Posts: 309As if I need another reason to love Medellin
This trip was more of putting the finishing touches of my recent apartment purchase in both aesthetic and legal terms. Of course, I found time to mess around with the chicas, kept myself busy in multiple fronts. Couple days ago, I finally received the public deed and all the official paper work associated with my apartment. I now officially own a piece of heavenly real estate hehe, best decision I ever made, second only to making the virgin voyage to Medellin 9 years ago. There was a slight delay due to a correction that needed to be done on the title, so having a reputable and experienced lawyer is a must. I wanted to pay the property tax before leaving and found out it was only 700 mil for the entire year for a 300 million peso apartment! Doing the Math it's only 0. 23% of the purchase price, can't beat that! Back home in the Bay Area, I don't even want to look at my property tax that I got to pay in a month. I'm definitely looking into moving here permanently ASAP Rocky, even though I'm only 40, I ain't waiting till I get to my 60's to retire and ride into the sunset.
On a side note, there's a girl that lives in Barrio Pedregal that I've known for a while that saved up enough money to start her own nail saloon business. It's very small and can fit at most 4 people at a time and she had it built literally right underneath her house. I never had a mani or pedi in a long time so I went to support her business. Low and behold she has a very cute and young employee. 18 yrs old, white skinned, long jet black hair, petite body, very pretty face. It was 40 mil for like an HR and half of work, tipper her 20 mil. She was happy hehe. Rest of the day chilled and drank with both of them in between their breaks. Business was slow so they did more drinking than working hehe. Her mom was nice and offered to make sancocho, I said hell yeah. I went to the local store with her and bought all the necessary stuff to make a bombas sancocho. She did not disappoint, took her about 2 hours and it was very soothing to the soul. I just love hanging out in the barrios and literally no gringos/chinos in sight, no offense hehe.
BTW, I did get the chica number, saw her back in my apt the next day for 150 mil plus taxis. She gets paid 1 million pesos flat a month doing nails. Service was wonderful, loves to kiss, gives great BJ with CIM, her natural, petite yet firm body is just a gift from heaven and maybe next time, I'll convince her to do BBFS. I might have to wife her up before someone does haha.
Recondite, you got some competition in cooking for the chicas in Ricerocket99. I brought over a few Japanese ramen noodle packets from my local Ranch 99 Asian market along with authentic chopsticks hehe. It was intended for personal consumption, but then mind as well share it with the chicas. Some of them never had ramen before, not surprising since there's only like a few in all of Medellin. I've been to a couple of them in Poblado, it was fairly decent. I had to teach the chicas how to use chopsticks, funny as hell, too bad they don't eat spicy because I like to spice up my soup.

Seriously they got some issues back there but leave it there or in the USA as frankly people, gringos like myself who call Colombia my home and Colombians alike, could care less what is going on over in eastern Europe, heck this is why we are expats living in South America.
Give them your hard US dollars if you like but don't promote this BS here, at least post it on the appropriate threads like BS in Medellin or whatever they call those threads.
Much love and respect to all!

Posts: 1643Sometimes when you live life on the edge
You fall off the cliff and have to scramble and claw your way back up. The "too good to be true" tale of Caribe ended after a few weeks when I caught her red-handed trying to steal money from me yesterday morning. She is the Web cam model who would show up early in the morning horny after a night shift of edging, for "free."
Well, as you have often heard me say, we all pay one way or another, either in the short term or the long term, directly or indirectly.
Things got physical after I quickly figured out where she hid my money, under the mattress on her side of the bed. As you also may recall I wrote before that she is big, bigger than me, muscular and strong. After some overturned pieces of furniture and spilled liquid, as I also unfortunately predicted I had to put a gentle choke hold on her to get control of the situation. She did not pass out but she immediately became scared into submission saying, "I was afraid I would wake up inside a coffin."
Take my advice from having been married to a once-violent female. Maybe not so much here in Colombia but the one thing you don't want to do is leave any marks on a girl from whom you have to defend yourself. The cops will jump all over that evidence and us it as a reason to arrest you.
Anywho, amusingly she tried to return part of the 800 mil she stole, but I took it all back. Then her severe mental illness kicked in and she went into a full delusional state of denial and told me she was just playing a joke on me and was going to return the money to me the next day. By the time she exited my hotel room she denied the event ever happened, called me a murderer, and kissed me on the lips. I gave her back 100 mil. Two hours later she texted me and said she was in need of emergency medical attention because someone shot her in the left ear and she had gone deaf. Paranoid schizophrenia.
For your amusement, I will admit I have not completely ruled out seeing her again in the future. I got careless and she eyeballed the combination to my room safe when I didn't notice so really all I needed to do was change the combination. But I don't plan on seeing her anymore this trip, and she never officially made it onto my Top Ten list, which perhaps is not such an obvious sequitur for the future, considering I have been called gullible and too trusting by many of my fellow mongers. Keep On Keepin' On.

Posts: 623Refugee Crisis. How you can help
I've enjoyed my annual visits to Kyiv as much as my regular visits to Medellin and it's painful to see what's happening over there. Guys here are a couple very legitimate organizations taking donations and helping with the largest refugee crisis since World War II. Most guys on this website wouldn't even miss $50 or $100 and you can probably imagine how much help that can provide in eastern europe.

Posts: 586I would say to these.
1) Of course not, especially if you are using a combination. I was not aware that she ever saw me open the safe.
2) Yes, it is. And I thought the keys were out of eye shot. Obviously not. Next time I'll have them in my pocket in the jacuzzi. I should also point out that this was not a "first time" chica. I've known her for a while and have never had a problem. Obviously that was a mistake, but it's even more of a mistake when you are careless with a chica you are seeing for the first time or two, IMO.
3) To each his own on wallet. I have my USA Wallet that I leave in the safe. No need for it here. I have another wallet that just hold 50 mil bills. More than I need to carry anywhere. And then I have the third wallet that has one credit card and some cash. To me, it's better to keep things separated. If one of them was stolen, I've still have the others. I would not want to be here with no credit or debit card or cash. But just the way I do things. Pity the fool who carries one wallet with everything and then loses it or gets it stolen.
4) Maybe / maybe not. In the end, I still had a good time and did not lose anything. The difference is that I check my money and I acted to get it back. Often guys don't realize things are gone untl the chica is gone and it's too late.

Posts: 4027These are rhetorical questions aimed at helping other avoid this kind of problem: 1) Why open a safe in front of somebody from whom the safe is supposed to protect belongings? 2) Is it prudent to leave keys or valuables out of eyeshot whilst also allowing "acquaintances / friends / providers / not prepagos / semi pros" to also circulate our of eyeshot? 3) Is it easier to control and protect one wallet rather than several wallets? 4) Is it prudent to contact and spend time with a thief's confederate?

Posts: 586Nothing. I am not sure if she noticed the stolen money missing from her purse before she left. Or not. I guess she gives me a gold star for catching her. Funny thing is that she was messaging me again last night wanting to see me again. If I ever do see her again, I will be super careful about my keys.
