Both were in Centro about a 5 min taxi ride from each other. There was another place too called Gordos but that spot was more scary for me. Lots of dudes with their guns right on the table.

I thought the whole notion is to stay the fuck away from Centro after dark? I was told not to go there at night unless in a tank or bulletproof shell.

It seems like I've worked my way into the friend zone with the Venezuelan. Either that or she's working the long game. Like I said before, things always change, just need to adapt to the changes.

Naturally she showed up late. When she was close I went down to escort her in and chatted with the porter until she pulled up. He gave me an envious look when I walked her by. Booked a trip to try Medellin out for the first time. Going with few other guys - 1 has been and is amped about the trip. We have a Air BNB? is has anyone ever went during the Festival of Flowers. We didn't think months ago when we booked and come to find out we are going to be there during the busiest time of year. Will this impact our opportunities. We do have a VIP service set up. Any recommendations horror stories good news about traveling during this time?

You can look at it two ways; there are going to be a ton of people in town, traffic is going to suck, and a lot of girls are going to be partying instead of working. That being said, Medellin has a thriving mongering trade, and big festivals always bring outside talent and amateurs into town for a quick economic bump. Beyond that, lean into the festival. Check out all the food, the parades, soak in the culture. You've chanced in on Medellin's high festival, and it's going to be a party of epic proportions. It's all a matter of perspective.

Laureles is a better choice to avoid the steep hills of Poblado. Laureles is better than Centro because the streets are not as congested; it will be easier to move about in a wheelchair.

I definitely second this, Laureles is your best shot. I would contact hotel / airbnb about wheelchair accessible first before booking. I normally would recommend San Peter building but its not wheelchair friendly, definitely girls friendly though.
