When was the last time you were there? I have seen some videos on youtube and it seems pleasant. When you say not the best environment at the moment would you compare it to being in el Centro in Medellin? I have not been to El Centro but just trying to figure out the type of non sense and security I would have to deal with if I go there. Are the Vennie girls in Caracas cheaper than in Colombia??

You can't get into Venezuela without a visa, which I understand requires a formal request from some one in country, so that would be the first barrier to cross. The Youtube videos are primarily the rich < 1% that live in certain neighborhoods and have holdings in the US. My last apartment in Brickell (Miami) was actually owned by rich Venezuelans. Anyone below the 1% lost all of their money as it was in Bolivars not USD which only the rich had access to. The vast majority of the population is much, much worse off. I live in S. Florida where there are plenty of Venezuelans and nearly every one has a story of being robbed or a family member being kidnapped. And these folks were middle class. Caracus is much worse than El Centro Medellin. LOL. No comparison. And at least if you're in Colombia we have diplomatic representation that can help out if something goes sideways. I don't think the USA Has formal representation in Venezuela any longer and you'd need to work through Switzerland or Sweden. Not a fun prospect.

Secondly, what are you going to do for money? Just walk around with USD? I understand they mostly use that now as Bolivars are as worthless as toilet paper, but in a country where the average salary is now $25-$50 A MONTH you'll be mugged pretty quick if they think you have even a weeks wages (I. E. $10).

Last of all, how is your Spanish and with what kind of accent do you speak? If you don't already appear Hispanic they'll likely be able to tell you're not Venezuelan by your accent. If you don't even speak Spanish that's a whole other deal.

I know this appears as fear mongering, but I don't know if you truly understand what you're suggesting.

No clue about sound proof windows since I have never stayed at another unit at San Peter besides this one. But to be honest I did not think the noise was an issue at all.

In my opinion this apartment is alot nicer than any of the other apartments I found at San Peter on booking.com. As they say to each there own.

Just wanted to follow up with this. Out of the 5 girls I saw on FB who came to see me 4 of the girls were on time. And when I mean they all arrived early. I know that two dates don't a trend make but I have to share something that is so rare, I thought I would never see it.

Two days ago I made a date with a FB girl that I've seen 2 or 3 times before. Our date was for 10 am. I sent her a message at 8 am to remind her but there was no response. I never heard anything from her at all. I was kind of expecting this to be a ghosting. Until hotel reception called to tell me my guest had arrived. She walked in he door at 10:07 am.

One other thing I forgot to mention regarding meeting the girls on facebook. Once you are successful and engage with them it is good to do a video chat with them so you both know each other is real. I forgot to mention. When the San Peter would not accept my Vennie because she did not have the proper form of ID I was able to quickly find an alternative love motel around the San Peter by using motelnow.com.co.

It was really easy and super cheap. You make a request, and provide your whatsapp phone number. Within 30 minutes the motel will approve or disapprove your booking request and will send you a confirmation via whatsapp. You will than have like 1 hour to arrive at the property. This was super easy to use for someone who does not speak Spanish.

I haven't been a fan of New Life in a while, but am sorry to hear of your experience. What I will say is that Sunday may have something to do with it. The best lineups, in my experience, have typically been on Thursday, Friday, and somewhat Saturday, especially if it's on a pay day (more girls show up to address the guys looking to blow their paycheck). Also, I suggest going earlier in the day, like 12-1 pm as many girls will leave early if they're made their money and are allowed.

Uber is great. Very cheap and effective way to get anywhere. I noticed that if you're out of the parque lleras area it's going to take a little longer for Ubers to get to you.

Uber was great. I had no problem using Uber while I was there. The only thing to watch out for is that alot of the times the price I was quoted and the price I actually paid were different. When that happens just dispute the charge on the app by clicking the fare I was quoted was different than paid. They will automatically adjust the fare for you.

That apt looks very nice. Way better than any of the other San Peter apts I've seen online. I had written San Peter off as a place to stay because all the pics I have seen look like a dump but will now consider that apt. Exactly. Not sure why one could even compare the other apartments at San Peter to the one I found on Airbnb. What I was told was that every apartment at San Peter was individually owned.

On a side note I forgot to mention that I noticed some of the cleaning staff at San Peter were very attractive. I was really tempted to make an indecent proposal with one of the cleaning ladies in the building. She was dressed in all white and looked so sexy haha.
