Opinions? Thoughts? Solutions to the growing problem that will bring the end to glory and love of Colombia?
There are many guys in MDE I void talking to in the park cause first thing they'll do is point a camera in your face without asking to put on Youtube. That prob ruined Sosua, Pataya and now Colombia. Actually it's getting so bad today I was just talking to a buddy I travel with we need to find new low key spots and stay away from mainstream hotspots where you have too many unemployed youtubers and cams LOL. This shit is becoming a serious prob all over.

The first solution is to stop watching horrible videos put out by people who can't manage to put together a simple sentence. He took 10 minutes to cover 30 seconds worth of material.

Next, don't panic. Parque Lleras is a tiny part of Medellin and it doesn't appeal to most mongers. The guys who spend all of their time in Parque Lleras aren't interested in the rest of Medellin. The only effect they will have is to lower the quality of the entertainment in Parque Lleras while raising the price in Parque Lleras.

Besides, Parque Lleras has been in a serious decline for the past 2 years. More than any other area in Medellin, Parque Lleras depends on the tourist spending and Covid took most of that away. Last year half of the businesses in the area were shut down. The only places which seemed to be thriving were the ones most commonly frequented by gringos.

Or, just skip all that and use this easy solution:

Don't be part of the problem. Treat people right. Don't assume that every woman is a hooker. Be straightforward with your intentions.

I know guys who used to rave about the Philippines and Thailand, but after coming to Medellin during the Pandemic, they are in no hurry to go back to Asia for not only the reasons you mentioned, but also because it's so inexpensive.

Unfortunately though, I have noticed a downturn of prettier Chicas in Centro as of lately. There seems to be fewer and fewer of them working (primarily Vennies), and lots of fat and pugy Chicas, whom I call fuglies.

Apparently, in talking with some of the Vennies in Centro, things are getting better in Venezuela, hence fewer of them are coming or spending as much time here, albeit lots of them working here now reside in Colombia.
I agree with you and others that I feel like Centro has declined the most between 2019 and late 2021, which was my last visit to MDE. FB scene hasn't been affected as much except for general price inflation. Maybe it's because a lot of guys don't know the FB scene and FB girls don't work the streets, so they're separate markets. As I said in one of my previous reports, last time I went to Centro, I saw a few small groups of middle age to older gringos drinking beer and talking on the benches, like you'd see in the SEA bars, something I never expected to see in Medellin.

I feel like if someone's never been to Colombia, it's a real novelty at first. The girls here are more beautiful, but like all things, if you come a lot you will get used to it eventually. Additionally there are a few things I miss from the Angeles City that'll probably bring me back there.

    - Girls in AC understand basic English so it's easier to communicate simple instructions and to get to know each other at a basic level.

    - Long time in AC costs a little less than TLN in MDE.

    - No waiting in AC, you can get action almost any time you want.

    - Thin Colombian girls usually don't have boobs, whereas be to see cups on thin girls are more common in the Fils.

    - Safety in AC is way better. Generally the worst in AC is having some money stolen, but the threat of physical violence, getting drugged etc is minimal.

    - Girls who work FB and Centro often do it for a few years. Girls in AC have lower mileage on average and seem more genuinely interested in the guys they meet.

I'm from the west of the US, so MNL is 5 hours further than MDE, a very bearable difference.

Background: I'm a fairly experienced traveler and monger in international cities. I get to travel a few times a year for work and try to take advantage of what is available locally. Since I work during the day, my time for wandering or trying to score talent at local malls, etc is limited.

Even with a work / cultural thing interrupting your day, it is still amazingly easy to score a great time in Medellin. In fact, compared to other cities I've traveled to, Medellin ranks at the top of the list. If there were a scoring system, I give it a solid 8. 5 out of 10, with 10 being the highest..
I did hook up with two FB that I have had forever but they are in my normal FB. I heard from a couple other people that since COVID this was a good way to meet up. May try the new Facebook later as well. Glad you had a good time. Colombia has always been a huge hit for me!

Medellin has everything a guy could want. Culture. Music. Amazing food. Friendly people. Beautiful women. Young, old. Tall, short. Dark, light. Skinny, fat. If you go to Medellin and you have trouble meeting women, you are doing it wrong. Will knowing Spanish help? Hell yeah it will, but not knowing it doesn't stop you from doing much. And if she's standoffish because you need to use a translator app? Find the next one, she's only a few feet away.

Where I stayed: At first I was going to stay in Parque Ileras, which is the heart of all the evening gal action. But a week before I changed it to Laureles, and I am glad I did. Laureles has some amazing restaurants, bars, stores, and more. I was a block from the Unicentro mall, had two huge supermarkets within a couple of blocks, a big shopping mall, the university around the corner (walked by at lunch one day and saw the nursing students leaving the campus, all dressed in white nursing outfits. I'll never forget that). Parque Ileras is filled with clubs and people, and it can get really really loud. Laureles is much quieter and relaxed more my style and no one hawks you in Laureles...

