I use the Four Points. The first girls is obviously fine, after that I take one of two approaches:

1) Book back to back one or two night reservations (you get a new +1 each time).

2) Discretely bring in girls through the back gate during the day. It locks at like 8 pm and they pay more attention at night.

For $45 to $50/ nt including a great breakfast buffet, onsite spa, waiting taxis, and proximity to the mall I've found it a great place to stay.

When you do the back to back bookings do they make you check out of your room and get a new one? That would be a pain in the ass. Do they make you give them the name of the new girl when you take the new reservation or can you give it to them later? Do they give you a hard time about it or is it smooth?

Safe for solo travel, but just like everywhere in the world, still be cautious and pay attention to your surroundings.

Parque Lleras is not the only spot or best spot. It really depends on your preference.

Parque Llerras is more of a night time activities. Club / bars and you got SW standing around there now which is very obvious than before pandanmic. It comes alive after 9 PM.

Then portion got bigger for a few days when the price went up to 18 k, then it got back to normal portion size.

"Soften the blow" of the price increase at first, then back to situation normal. Market research has shown time and time again consumers are sensitive to minute changes in price, quantity, quality, and your statement is consistent with this.

In fact, isn't there an argument that we are paying less now than say twenty years ago? Not sure, just wondering. I've only been here since 2019. I hope to die here, in the middle of a mongering session, "doing what he loved the most," jajaja.

There were no foreign mongers in Medellin two decades ago as nobody was coming to the murder capital of the World back then.

And is it cheaper now, hell yes, and seems to have gotten cheaper and cheaper due to the exchange rate over the years.

You've asked more questions prior to a trip than anyone I know. You could find the answer to half these non monger questions about dress and taxis on TripAdvisor. Are you sure you really want to go?

Is Parque Lleras still the best spot to find girls?

Opinions will vary on this, but I don't think Parque Lleras has ever been the best spot to find girls. However, it is still a place where you can find girls.

Is Medellin safe for solo travel? I don't know. I always travel solo and I consider it safe for the way I do things. I know a lot of solo travelers who consider it safe enough to keep coming back.

At some point, all of us were new here. But, I can't recall anyone on any forum on ISG that has had as many posts as you with each having a single question.

This is a forum for contributors, not so much question askers unless you put them all in one post and then maybe someone will respond to that single post.

What you really need to do to prepare for your trip is spend a few hours reviewing the city you wish to go, review General Information for the country to see what you can learn there, buy a subscription so that you can communicate with others off forum but only after you have invested time to get up too speed. And then you should also make google your friend and find additional info off forum. Only then should you be at the point with specific questions.

Never ask a question that you can answer yourself with simple research.

Finally, good luck. You seem apprehensive, I believe you said this is your first time. I would recommend you find a buddy to go with you. I think it would make things easier for you.

Are baseball caps out of place in medellin? Heard about the aversion towards shorts and flip flops in Colombia (unless you're in Cartagena), but haven't heard anything about caps.

Anyone been to San Peter apartments lately. I stayed there twice 2 years ago and it was definitely chica friendly and had an on-site bar. Now seeing Airbnb posts saying "Absolutely no Sex Tourism". And some other very strict rules. Anybody have any intel?

Googling from back here in Hometown USA, I gather that Colombia, like most of the planet, is experiencing escalating inflation--in Colombia's case, a 21 year high of nearly 10% on an annualized basis. I'm curious whether any of you guys on the ground in Medellin have noticed some ratcheting up in the basic costs of our hobby: entry charges at the strip clubs, casa base rates, a beer at Barra Executiva? Perhaps as a BM service, ISG should look into creating a Mongering Price Index (the cost of a standardized package of services: (1 HR. CFS, DFK, BBBJ--weighted proportionately by market share among SWs, brothels, clubs, on-line providers).

I can't really give you the best of information since I don't touch street-walkers, I rarely get my sexercise in the casas or strip-clubs. I haven't seen much of anything with respect to FB girls. Rates are pretty much the same. I. e. 200 mil + taxis (sometimes a little more).

But I really like your idea of a Mongering Price Index. It should be comparable, something like 'numbeo.com' which allows you to compare cost of living information (which is crowd-sourced) for various locations. What about something similar for sexual services? So maybe a 1 hour standard 'cita' in Medellin (CFS, DFK, BBBJ) priced in $ compared to the same session in Spain or Thailand or Vietnam or Costa Rica etc.

Is Colombia screwed as a destination? Even if the socialist president bans prostitution (which he seems like a new age leftist so he probably won't) the economy is going to turn into Venezuela lite and make it too dangerous.

You have a profound understanding of Colombian politics and economics. I'm going to continue to live here despite it all but you should stay away. At least for 4 more years until the next presidential election. I mean afterall this former-guerilla leftist wants to tax the wealthy and raise the minimum wage and increase pensions for the elderly. I am heading to Medellin in a few days and have made it my new spot over the past year. Spent years in the hobby in Cuba, Venezuela, and Costa Rica. All were amazing in their day, but political changes brought about changes as a destination, especially for mongering. When does the new President take office? In asking this, I realize that changes may not happen immediately (but they could). For example, Cuba was THE place for years, until Castro shut it down literally overnight. Venezuela. Similar but with a change in leadership. You guys have more experience and a better feel for Columbia, since I am a relative newbie (7 times in 2 years). For those there now, have you seen any indication of immediate changes? What are your thoughts about the future. The question relates to those of us traveling to Columbia for mongering, not social, political, or anything else. This is not the forum for that. What I do know, is that a few days from there, I will be banging everything I can that my poor, old, tired, cynical, fat ass will permit. Gentlemen.

The Force is strong with this one, too, jeje. Gawd, I would love to hear stories about Cuba from back in the day. Maybe because I grew up in Florida and had awareness well before the Mariel boatlifts, and lived in Miami for five years during the late eighties. I have always been fascinated by Cuba.
