How much would you offer? 800 k? 700 k?
I don't want to be cheap and annoy her however I also don't want to drastically overpay. It may even sound suspicious "For so much money, what does he want to do with me?

I wouldn't pay that. Don't be surprised when you meet her and she is 10 years older and 30 lbs heavier. I would recommend that you meet her for dinner and if you feel like take her back to your place. There are way too many beautiful women in Medellin than to settle for just seeing one. Enjoy some variety and have 4 or 5 different girls on your trip. After I'm with a girl for 3-4 hours I'm ready for the next one.

Now, I speak Spanish fluently, which helps a lot, but I look like a gringo. I'm in my 30's so not that old but I generally date girls in their early to late 20's. I don't pick up girls at clubs its mostly online for me 95% Facebook. I've hit it off with a few girls at stores, and on the street as well. I have chatted with a few girls over tinder but I take the same approach of screening their other social media, chatting extensively and dictating our plans for the date myself (I'd say this is the normal expectation with these women for a first date).
If you want to be as safe as possible I'd stick to casas during daytime hours. I'd avoid the Centro ones because you run a slight risk of getting robbed by a drug addict or you could step in a pothole and hurt yourself (I kid about the pothole especially though exactly that happened to me outside of New Life in 2020). Just sticking to pros on Facebook or the online pages doesn't guarantee your safety. I've heard stories of pros that scam, steal, and drug. Personal recommendations can help, though I can think of one girl I thought was chill and have been with that I heard had robbed another guy who let his guard down with her. Colombia is not the safest spot in the world and its not a beginner destination either. You need some street smarts and language skills will also help you a lot. My advice is to make plans to mitigate risks, don't be too trusting too quickly, trust your own instincts, and don't worry about bailing if something seems off.

No but seriously is a million pesos a day too much or too little for a girl like this? Obviously assuming that the photo is accurate. Two hundred bucks sounds dirt cheap to me however I understand that Medellin prices are relatively low.Last edited by Admin3; 02-17-23 at 18:49.

Unofficial estimates put the number of annual scopolamine incidents in Colombia at approximately 50,000.

Also, I just joined a private facebook group called Colombia Scopolamine Victims and Alerts. I am attaching a couple of screen shots. Apparently the perpetrators are non-pros, at least generally.

Then she crashed at my place (with her friends) for the weekend and it was 300 mil for the weekend (food costs made up for it). So yes, I would say 1 million pesos per day is an overpay. But it's your $$$ so if that's what you want to do. Go for it and have fun.

The problem is that for guys seeing prostitutes, and then getting drugged, only a very small number would ever be reported to police. Guys I know that have been scoped in 100% of the cases did NOT report it. They survived, they lost some stuff, and they didn't want the world to know what happened.
So my perception is that if you are careless and see working chicas in Medellin or Bogota, you have a very high chance of it happening. Of course in most cases it would be in your own apartment, etc. So by following the great suggestions of folks like Jb and others on this board you can reduce that risk to negligible, but without taking some care you are a target.

My impression is that a typical tourist hooking up and going home with a Paisa because she thinks he's hot is almost unheard of. More frequent seems to be a typical tourist hooking up and going home with a Paisa and not remembering anything until two days later.

So plan A is a mini-relationship. Plan be is the brothels.
The only thing which I am a little uncertain about are the exact prices in Medellin. I am attaching a photo. She is 19. Is a million pesos per day too much? Will it sound suspicious? I'll also spend a few dollars on her for her meals or if we go out to a club however that might be another $30 a day. In a lot of places you would need to pay several hundred dollars or more per hour for this girl. A million sounds low to me. So I am wondering if anyone has an opinion.

Posts: 1173There is no reason why you should be robbed of 7000 dollars because you shouldn't bring that much cash to a third world country in the first place. It's an idiot rookie move. The biggest change I made is getting a Schwab debit card. There is no reason anymore to bring a bunch of cash and convert at a cambio. Just take out the minimum you need for that night from an ATM and Schwab will reimburse you the fees. Back in the day Schwab denied my checking account because my credit sucked. Once they changed their policy a few years ago, and stopped using credit scores for checking, I was able to get approved. Now I never bring a lot of cash.
Today, I have a Schwab and SoFi checking account. Neither charges international fees or cash withdrawal fees. You don't get reimbursed at sofi for ATM convenience fees but everything else is free. Always have 2 checking accounts. You need 2 for backup in case one gets declined because of their BS fraud alerts because you swiped at McDonald's twice in a row which actually happened to me. 2 k in each account and you're gold. If someone scopes you or breaks in they ain't getting much because you shouldn't have much. My last trip I brought a whole 300.00 in cash. That's it.
