I've been in Bogota for the past couple of months and decided to fly over to Medellin finally. Arrived on Friday morning, looked up a place to stay, and settled on a hotel in Laureles. On first impression I've got to say Medellin seems a lot nicer than Bogota, though Laurelles is probably not representative of the entire city (I stayed near Santa Fe in Bogota). Explored the city a bit during the day and decided I would check out La Isla and Fase Dos at night.

Was tired as shit from the early flight so decided to take a 20 m nap at 10 pm before heading off to La Isla. Which turned into a 2 h nap. So I ended up getting there at 1 am instead of 11 pm. Was charged 50 k to enter then headed in. This place is super different from the clubs I normally go to in Bogota. First it's a lot bigger. And second there's actually way more tourists. I rarely saw tourists in Bogota, but basically every guy I talked to in La Isla was a tourist. Got a corona for 35 k and decided to walk around. I like different types of girls, though my favorite is definitely the skinny with sillicone type. I kind of expected every girl to be super hot, but doesn't seem to be the case. Most of the girls I wanted to talk to were busy, but I found one girl and got qouted 300 k for 30 m or 600 k for an hour. From what I get 400 k for 40 minutes or an hour is the norm? So my La Isla experience was kind of disappointing. The club's really nice, and it's possible that it was a bit worse because I came so late (11 pm is usually the best time). After La Isla headed off to Fase Dose around 2:30 am. 30 k cover to enter, and it was a huge disappointment. Was only there for 10 minutes before I decided to leave. Wasn't interested in any of the girls so didn't ask about prices. Again, it's possible I came too late but it was also a Friday. When I headed home I decided to try the Facebook approach of searching for a girl named "Vanessa Fernandes" and going through friends lists mentioned earlier in this thread. Also added a Karina Hernandez who I know used to be a working girl based on some other reports, and is exactly my type (pictures attached). I was using a new profile without a picture and kind of just spam adding. Had 2 girls accept my friend request (at 5 am? And then boom my profile gets banned from adding too many people and potentially being a bot LOL. Had a couple questions:

I am unvaccinated and traveled to Medellin last August / Sept. And had no issues. I did take a covid test though so you might still have to do that.

This site claims there are no more covid restrictions or asking for proof of vaccination status or negative test. Information seems current.

While Embassy site seems is still stating that proof of negative test is needed. If boots on the ground haven't been being asked for vax card or neg test in immigration line in Colombia I guess that's what's occuring. And I'm glad that shiite is over.

Better safe than sorry to get tested probably. But that money would be better spent in country in my opinion. Lets stop making the testing companies and mini clinics rich.

Thanks for the insight on your method Moon Shot. Those are decent odds out of 10. Nice to be sure especially on my shorter trips to countries. Need to work on my Facebook game and start adding chicas. I've always relied on my fluent Spanish, hygiene humor and some hands on massage to get them used to my touch before I broach the subject last minute in the room. Usually right after a BBBJ. Have had pretty good success and allows me to see what they are working with down there before I take the plunge. Sometimes an up charge and sometimes none with just heat of the moment alcohol or substance induced wildness and connection. I would agree that if you do not mention the topic of bareback in your chats, it is also possible that the girl will agree to it once she gets to know you and thinks that you are clean. On earlier trips, this is what I did but it was sometimes yes, sometimes no, and there are times when I just want guaranteed bareback. So currently, I just ask upfront and I know what I will get when we are in the room.

It is also the case as you noted that some girls will say sex with condom only, and then will allow bareback on a future visit. Damn straight! You nailed it. I am like you. I work hard. I find new girls who are still fresh and reasonable in price. Why would I share them with someone you don't know? You could be an asshole. Or abuse them. And that looks bad on me. Or worse, you could be a sucker and way overpay her and then she'll want more from me. I feel exactly the same way. For girls who advertise on websites as escorts, I freely share that info to other guys with no problem. As for those hard to find young attractive girls on FB who are also good in bed and reasonably priced, it takes a lot of work and effort to find them and to give that contact info to strangers in exchange for nothing of value doesn't seem like a fair exchange. I've seen a few congregating across the street in front of the Hotel Nutibarra, but there is no area which I used to call "Sacalero Row" alongside the Museum like many years ago.

The Sacaleros are all still around, you just have to look for the telltale sign being a little black plastic bag and a small bottle of glue.

They seem to have just blended in as you have noticed, and guys will find them if they spend enough time walking around the Centro / Botero area.

Some guys loving going with them, because they are so spaced out you can do anything you want with them.

This is not to say that all the girls in Medellin will do bareback. It is the opposite. Most will say no. As a result, if you want bareback, you have to ask a number of girls about it and perhaps a few will say yes. The percentage depends on the type of girl you are asking and what they think about how you look. I don't know exactly what they are looking for but most girls just ballpark whether or not they think you are a clean guy or not. It is not a scientific analysis at all.

And I just read on Division of Foreign affairs site that no more Covid restrictions or requirements for travel to Colombia but that it could change at any time. Last year before Christmas I left from NY on Spirit checked in at a Kiosk that didn't ask me to show an agent any documentation. Took my carry on and proceeded to my flight to Bogota connection in Ft Lauderdale with Layover. In immigration line in Colombia after not having vaccine proof or neg test I was brought aside into a back room waited an HR for a Spirit rep and was sent directly back with my return combination without any time fto.

Eat food. Was craving a Sancocho or Sobrebarriga. Should have bought a snack on budget Spirit Had to scramble get a quick neg test and book another flight to enjoy what was left of my booked trip. My fault but wish that experience on no one. Check and double check the covid rules in each country.

The Check Mig form is different now. I just filled it out and there is not even a question about Covid vaccinations. Also when I checked the rules for entering into Colombia it stated no masks in public are needed. Of course I got not confirmation by E- Mail of the form being completed. I printed out the form. I am a hard copy guy so even if I got a e-mail I still would of printed out the form.

The same thing happened to me. No one asked me about COVID going to or coming back. I am from the USA. In Medellin, no one was wearing masks anymore. I just came back, took a COVID test and I am fine so far,.