Could I ask where you stayed? And if you had any issues bringing ladies back? (It sounds like you didn't). I'm still looking for nice accommodation with a balcony.

Also, as you didn't share her link, perhaps you are not prepared to give further info on Lina, which I understand. If you are though, would you be willing to share FB details for her, perhaps by PM? No worries if not.

    Forks up!
Send me a PM, I'll send you my Facebook link so you can send me a request. Then you'll find all the gals I mentioned in my friends list.

Taking impulse trip for birthday. Girl friendly hotels?

I decided to book a flight only 2 days in advance for my birthday to Medellin. I am getting confused with all the conflicting hotel reports I am looking for something cheaper and in a fairly safe area. I don't care if they hold the girls ID's as I know the risks of this hobby and am fine with it. If someone wanted to rob me they won't get much anyway. I went to Bogota a few months ago and had a great time but I had a chica friendly Airbnb that did not even check ID's and it was planned way in advance. This time I don't even have a return ticket (I have 2 weeks off work extra money and flight credit from another cancelled trip) so I don't even know how long I will be here. And I have to go back to BOG before my flight home anyway.

I really enjoyed your report. I look forward to reading more so please come back to Medellin.

    Medellin trip report

    Hello fellow punters,

I wanted to share a quick update on my recent trip to Medellin.

If there were a scoring system, I give it a solid 8. 5 out of 10, with 10 being the highest.

Laureles is much quieter and relaxed more my style and no one hawks you in Laureles. Plus, getting to Parque Lleras, if you want to, is only like $4 via Uber.

Apps and getting around: Taxis are plentiful, and you can use Uber, Didi, or iDriver for cars on demand (I used Uber, but Didi and iDriver seem to have more vehicles available). Depending on where you are staying, plan on it taking about 45 minutes from the airport to your place. You can use the bus and metro system, but with car service so cheap and easily available, I found it easier to use that. I usually rent a bicycle to get around when I am in a city.

Yes, you can rent a bike in Medellin from a local bike shop, just send them an email ahead of time and ask if you can rent one if they don't offer it on their website. Medellin has a lot of bike lanes in some of the areas I was in, but it's not Amsterdam where bike riders have the right of way. In fact, I don't think anything has right of way in Medellin except for cars / motorcycles / trucks. If you are one of those people who go blindly walking through a residential crosswalk thinking cars are going to stop for you, well, you're going to be a hood ornament in short order. Something in the city has right of way, but it sure as hell is not pedestrians. Motorcycles and scooters are a popular way to get around. And if you are an experienced motorcycle rider, you can rent a small bike here for as low as about $8-15 per day. Check out riderly.com for some pricing.

Action: First, I want to give huge props to ISG member Alaska1986, without who none of the extracurricular activities on my trip would have happened as easily as it did. As he noted, Facebook action is a great place to start. First, set up a new account on Facebook (trust me on this, it gets overwhelming). Connect with one of the board members who is connected to Medellin action via FB, go into his friends list and send requests to ones you see and like. I did this before I arrived and had like 175 connections to choose from when I arrived. By the time I left I had 678 connections, and I was only there a week. They all use FB Messenger to chat, and many will switch to WhatsApp if you ask.

You can use FB to set up some action ahead of time, negotiate, etc. Prices are usually in the 200 COP for a couple of hours, depending on what extras you want. But really there is no need to go much higher.

Taking Alaska's advice, my first night I checked in, took a photo from my balcony and posted it to Facebook, saying "my first night in Medellin and I am here alone?" It didn't take long for messages to start coming in.

I replied to a few and was getting prices in the 300-350 k COP range. Too high, and it's not even like you need to haggle much. Just reply "I usually pay 200 for 2 hours" and the prices drop quick. Heck, there were tons of times where they were bringing their own price down without me asking. If she asks you how much you want to spend, simply say 200 k COP for 2 hours, or 400 k COP for the night. She'll take it or leave it.

You might negotiate a bit more for some more out-there extras, or if she says she wants you to pay for the taxi. The taxi is usually no more than 15-20 k COP each way, tops. So if she is asking for 100 k COP extra just to pay for the taxi, that's BS, also, a warning: If a gal asks for a deposit, Don't do it. It's a scam. 100%. They might say "it's for the taxi" and try to get 100 k COP out of you (about $25 USD). This is 100% BS. Or she might say "I need to give it to my manager," or some other bull crap. Whatever the excuse is and I mean whatever it is, it's pure BS. Do not get desperate, do not think "oh, it's only $25. " You're getting worked if you send it, and you will never ever see the girl.

