In the US we over pay (because we allowed the market to get this way) and we get lousy service.

Today, I was looking (in N. VA, USA) for a GFE and I find an OK who charges 280 for the hour, I asked about GFE and she said yes but she really does not do much on the kissing specially French; how is this GFE.

That's what I've been trying to say here for awhile but no one believes me. I've been to some amazing fincas for the weekend with some affluent Colombians I know, these guys would never even think about looking for 40K COP chicas in centro or mayorista, that's the lowest of the low for them! :)

But I know we've got airfares and hotel fees to pay so it's a bit different for us visitors. I like a broad range of experiences, from low to high end. All I'm saying is it's nice to splurge on some quality Colombian poontang now and then.

Of course, that's as long as the fees aren't crazy, the girl has the right attitude, was negotiable, etc. I'm trying to give the appearance of being a paying customer. Afterwards, I do what you and all the other guys do.

Probably in Medellin it doesn't matter as much, but in certain areas of Bogota, having the management think well of you can help prevent certain nasty and scary things from happening to you, although it's important NOT to give the impression that you're there to blow money left and right.

Got news for you all, there are many Colombians here that can and do pay 300, 000 to 500,000 a night for Paisas. If you can't afford it, stay home, its their country. There are many low end places to go, stay there.

I was in Medellin more than 20 times in the last 3 years, I know all of the caasa in meddelin, this time I visit 3 times, Lutron, 3 girls in smal casa in the cenrto call new life are better than 80 procent of the girls in Lutron, in new life you pay 35000, for 30 minutes and 45000 for 60 minutes, and in Lutron, you pay 170000, for 60 minutes, it is realy stupid to pay this prices in Colombia, as 99 procent of the furigen man in medelin are americans, I don't belive any german or itaslian man will pay 170000 if he can, take 3 or 4 girls in 4 diffrent casas, belive me if the americns will stop to pay this prices and stop to go there, half of the girls will live this place and will go to work in other cassa in center or around meddelin, I visit 9 cassas in this week, and each place have 1 or 2 beutiful girls there, I take even girls from this places for al night for 60000 to 80000, don't drive the priice high, this san diego is shit 1 year olerady, nothing to complain just don't go there, meddelin nead a good night club like help in Rio, very bad night life in medelin, but the girls are the must butiful in the world, I live 20 years in Rio, and the meddelin girls are more beutiful even that the brasilian girls in the pace.

I frequent the place alot, and it has pissed me off to see the prices rise soo much in so little time, but 1/2 of it is due to the dollars weakness and not the owners pure greed, however he does say that his bussniess his multas and girl room fees come majority from gringos probly like75% of his bussniess is from gringos, many colombians frequent the place but they just drink and take up a girls time, they buy bottles of rum or "firewater" and get shitfaced a few take the girls into the back room it does occur, and as towards gringos in the place, 2 years ago and maybe just maybe there would be a few gringos there 4 at the most maybe 5, over the past 2 months i have counted 10 plus gringos on many frequent occassions.

The owners aren't stupid. They know what's going on what with the guys and the chicas hooking up outside and after the club shuts down. I can sort of understand their point of view, from a businessman's perspective. They've put I imagine at least 50-100 million pesos into the venue, but if people are hooking up outside, they're going to respond by keeping a closer eye on the girls and jacking up the prices of multas and drinks.

If they've created a venue for you to hook up with prepagas, they need a piece of the action. 10K pesos for a beer is not enough to keep them open for business! :)

So you end up in a vicious cycle and it sucks. I'm not sure if anything can be done about this.

When I visit these kinds of places I try to talk and introduce myself to the manager/owner/mamasan (I speak fluent Spanish) because I don't like the idea of being a complete stranger to the owner/manager, especially if I'm coming in alone.

I also usually try to talk to the doorman or one of the waiters/bartenders about prices and girls. I either session inside or do a take-out with the multa at least once. . . so I demonstrate to the owners and the guys that work there I'm not a complete flake or cheapskate.

Maybe that's stupid of me because it costs me more upfront. But I'd rather have them think of me as a good customer as opposed to a cheapo or an overpaying sucker. I figure that might help me in some way in the future. And in any case, this is still Colombia and I don't think it's a good idea to [CodeWord140] off any of the locals, especially the ones that work in these kinds of venues.

what are the current drug laws in Colombia? Also, how easy, or difficult, is to buy?

