How strict is mask wearing in Medellin? Do you have to wear them walking down the street? Thanks.
No you don't have to, but they require you to use it when you enter in a shop or even in a restaurant, which is so stupid, because as soon as you seat you can remove it. But people are stupid, there is nothing you can do about that.
Definitely possible. My ex-girlfriend from Brazil applied for a transit visa and they gave her a 10 year tourist visa as well. He never said the visa she received was a student visa. He just said that is what she applied for.
The student visa is for a specific school and the visa holder must be a full time student. The length of a student visa does not mean anything if the student is not a student at the same school anymore. Tuition is not cheap in US so the student must be able to afford it or be able to get a scholarship. For some student visa is easy but for most it is not easy.
Hey how come if you guys think my jokes are not Funny, how come I think my jokes are funny? I'm not trolling here Guys this is an honest question.Honestly, guys.
Are there actually any funny guys in here?
I told her, "You can have a free ice cream, baby."
Funny does not come across well in a typed post where people come looking for information. Sarcasm, and all that just does not come over in typed print and the context is all wrong. Not to mention not everyone has the same sense of humor. If your friends and family think you are funny it is because they know you and the context is conducive to humor.
I realize that everything else you said in your post is accurate and the part about "unarmed security guard" is even probably true in most buildings. But the head security guy at Edificio Energy Living carries is a semi-automatic pistol in a holster.
I'm currently in an airbnb near parque lleras and the doormen here are kind of a pain. Keep in mind I don't speak fluent spanish, but from what I gathered they are hesitant to allow visitors because they are afraid of a visitor bringing covid into the building. Again, I'm not 100% sure that's what the guard was saying to me but I'm pretty sure it was along the lines of that. Or that the girl I walked in was pretty obviously a working girl based on how she dressed and just her general demeanor but I never had a problem with it before in the Philippines. Or maybe the guard frowned upon letting working girls in and that was his polite way of saying to cut it out. And to be fair the airbnb listing did say "no sexual tourism" I guess.
Anyways just my experience so far, I guess I'll try using short time hotels from now on. Or try to build more of a rapport with the girl beforehand and say she's a friend or date or something. The girl I invited was straight from mileroticos. Great natural body, morena but mechanical service, I still have her contact info if anyone wants it but she's nothing special. Also, be careful about some of the lube some girls use for anal. Some of the lube they use has a numbing agent in it I guess to make anal more bearable for them but your dick will go numb if it gets on you too. Trust me.
I always send airbnb host a message asking if it's okay to bring visitor to the building. Most say no, but some say yes and go with it. It is hard to find a good place that is visitor friendly.
And the numbing agent is lidocaine, you can buy it separately from lube.
Yeah sorry for the mistake there. I double checked they work for private security company. It was becausee with their uniforms they look very much like officers of the law, so it's easy to naturally assume they are armedd. But they are not armed.
Yeah but I think is we are not all perfect and sometimes there are flawws in our posts but we should all try to keep it civil and remain friends. Sorry about that.

Funny you should mention that. Earlier today I was chatting with a girl in Medellin. When she asked what I was doing, I told her I was resting today. Too much work. She asked if I had to put in extra time at work to be able to take my vacation. However, the literal translation was "Do you have to work harder to come?
My answer "it depends on the position" earned a laugh from her.
USA 10 year student visa? Come on man! There is no such visa.
For a 2 week scholarship? To San Antonio?

I've never mistaken a portero or a security guard for a policeman. The police here are really quite distinctive. They are dressed more like army personel than police men. And they usually have a bright reflective "policia" vest so they really stand out.

I was close to a university student at one of Mexico's autonomous universities who earned a two week scholarship to San Antonio. It was more of a foreign exchange program where one side paid to go and the other side couldn't afford it. When she won it they automatically stamped her for a 10 year visa. Small school, she paid attention to what was offered, and hit it on the second try. If she's truly. Then there are scholarships.

What about re-hiring me and letting me take you on a tour in El Centro, and the first lay is on me.
Maybe if Jbee2 is in town he could tag along as well.
Just imagine how much fun it would be, kind of like the three amigos on a stroll thru the park. Heck, we could even wear sombreros, I would wear my surf trunks and flip flops, you could wear your white shorts / sneakers and ball cap, and I have no clue what Jbee2 might wear, but I'm sure we would totally blend in with now one paying any attention to us.
I knew a girl Medellín for a couple of years, met her a few times. Her WhatsApp went unresponsive after the covid shutdown. As far as I know she is not on Facebook or other social media. I have a copy of her cedula. Any ideas how I can contact her? Just wanted to check if she is OK. I last met her in March and the last message from her on whatsapp was in April / May.
I struggle with that question too. As best I can tell there is an idea that the girls are somehow more innocent / classy / safe than others. I am a Centro rat so consider the source of these doubts.
Again, why bother with SA? I have never heard of someone doing so much work in Medellin just to meet girls. If you read the forum there are guys that have written the names of contacts they have they can recommend. Food posioning? Are you planning to dine them? If you are that paranoid maybe you should pick another hobby?

Not sure there are any scholarships being offered to go and sell pussy in Las Vegas.
I know a webcam model with a tourist Visa to the US. Pretty sure she owns her penthouse apartment. Know another webcam model who has been living in the US for several years. I know she has an ex, so she might have come on a fiancée visa. I know a couple of other girls who got visas to compete in tournaments in the US, one for cheerleading and one for volleyball. Pretty sure those were just short term performance visas.
As far as a Colombian getting a US Visa at this time, without a bunch of money, or a US fiancee, it's not very likely.