How do I know this? Simple, they tried it on me twice. The first time was a really cute gal, totally my style, but her photos were almost too good to be true. Onlyfans-type stuff. After I arrived in MDE, I message her, we were supposed to meet the first night. She asks me for a deposit. Now, at this point I wasn't aware of this scam, so I was about to send it to her, but before I did I wrote "send me a photo of yourself holding up three fingers. " She sends photos holding up a peace sign. I reply "no, three fingers" and she gets upset, saying "I sent you what you asked for, do you not believe me?" Bingo, that's when I knew it was a scam. I was this close to being ripped off. Now for the visits (links are to the FB profile.

Sunday: Laura Maria. https://*******.com/2p9eah56 Photos on FB are real. 200 for 2 hours. Very pretty, but rushed service. Maybe I was tired. No connection, basically just wanted her gone after 30 minutes. Would not repeat.

Monday: Sara Gomez. I wanted to try a service, so I got Sara Gomez from La Celestina (google La Celestina Medellin). Services usually have TONS of gals available, but they will be pricier, although a bit more reliable. La Celestina did not ask for a deposit, and they have a manager who speaks English and uses WhatsApp. Easy to set up. She was great, but at 280 k COP for 2 hours, plus 120 k COP for natural oral, this is a more expensive option. If you want reliable, then spending $100 USD on a service instead of $65 USD is for you. But it won't make a difference in the quality of what you are seeing, in my experience.

Monday #2 - Lina. Lina was a FB gal that I hit it off with. We messaged back and forth for about 45 minutes. Offered to just come over and meet me at my apartment that night said she was not a prepago (prepaid). I figured OK, nothing to lose here, maybe I have to take her out for a bit, but let's see where this goes. Well, suffice to say, we never left the apartment, and used the Rappi app to order a bottle of tequila, some food, and some sodas (Rappi is a must-have app in Medellin). Lina tells me she's only had girlfriends most of her life, and the only other guy she's been with was her baby daddy. True? Probably. All I know is she stayed until 3:30 am and I had an awesome time and it only cost me 20 k cop for her taxi when she left.

Tuesday: Andrea Saldarraga - https://*******.com/yckjv5ex There's something about her look I was loving. Tats, curvy, great smile, hair. Set up two hours with Andrea with a bunch of extras. She started at 250 k COP but would not budge. I ended up spending 350 k COP for 3-4 hours but it was money well spent. The only optional services I didn't get are probably illegal in most countries. Some on this board might think I'm a jerk for spending that much but, I'm going to tell you guys, I made sure she earned it. And if you still have a problem after that, I don't give a single flying F.

Tuesday #2 - Stefania Rojas https://*******.com/yckz3axv - A fine example of a gal who is waaaaayyyyy hotter in person than her FB photos. She was thin (flakita / flaquita), super sexy, 23 years old, tight in all the right places. Does everything I wanted. 200 1-2 hours plus taxi. Would repeat in fact I did the following night with an overnighter for 500 k COP.

    Wednesday. Repeat with Stefania.

Thursday. Luisa Marin - https://*******.com/2p8xvwxy 2 hours 200 k COP plus taxi. Pretty gal but kinda bitchy. Noticed her looking away at a lot of other places besides what we were doing. Not a clock watcher, but it was mechanical. I took one for the team here. Would not repeat.

Thursday night Alaska and I went out to Parque Lleras and had a blast. Went to the Irish Pub (it was St. Pat's Day) and to the Berlin Bar. We were there early, around 8 ash, but the action started really picking up by 10 and by 11 to midnight it was mayhem. Everything you can imagine was there even a pregnant gal. We spot her and I goad Alaska to go ask her " cuantos meses?" ("How many months? So he does, and I am practically hurting I am laughing so hard, because she's just matter of fact with her answer "Four months. I got to work. " So yeah, you get everything you can imagine down there. Alaska ended up taking a cute gal from the villages back for a 250 cop all nighter. I do a couple more walks around the block but since I have to up at 6 am for work, I decide to call it a night. Still the people watching alone was worth the trip down there.

Friday night. Repeat with Lina. Hey, if a hot lesbo chick wants to revisit you for some the, you always got to agree.

Guys, Medellin is well worth a trip. I had an awesome time and plan on going back.

Lots of good lookers for a great price this week. I don't know I did 300 k for any four combined. And I was with 15 in the week I was there including two threesomes. The threesomes weren't even 300 k and were multi hours.

Can concur that there is increased demand and it was kinda a sausage fest and girls were entitled. Center stage had some good performances but overpriced overall. Now they are charging 30 mil entrance and 350 mil. Also my hotel is charging an arm and leg for guest fee, but I prefer the service here. Maybe will try FB, but I feel like weekends are worse than weekdays. Not bad start. Colombia is relatively cheap.
To avoid all the silly high pricing go to El Centro. I'm going to Cartagena with some friends next week but I will go to Medellin either April of May at the latest. Have fun!