The first question I wouldn't even bother asking. If you run afoul of the authorities with drugs on you, you're fucked. DO NOT CARRY DRUGS. Do the deal discreetly, in a bar or small restaurant (sometimes even convenience store!) and proceed DIRECTLY back to your room.

Particularly in Cartagena. Close to LDV on the main street is a sort of Police kiosk. My friends and I (who look like young americans) have been stopped repeatedly here and searched for drugs, once by a scary-looking commander-type who was playing with this HUGE bowie knife.

As long as you practice common sense, drugs are ridiculously easy to buy. If you don't have a connection, the best (and safest) way is to ask the girls. I used to ask taxi drivers, but that is an amateur move. They will always add a surcharge, and could very easily set you up, and are already on the lookout for tourists. The girls are less likely to do that, and when I've gone through them, I end up paying the local price, as they most likely will want in on the fun.

If you happen to visit Cartagena, the white is sold in the girl's bathroom at LDV (lol!) for reference, the price there was 10k for what in the States would be considered a 40 bag (the quality, by american standards, is increadible. the stuff they sell in LDV has that shiny pink look to it). In Medellin, the same 10k got me roughly the same amount, maybe a bit more. Purchasing in bulk is tough (unless you are a hardcore user) because these guys can see a tourist coming. I was refused sale of any LESS than 10g from this one guy (claimed it waste his time), and that set me back 150k. Thats probably pricey but whatever. We had 5g leftover on the last day, so just said fuck it and gave it to the girls (they loved that)

If you are looking for the green it is slightly harder to find, shockingly. It is of bad quality and dirt cheap (basically free- the guy I got the 10g from gave me what must have been a half ounce- I asked him how much and he just waved me off. This is now my permanent guy in CTG)

Anywho, just to reiterate, find a girl you like and trust (somewhat) and obtain this stuff through her, you'll be safe. Do NOT however, under any circumstances, follow her to any pickup location. Make her go get it and pay her cab fare, or get her taxista buddy to do it (they all have these, guys that will run them errands at night, i.e. food/drinks to your hotel room if they are hungry)

It would take more than just foreign mongers to Boycott any San Diego or Medellin girlie location for that matter to make a difference. Look around you the next time you are in SD and you will see that 95% of the customers or better are Colombians.

A true Boycott would be to stay away from Medellin altogether. So where is a Monger to go?

As for me I love Medellin but man places like Angeles City can quickly make you forget the high prices and bad services of Medellin Paisas which is becoming all to frequent.

Took this photo last week at the Doll House in Angeles City at the Tuesday body paint show. The Doll House is open 24 hours and girls range from $35usd to $70usd for all night. The highest $70usd rate is when you take a painted girl on Tuesday. However, the same girl is only $48usd any other day when she is not painted up. About 200 girls work the Doll House throughout the day and night. Any night though the girls give the same GFE action in the sack. The newest girlie joint is Atlantis which is slightly higher in rate but has better quality as well but less quantity (about 100 girls at night only). Atlantis also has a painted girl show on Wednesday nights. Other big establishments like Nero's houses about 250 girls with wild shows nightly.

I don't know what a gringo monger boycott will do. Every day I went there the place was reasonably full, and more importantly, myself and my wingman were the only gringos that I saw in the place.

Sure, I had a girl try that 150K crap with me. I told her that I knew what the prices where here and it dropped to 100k. Was OK, but I've had better. I have had girls in the el centro clubs try the same crap, 80-100K for 30 mins. I tell them I know the rates and it drops to 50K or less. One thing I notice about the strip clubs is that many of these girls aren't getting taken to to the back for 30 min sessions very often.

Once again, WE ARE IN CONTROL HERE. We have the money, and if a girl doesn't like our price, we just go to another of the 2 dozen strip clubs or 50 MPs and casas in Medellin. The problem arises when guys get tunnel vision on one girl and "have to have her". Then they start agreeing to all kinds of shit. I will admit that that has happened to me before and I have learned from it.

Personally, while the girls in San Diego were hot, the exit fee was so outragous that I don't think I would ever bother taking a girl out of the club like that. Much easier to get her (or the 20 other working chicas that look like her in Medellin) number and call her later.
