Of course, Medellin rewards those who speak Spanish. If you don't, it can still be good- consider staying at the Mansion. A friend of mine doesn't speak Spanish but has a lot of travel experience. He arrived in Medellin and had few problems with day-to-day living. But he has to pick his spots with women, as few women in Medellin speak English. He uses his phone as a translator and settles for what is usually pretty simple communication.

I do not find Medellin to be unsafe. I try not to go around late at night, especially alone in riskier neighborhoods. When I host girls in my apartment, I lock my valuables away; cell phones have a way of disappearing otherwise. And I don't wear jewelry -- or even bring it with me.

my experience in medellin was driven by four factors: age, wealth, trip length, and spanish ability. i'm mid-50's but look mid-40's, not insanely rich but not backpacking either, was there for two months, and speak spanish decently but not fluently. besides chasing girls, i got a lot of exercise, fresh air, and sleep.

in my two-month stay, i connected with.

- a 35-yo freebie i met through latin american cupid.

i stayed in an apartment in laureles. i like the tranquil and safe atmosphere of laureles. almost every day i walked to the stadium (estadio) and swam in the pool there. if you are in medellin for a longer period, laureles is a good option. if just in for a week or less, you might enjoy poblado more.

i like cruising shopping malls and often scheduled first-dates with cupid girls in shopping malls. my favorites are premium plaza, the small mall associated with the exito laureles (walking distance from my apartment), and gran plaza. this last one, gran plaza, i found near the end of my trip. i wish i had found it sooner. it's not especially well-known, but it shares the high level of eye-candy of el tesoro. located near the san antonio metro station, gran plaza was more accessible for me than el tesoro. if you are good at meeting girls in public, try gran plaza. my public pick-up game will get better as i become more confident with my spanish; i look forward to exploring this option during future trips.

this is the first trip i've put a lot of energy into facebook. and it paid off with some of the best sex of my life. beautiful girls who really responded when i treated them well. i repeated two of my facebook prepagos many times. my favorita is 150 mil cop per visit. i paid others between 100 mil and 240 mil. these prices include taxi fare to / from. not cheap, but worth it, imho.

for those of you who are disappointed i haven't named names, shared fotos, or offered play-by-play, this forum is way too open for that. keep in mind that medellin can be a small town. you don't want to get a bad reputation with the chicas. most enjoyed snapping a few fotos before or during sex. too many details here and that cooperation could cease.

Girls get 40% - 50% in Daytime Medellin MPs. House gets half or more. This is pretty standard in Medellin. Some will fine girls for going home early. The house can only gain from a girl hanging around. Normally the girls do not get fined for showing up late. This is to discourage the girls who are late from not showing up at all. This leads me to the next quote.

I would say this is about right. When arranging a date with Daytime MP girls I always stress the fact that I will pay for the taxi both directions. I tell them it will be fast and cost them nothing. Probably 20-25 k. Then I offer 50 k-80 k. Never a problem. This is for dates before work or on their days off. I usually keep them for about 2 hours on average.

When meeting girls for dates one has to consider how much the girl is regularly getting for sex. If you are meeting girls in places where they are making 100 k-200 k / hr in comparison to 45 k-60 k / hr you might want to offer another 20 k-30 k.

This is how these girls view time. If something starts a fixed time then they focus on making it on time. Jobs, doctors appointments, movies, etc. For other types of meetings their vocabulary doesn't make sense. For example, 15 minutes, 2 pm, right now, very close, etc.

If you don't talk to them like children and stick your foot to their ass they will jerk you around with their disorganized habits. Be charming and courtesy in the beginning and then stick your foot to their ass after they get to know you. Once they respect you outside the bed everything is better and things are easier in bed.

I have always offered 100 k for 2 hrs, but with casa chicas I ask them to go in an hour or 2 late if starting time 1100 at the casa as I much prefer fresh rather a tired chica at 7 pm. What I like better is a centro strip club chica who starts at 4 pm as I much prefer a 1 pm encounter that a 9 or 10 am one.
