I am to tag along with some buddies to go the Buenos Aires area bars and discos. I know its dangerous and wanted to know I can tag along in a group. Or can someone give me some information on the area?

In some Latin countries (Peru, Costa Rica etc.) and in the Caribbean there's casinos where you can bet on US baseball, basketball, football games etc. But I never found that in Colombia. Also, I like to play video blackjack, but never found that in Colombia.
But in el centro Medellin there a whole bunch of small casinos, mostly only doing the slot thing.

I've been to el centro Medellin a numerous amount of times and I can tell you, there's a lot of more casinos there than the ones my good friend World Travel 69 has listed. Most are smallish and only offer slots and not much more. And to Mr. Enternational casinos are boring when you lose; when you win money the world is a wonderful place.

Posts: 30Over exaggerated apparel advice, I disagree
IDK about you guys but I do think that you are all exaggerating in telling someone to dress in a specific way or otherwise you will be socially "outcast". I may not go the whole NFL Jersey with shorts and sandals route, but I don't dress like the average Colombian (I usually wear skinny denim jeans, a regular t-shirt, pair of Jordan's and usually with a snap back or fitting cap.) I certainly have not had problems with getting pussy non-pro or pro.

Posts: 454Excellent advice, dressing nice is rule number one. It goes a long way with projecting yourself in a positive way. Sneakers and shorts doesn't cut it with Colombian women whether working girls or not. I have seen on more then one occasion a Colombian working woman turn down a potential customer because he looked like a clown.

Posts: 4034Some people prefer loud music and hookers in the casino. You won't find much of either in Medellin casinos.

As in your case, sometimes you must play the seduction game for a while but. What is the hurry? When we final get the goal, it's a much better experience than what a professional can provide. That's my experience anyway.
I'll visit Medellin soon and I hope I can have some success there with "regular" girls.
Best regards.

I don't think I saw many hats, especially cowboy hats.
It's great town though, make sure to venture out and go to places like Trilogia Live Bar or something.

Posts: 454I will also answer 2 of your questions as other member did. I like his thought of numbering them.
#3 yes if you are out at night, you will definitely be asked if you want to make a purchase. I been there 3 times and it's all over the place.
#4 yes I agree leave the cowboy hat at home.
If it's your first time I guess Medellin hotel or whatever it's called is good, but I don't speak espanol and I just rented a nice condo off Airbnb or whatever it's called. I prefer a condo because I like to make my Martini through out the day and I didn't have a doorman. I party hard but am street smart and know how to maneuver around. But I don't recommend this if your not sure of scams and doping.
Good Luck with your trip and you can always pm me.

Posts: 29First time and first impression in Medellin
First I have to say the girls are a lot prettier IMHO than in Tijuana. Flew in and no problems with taxis from the airport to the Poblado area. All the facebook contacts are getting old and I see one. She was so nice. Stayed way past the time and hanged out with me. In park Lleras there are two streets perpendicular to each other where the prepagos stand. They all know each other and there is one liquor store in the park area with the trees where they all hang out.
2nd girl I got was supposedly new in my apartment complex. More on the white side and she was great too. Ill post pics but I don't want my junk showing. We actually hung out at Santa Fe mall, when to Santo Domingo for the metro.
Now people are suggesting I go Fase 2.
I am looking for the really high end ones. Someone please PM me where to find the high end ones. I like they ones that look very European.

1. I have never had an independent chica in Medellin ask for the money upfront. Casas make their own rules, but I don't think any are out to rip you off.
2. There are many USA Style restaurants around Parque Llerus. Standard prices for food and drinks are a little more there than most other areas. Many restaurants have reduced prices in the afternoon. In the evenings, there are almost always many people there. I have seen some working chicas there, but none that caused my heart to flutter. I am usually out of that area by 10 or 11 pm, so that may be a reason.
3. I have never been approached for that purpose.
4. I think you should leave the cowboy hat at home.
5. No advantages at all, but quite a few disadvantages. You will get a better exchange rate at an ATM, you will not have a large amount of money on you or where you are staying, ATM's are more convenient than cambios, you can take advantage of fluctuations in the exchange rate by using an ATM (that can be good and bad, just like the stock market). I have noticed the ATM's give an exchange rate tied to the previous day's market rate, so that may help you.
6. I have never used Mileroticas, but I have read reports from guys who have used them. All good reports as best I remember.
7. All the same place. You can add Hotel M to that list. They change the name quite often.
