For many of these girls and certainly someone like her, what you do is who you are.

Their mind doesn't work the way most people's mind works, neither do their emotions. They have a thought process and a way of doing things that transcends reason.

I like to offer an example / parallel from another walk of life. I know a guy, basically a rich hippie. His pops struck it rich mining, I mean we are talking tens of millions of dollars if not a couple hundred by now. The guy lived a sheltered life until 18 when he became a heroin junkie. Naturally, this led him into the supply side of the business, and he had a nice little racket running between his hometown and Philly with all sorts of drugs and cash changing hands.

Fast forward 20+ years, the guy has had a couple stints in jail (which could have been much longer if not for $$$) , two deaths (yes, twice declared dead and resuscitated) and all sorts of dope, this guy is still being supported 100% by his folks and STILL getting his nose dirty. His thinking is hustle, fast money, come up, get over. Even though he has absolutely no necessity to do so. He has enough money to support himself along with his various habits and hobbies, yet he is still out there putting himself at risk and getting involved with dicey stuff.

2for1 reply here, first off, LT, we are in agreement that trying to own someone is unproductive. That is what you're trying to do when you bring someone to the USA under the auspices of a potential marriage. As others have mentioned, that is most likely the case here. Can your Deepak Chopra bullshit about these people looking for tranquility. If that is what the guy is looking for, he isn't going to find it. Like I said, hopefully it's a "it ain't trickin' if you got it!" situation where the guy has enough money to waste on this surefire abortion of a relationship and, just as importantly, hasn't turned his heart over to this woman.

SlamCity thanks for the report on Loutron. I was curious if it had improved recently and I'm glad to hear it did. My only gripe with that place is the steadfast insistence on condoms for everything. The price is what it is, f they deliver the lineup they are capable of delivering, then it's not so bad. The setting is certainly a cut above the Barra Ejecutiva jajajaja.

The last few trips I made it out to Lourtron I was so let down! All third stringers and gorditas! Girls I'd fuck back home but not in Medellin! Hahahha! This time I was very pleased with the line up; 12 girls (14?) with 5ish x 8-10s and 5ish 7-8's and 4ish nice girls. Think lower level mansion girls (from what I understand) but they just don't measure up.

How many Medellin h00kers do you know that have pictures of themselves in Miami? A K1 (fiance) visa is the most likely scenario. The USA does not hand out tourist visas to young Colombian women very easily, it is almost impossible.

Those are the fastest (though not the easiest) to procure. It's pretty funny I was talking to a Peruvian girl down here who had one of those long-term lost in translation relationships with a Californian. It reached an impasse where he couldn't live in Peru anymore so he decided to bring her home and told her that they had to get married within 90 days (I think typically it's 180) but if she wanted they could do it three weeks after she got there. *SCREECHING BRAKES*

And, to correct your factual misstatement, I have a relationship with the Colombian girl that has spanned more than 5 years. Obviously, I do not adhere to the concept of monogamy, outside marriage. As a USA citizen and veteran of a marriage / divorce to a foreign national (not Colombian), I want to share some information that anyone thinking of a K-1 fiance visa should know about. And probably does not.

As part of the K-1 process, the USA citizen is required to sign an affadavit of support. This obligates you to support your fiance after she enters the USA and before you get married. No big deal. Not a problem.

The pitfall is in the next step. After the wedding, your fiance must apply for an interim green card. As part of that process, you are required to sign a new, much longer affadavit of support, called Form I-864. Google "I-864" and read about it. You won't f'ing believe it. Or maybe you will, until you realize that your obligation to support your spouse does not terminate with divorce. You are on the hook to support her at 125% of poverty level (currently about $1500 / month) and reimburse governmental agencies for her medical and other public assistance costs they pay on her behalf.

How long does your obligation last? If she chooses not to get a job and does not remarry, the rest of your life.

I was told by two immigration attorneys that the I-864 is the "hot ticket" for women in Russia and Asia to set themselves up for life. My ex- gleaned information from other women from her country about how to play the process to avoid outright marriage immigration fraud. If they can convince a poor schmuck like me. Or you. To do a K-1, the rest is history. While there are a lot more details to know, bottom line is this: talk to an immigration attorney during the K-1 process. Specifically, ask them about the I-864.

In hindsight, I would never do it again. IMHO, if men knew what they were getting into, the I-864 makes a K-1 Visa a financially untenable undertaking. Hope this info helps.

Whomever Wendy's novio is, one thing you've got to admirer is that he found what he wanted and he bought it.
