As far as women being late, I found an easy solution. If I want her to show up at 6 pm, I'll tell her 5 or 5:30. By 6:15 they're at my door.

This of course isn't true as anyone with any amount of experience with FB girls knows that they are often more than 45 minutes late, if they engage in the final stages of seeing through the appointment at all. It also isn't a solution as if she shows up on time then you at best haven't gotten what you wanted, if you're not clear across town.

There is no solution, but the best strategy is to tell them that if they are more than 30 minutes late then the appointment is automatically cancelled, then stick to your guns.

Can someone please point me to a basic guide / [post that summarizes where the action is, which hotels to stay, which neighborhoods to enjoy, how much to pay and how the casa scene works?

Agreed. I have said it before and will say it again. San Andres sucks. The beaches are few and far between for an island environment and the available chicas are even less available. By all means, BYO, but don't expect that to change your experience.

Wow, I'm surprised to hear that. I loved SA. The natural aquarium and many of the other beaches. The water was amazing. I did some great scuba diving and also had all kinds of adventures.

I actually went solo but met a couple from outside of Cali on one of the excursions. Dude's girl was smokin and I noticed she kept looking at me. She even invited me to hang with them after the excursion but I declined.

On a random day, I was going to get something to drink and I heard someone yell my name. I turned around and it was her. We were both going to the same store. She told me her BF was on the beach getting some sun.

To be honest, I hated San Andres. But I was also by myself and another mate. Its primarily a beach town where the local middle-class peoples go (think Daytona beach), so there is nothing really to do there, nothing fancy. The beaches are very pretty and fun to ride around town in the buggy. However everything was very touristy. I was staying in the center city. But maybe if I had a chica, I would consider staying in a more remote area and focus on sex and beautify beach vistas.

Exactly what I heard but that is exactly why I am brining a girl and her GF, I heard lotta dudes and if you don't come with someone good luck. But I def want a change and enjoy the beach lifeforms a few days and then back to Medellin. Thanks for the insight.

I went there with a girl a few years back and had a great time. It was not overly expensive, and I would recommend it.

There are some non-posters who spend months at a time there who I have met, that know way more than I do about what goes on, so I really don't consider myself an exception in the scheme of things. I actually consider myself a part timer in Centro as I don't stay in Centro, but am there most days for a few hours at a time. Sometimes it's just part of my daily routine.

And as far as some of the others I've mentioned who are non-posters, some have gone with dozens and dozens of the girls working there, a lot of them speak Spanish, and can tell you which ones are the performers and which one's aren't, how much they cost, and all kinds of other information.

(Very nice of you to do so whoever you are because I forgot who) I contacted the girls and they wanted 240,000 each for an hour plus taxi 20,000 and sent two pictures. I brought this too his attention but it was too much money for him. Too much! So 500,000 / 3600 COP = $140. $140 for a dream come true. He is 63+. How much time does he have left? Then another of the group stated within 5 minutes of talking to him that there was no way to leave during the lockdown. I told him about the humanitarian flights that Spirit had every month from different cities and he argued with me about no flights. I could go on and on and on.

Hate those guys with a passion. The main reason I quit talking to them is that they would talk for hours about nothing. Most have never been anywhere else in Colombia because they have little money so nothing to learn from them. Bunch of Chesters. One wanted me to walk with him and he would approach young looking girls. If a cop were to approach him and ask him why he was talking to the young girl, I know what he would do. He would point to me 50 feet away (because I had no interest) and tell the police that he was talking to the girl for me because I do not know Spanish. So many stories.

There are too many variables to do any straight comparison. What it is always going to come down to is whatever each person prefers.

What bothers me is when someone declares that their way is the only way and anyone who does things differently is doing things wrong. At the end of the day the only thing that matters is if you enjoyed yourself.

I've always been open to recommendations as to how I might enjoy myself more, and at a better value, and this has paid dividends. In fact that's pretty much the purpose of this forum. The members should ignore all requests to refrain from critiquing someone who simply "enjoyed themselves."

Colombians respond to things in their own time. I still get requests accepted that I sent out 3 years ago. It's the same with messages. They might respond in 5 seconds, or 5 days. About the only time you can count on a quick response is when they're desperate for money.

This is correct. Few Colombian putas will work if they have a little money in their pockets, and she will be off the radar until she spends it. The laziness factor cannot be over estimated.
