I know that Medellin, like much of Latin America, has a varied genetic makeup, but I believe it is mostly mestizo, and many tend not to have natural curves (hence all the plastic surgery). You need to compare apples to apples. You just compared the city of Medellin to the country of Dominican Republic. If you go to the Cibao region of DR, then the influences on how people look is way less African. So you can't see pictures of the population of Iowa and assume the population of Detroit looks the same.

First time posting. Long time learning. So I'm close to convincing myself to fly down to Medellin from Miami the week of May 27. I don't speak an ounce of Spanish and all of my readings on here point to two things, in regards to this: a) Spanish is advantageous all around, but really critical for day game and b) while cash talks, I may have trouble getting by. My question is for those that don't speak Spanish but have mongered in Medellin: looking back, how would you do things differently? Would you use an escort service instead of trying to communicate in a club? Would you not even have went, if you had known what impact the lack of Spanish would have on your mongering activities? Cali is one of the 3 largest cities in Colombia and is South West of Medellin. The prices are about the same. Cheap cheap if you're careful. So for reference I've tried day gaming 2 girls in Medellin and probably around 50 in Ukraine, mostly Kharkiv. My batting average is higher in Medellin, but with a lower sample size. Obviously you have to speak Spanish to do this in Medellin and you have to speak Russian to do this in Eastern Ukraine. I'm 22 years old, do not look ethnically white, and speak both Spanish and Russian so obviously YMMV. But overall I get the feeling that locals in Medellin are much more friendly than locals in Ukraine.

Yes the Venezuelans have kept the prices in check and it is a buyers market everywhere you go. I recently discovered Santa Marta and what a paradise this place is if you like the beach and seafood.
