More eexpensive for sure but then you the LDVs and such where it winds up being about the same price anyway with no bar fine.

I would say on the low low end you're looking at 100K TLN, high high end maybe 800K but really more like 200K-400K would be the real range in Colombia

That $200 can be spent on buses / trains with money left over unless there is a specific reason you want to stay in Centro. I stayed there once. Never again. Girls just don't want to go there.

BTW, get a Charles Schwab account. They refund all ATM fees.

Why would any one want to stay in Centro? I would leave my dog there. I live in Laureles and can walk to get what ever I need. It is only 10 min's. To go most places in Medellin by taxi.

They are certainly not "posh" LOL, they are both as you said basically restaurant / bar type settings, very simple. Gordos has a lot of stairs, I think, just one regular flight of them up to Manzana.

Bunch of tables, a bar, some space to dance if you feel like it and some booze.

I would tread lightly there. We are talking late at night, we are talking a lot of drunkenness / drugging and we are talking about places that have had incidents. But overall it's good to know there's always SOMETHING open, no?

As I recall, both clubs are above street level and have the feel of an empty apartment with several smallish rooms with tables & chairs. I was there only until 1am before I took a girl who came from Bogota to 'work'. The session was fine but as written above it is a place where you will find chicas that work elsewhere and the pricing was in line with the strip clubs & therefore slightly more expensive than La Mayorista.

It is probably common knowledge but I wanted to share that if you are looking for after hours action and have the comfort level to be around nothing but Colombians you can get a good dose of after hours in Medellin. I know IT Travel previously reported on La Manzana, but I had never checked it out. Went with a Costeno buddy last night, he knew everybody. It's basically a bunch of the chicks from the Centro Strip clubs and a good handful from San Diego, Fase II and a couple others that escape my mind. The girls are still after it and willing to cut deals. I did not partake as I had already had a long day / afternoon / night.

But what I had not seen previously mentioned here or on another forum was an after-after hours place. Around 8 AM or 9 AM, La Manzana closes up and the action shifts to a joint called Gordos or Los Gordos, which is nearby. .
